Office Depot

It’s not horrible. But it’s not great either. The usual office supply store. Located in one of the many shopping centers on Reisterstown Rd, in Reisterstown next to the Aldi Super market.
Not much conversation happening here because customer service throughout the store usually isn’t present. I’m always in and out, a quick item pick up periodically.
Nothing special here. Oh, besides the shredding… There are times when I am too lazy to shred the masses of mail, so I just bring it here and pay a decent fee for them to send it to the shredding company. That has been a life and finger saver.

i have been going to this office depot for over a year. The check out line is different from the printing counter. I picked up my item, walked to the check out line, looked up and saw that the check out light was on for one of the registers, and waited for soemoen to come to the register. There were three people in line for the printing counter. When the employee at the printing counter saw me standing there, she called for a cashier. When the cashier arrived, she looked pass me, towards the group at the printing counter, and said next customer. A rude gentleman rushed to the register shouting he was next. This caused a brief conversation, and the cashier sided with the man, giggling as he whispered to her about me standing in line. I will not patronize that store again. I spoke to the cashier, who first apologized, and then dismissed it. Miserable customer service. The the cashier then wanted to instruct me on the procedure of using my office depot card, and weather I wanted the receipt mailed to me. I had just finished telling her that I shop in the store weekly. I will go somewhere else to buy my products for printing. I spend money there weekly.

I am writing you to share my recent experience at the 11716A Reisterstown location. I visited your store with excited and with intention to purchase a office chair due to your promotion. My excite me quickly dwindled as I was In your location a good 10 to 15 minutes sitting in different chairs before I was acknowledged by a staff member. Someone came by to say hi and asking if I need help I replied «I’m trying to find a chair» then the person walked away. I’m not sure why the gentleman asked if had no intentions of helping me or even mentioning the promotional offer at all. I then continued to evaluate several other chairs finally deciding on the Caldwell high back chair which was priced at $ 149. I then looked for someone to assist me with the purchase but every employee was behind the counter at the front of the store. I stood in line waited my turn and a gentleman went to the back to get the chair I wanted. I was then promptly told that I chair I wanted had the wrong price tag on it as he removed the price tag and pointed me to the correct chair. I was told the chair I wanted was actually $ 329 and he could drop it to $ 299 if I still wanted it. My visit was a complete waste of time and the customer service I received was lacking in respect, energy, information, and accountability. I most likely won’t be visiting this location again unless it is absolutely necessary.
