Be careful before you do Unilocal review on this doctor, if it isnt a positive review, she will terminate your care without any notice. Started our pregnancy with Westfall, she was fine. No BS, straight to the point, and efficient. Her nurse on the other hand was dreadful. Acted like we were a burden, very huffy and puffy, and tried to pass us off to the hospital at every chance. Finally, I got irritated to the point I did a Unilocal review on the practice itself, less than a week later we recieved a letter informing us that our care has been terminated. Instead of trying to address the issues we had, she decide to just get rid of us. Her own decision, but If you at any point have a complaint about her, her nurse, or the practice, just keep it to yourself unless you want to look for a new doctor 2 months before the baby is due.

I have gone to Dr. Westfall for a few years now, and I have nothing more than great reviews for her. She is very educated, and makes each visit comfortable. Her nurse Tori is also very helpful, respectful and also makes each visit comfortable… I will recommend this Dr. To anyone looking for an OBGYN Dr.

A strait talking doctor who respects your choices, Dr Westfall has an impressive education. In person she is professional yet personable. Researching for an OBGYN was so bad, I vowed to actually review my doctor and give reasons why or why not to choose them… so here we go. New to the area, looking up Reno Doctors, I could only find their education resumes and very few criticisms. Mostly it was all about how nice they were and what the waiting room was like– whether they were timely for their appointments. While I understand how important having someone friendly is as a Dr and respecting patient’s time, what I wanted in a Dr was someone who really listened to me and my partner and was going to act in our best interest. My first child was an easy delivery at home with a midwife, but this second child I was having later in life, at age 46. I was aware that complications were possible and that I needed a Dr who would work for me. This pregnancy proved much more difficult. Throughout the delivery, Dr Westfall gave us options that aligned with our wishes and allowed us to make informed decisions. Different people need different things in a Doctor. I needed someone who respected my knowledge and opinions. I had no fear of what a pregnancy was like nor was I in uncertain circumstances– if I had needed that kind of nurturing dependant relationship with my Dr, I’m not sure if I’d have chosen Westfall. On the otherhand, I found her very open minded and sex positive. She claims a 75% delivery rate, which is impressive. I never met with other doctors from her office. My appointments that were cancelled were last minute deliveries and who could fault her for that. Finally nursing staffs are important. Tory, her nurse at the office, was humorous, practical and reassuring.
