I’ve been going to this office for more than 10 years, back when it was Dr. Powning (who has since retired). Twice now this office has saved me from having unnecessary work done. When I first visited them after a friend recommended it, I had just seen a dentist who said I needed 6 cavities filled. I saw Dr. Powning and staff for a second opinion, and discovered that I didn’t have any cavities.
Last year I had an insurance plan that made me go to a different dentist. That dentist recommended root planing and said I had infected gums, tooth decay, and bone loss. I thought maybe something fishy was up, so declined to have the procedure done until I got a second opinion. Today, I had a new insurance that let me go back to this office, and found that my teeth are indeed fine.
The new dentists, Craig and Allison Andresen seem very nice and knowledgeable.
