Went here for a wedding in the old school house. Wedding was beautiful and everyone commented on the quaint location for a small ceremony. Landscape was well groomed and access to parking was reasonable. Would recommend for similar get-togethers.

This review is for people considering having a wedding at Bartley Ranch. The venue is ‘as is’. If you think it’s lovely, then that is great. It will be well manicured and watered when your big day arrives. They’ll be blowing leaves around up to the time that you set up and there will be authentic wasps flying around and everything(to let you experience that alternate reality where pest control wasn’t invented). Ensure you know exactly what you want when planning, as last minute changes are not received well by the park management, their inter-office communication needs work(when changes are made, the word doesn’t seem to reach everyone). Ensure you have a copy of your itinerary printed out and on hand at all times during the day of the event even if your changes to your schedule were confirmed by a staff of the park — this will save you much grief on your big day. Ensure you read and understand all of the rules for using the venue — they are policed by staff to a ‘T’. There is absolutely no flexibility allowed for extenuating circumstance. Every minute infraction is corrected by the staff. Remember, it is their park, not the public’s. There will also be mandatory security on site after hours to keep you and your guests in line, but not to ensure that your party is not crashed. And yes, there is an amphitheater on site for concerts, but your band cannot plug their electrical instruments into an amp and play at low volumes. Your band cannot plug into an amp at all… so, they can’t play their electrical instruments… at all. Maybe having some cash on hand to grease some palms might work, but I don’t know. It’s only your big day and your bride will understand, I’m sure. Just sayin’…

I would give this park a 5 star, but… dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn areas :(I didn’t notice the signs until I already walked through two lawn areas and was falling in love with this AWESOME park…
