Never would have picked this place if it had been for a a Unilocal review. Great food not the taste of food you expect from a restaurant near Rendon next to a vapor cig store. And the are Ukrainian not Italian but you would think native Italians could cook Italian food this good.

Hole-in-the-wall Italian spot that you would honestly drive by if you weren’t looking for it. It is very inconspicuous but the food is great. The owner and another girl were the only ones working and maybe a chef in the back. Nonetheless my group of three were sat immediately and drinks were on the table in minutes. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but inside is very well decorated. It’s not a 4 star downtown Dallas spot but again, the good was great. The menu had everything you could ever want in an Italian restaurant: chicken, veal, shrimp, mussels etc etc. I went with the chicken parm because that’s how I tell i am Italian place is good or not. If you can make good chicken parm then more than likely the rest of the food is not good either. Chicken parm was great and served with a massive amount of spaghetti. Bread is served free at the table as well.

Only reason I’m giving a one star is because no star is not an option. The hostess was extremely rude when I walked in. They don’t let you use their restroom because you aren’t eating there. I came to use the restroom then get food to go, but she assumed that I was just there to use the restroom. Rude service, food is expensive for its quality, and the parking lot is rarely full because their food is mediocre.

This a great place for Italian food. I eat there every Valentines day and several times through out the year also we order to go quite often. The food is excellent and the ambience is great. The restaurant is family owned and operated very friendly service you are treated like part of the family. The prices are great too.

I stopped in to order a dinner to go at this Italian restaurant in Rendon. In my 10 minute wait, 3 customers came in to pick up their orders, and several came in to be seated. Staff was prompt and friendly, and the food was reasonably priced and good. There was a sign in the lobby with the specials listed, probably 6 or 7 of them. Being a single order, I was surprised to find two nice little loaves of bread when I got home. One would probably have been plenty, but I was quite glad to enjoy the second one! This is not an Olive Garden, nor is it a romantic little hide-away. The building has been around awhile, but that doesn’t take away from enjoying good company and good food. I’m sure I will stop in again.

They now serve breakfast until 11, I got blueberry French toast and it was delicious. A large pizza is only $ 10.00, their pasta is great, friendly service. We love this little local place.

I found the portions to be appropriate. If you’re looking for a mountain of food, Olive Garden is your place. If you want decent, local Italian food, this place is a great option.

Great family owned restaurant in the heart of Rendon. Don’t let the outside fool you. Great service and a wonderful small town feel. The food is delicious and I love that it is run by one family. It reminds me of being in a small town in Italy! Highly recommended Bella Vitas!

We just left this restaurant and I came straight home to leave a review! My husband and I took our four year old. We called ahead and asked if they served whole wheat pasta. They said they didn’t but could cook it for us if we brought it in, which was awesome and we took them up on it. The restaurant is cozy, everyone working there was friendly, and there was a fabulous keyboard player providing ambience. The food was delicious and it was definitely a family friendly atmosphere. We will be going back!

It’s a typical Mom n Pop restaurant. The food is normally decent to good. I give an extra star because I really enjoy the meatball subs, house salad dressing, and pizza. I wish they had a combo of one slice of pizza with a house salad.

This is a place that I will never eat at again. I ordered the seafood combo and the chicken alfredo and paid $ 30. Got home and had maybe enough food in each container combined for 1 person. When I called, all they could tell me was that was the normal portion size. For this price, I could have clearly went to Olive Garden and got more food with dessert for the the same price. They will never get my business or money again.

Awesome hole in the wall. We stopped in after church and a storm knocked the power out as we were parking. They invited us right in and seated us by candle light. Luck for us they have gas stove and ovens and were able to cook is an amazing meal. We have been back and will continue to dine at Bella Vista!

Went in early evening, plain inside but clean. Had the angel hair and meatballs, sauce could use more time cooking and more on my plate but the pasta was perfect, bread was hot and tasty if only you could get real butter with it, but still good. Overall a good value in a local family owned business.

So very disappointed. Have been coming here off and on for the past 8 years. However, recently the waitress who served our bread did so while talking on her cellphone. Then she went back to have a cigarette while on her phone. The food was bland. The service was so disappointing. Until they improve again, we don’t plan to come back.

The food here is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly. They treat us like family every time, and even remember our names between visits! As the previous reviewer mentioned, they bring out these AMAZING bread baskets. We all love them! This place is definitely worth a try. My personal favorites here are the eggplant parmasiana and you NEED to have their tiramisu!

Went to the one in Renton and picked up a couple of large pizzas and was pleasantly surprised. Better then the chain pizza places and cheaper too. The price point here is pretty good. I have definitely had better pizza, but this is a pretty solid 4 stars for location and price.

This is NOT a place that you eat at for the ambiance or the atmosphere… this place NEEDS a facelift but the food was really good! They serve a fresh basket of rolls that were INCREDIBLE and you could make your own plate of olive oil and spices as they had them all on the table to make the way YOU want them. They also had butter available for the rolls. They kept bringing them out and we certainly LOVED them. The child’s plate of zita pasta was VERY large and full of cheese. The calzones were the best my boys had ever had as the bread was not tough but soft and delicious. My husband had a penne pasta with chicken, sausage, bell peppers and onions… delicious. I chose the manicotti and it was really great too. The bathrooms fit the décor — poor and the place had a slight smoky smell but the food was REALLY great. If you are hungry for pasta and you are in the area, the food is excellent! The town has NOTHING much there so this place is one of few options. Good food. BTW the map is WRONG here on Unilocal.Use the address and Ft. Worth as the city and you will get better navigation.
