Chef Brandy was an absolute pleasure to work with for our small and intimate 25-​person wedding. Her positivity, passion, and flexibility made it very easy to work with her throughout the entire process and to feel at ease. She also had no issue working with our budget, providing an accurate estimate, and staying on target.
She was overall very prompt with replying to correspondence, brought a broad range of ideas and suggestions to us during the planning phase, and executed perfectly on the day-​of. Our guests, and ourselves, could not say enough about how amazing the appetizer and dinner portions of the evening turned out — including the extremely attentive service staff.
Kudos to Brandy & staff — highly recommended!

Brandy was absolutely amazing! She cooked dinner for our group of 8 at our Tahoe rental this past weekend. She was so flexible and responsive throughout the planning process, super fun and friendly while she cooked (even taught us a few chef tips), and prepared and presented a really delicious meal, at a price that was on par with or lower than other private chefs I came across on Unilocal.At the end of the meal, she split us into groups and taught us to make a delicious berry shortcake — we all really loved that interactive aspect. And she cleaned everything up that she brought (thank goodness she brings all her own gear since our rental wasn’t fully stocked). I just can’t recommend Brandy and the private chef dining experience highly enough. Will definitely ask her back next time we are in the area!

I’d been turned on to Chef Brandy during the once-​monthly dinners at the Caughlin Club in Reno. Excellent food, very creative. About a year later I hired her for a private lesson making desserts. Lavender blueberry gelato (real gelato– not like the stuff you get at the store) and Earl Grey biscotti. Amazing. Her prices are very good for private lessons, and she had all of the specialty utensils etc. that I didn’t have available, which made things much easier.
Highly recommend.

Got home from a long trip and had called Chef’s Palette. When I walked in the door, the house smelled amazing, kitchen was spotless, and tucked in my fridge were two beautifully plated entrees. A lovely personalized flier welcomed me home and gave me instructions to best heat my meal. I has chosen Lavender, Honey, and Balsamic roasted chicken, Parmesan and thyme penne, and a grapefruit and fennel salad. The vinaigrette was just perfect. A cinch! This would be great for all kinds of occasions when you want a good meal ready but can’t pull it off. Chef Brandy was very fast and professional! Highly recommend this service.
