This shop is located right across from my place of employment, so I’ve stopped in more than a few times. As far as 7 – 11 convenience stores go, this one is about average. The stock is displayed neatly, with plenty of American junk food to choose from, and they have all the usual beverage choices. I’ve eaten several hot dogs and other items«from the grill» and have yet to drop dead as a result. The quality of such is no more or less what I expect from convenience store cuisine. When I’m broke and have forgotten to pack a lunch, a $ 2.00 ¼lb «Spicy Bite» hot dog covered in cheese, chili, and jalapenos does the trick(not to mention serve as a reminder that I shouldn’t forget to pack a lunch). The price on other items can be pretty high(candy, snacks), so that helps me avoid the siren song of all those empty calories.

Well alright! This is a ok little 7 – 11 talked on a strip of land between Virginia and Sierra streets right across from the UNR campus. They have the usual 7 – 11 shiznit, cheap eats, junk food, soda, brews, and(the in true Nevada fashion) slots. Given its location, most of the patrons are UNR students and staff, so that’s a real upgrade from the normal 7 – 11. I went into grab some beer to go with my Betos dinner and they had big cans of Modelo especial on especial! Win! Worth a stop if you’re in need of snacks or a drink.
