We had been buying here since they opened for business. In the beginning they were pretty nice, helpful. Unfortunately, that has changed now. IMO definitely are definitely not customer oriented now, with rather condescending attitudes toward customers. (BTW… we are not household end users, we are professional cutters) Better know what you need, because some of their staff hasn’t a clue. One of their staff tried to tell me that Stihl doesn’t color coded their chainsaw bars, theybwere all the same! Which of course is not correct, they do indeed color code bars. It’s either green(reduced kickback bar for saws with engines under 3.8c.i. per osha rules) or yellow for the higher displacement engines. In deference to the factory guidelines, they also said it’s ok to mix a green bar with yellow chains… wrong again. At least according to Stihl. Guess they never read manuals. We do. We will be buying elsewhere in the future.
