Chimney Sweep Morin

I didn’t know that Morin Chimney Sweep did dryer vents! They did a great job for me!

I have used Morin Chimney since 2007, that’s 8 years. And I have nothing but high regards for this husband & wife team. ALWAYS kind on the phone & quick to respond even with this being their 2^nd job.
I especially like the honest business ethic. If there’s a safe cost efficient way to get the job done, they will inform you.

Rude and unprofessional, I wish I would have gone with a different company. Most contractors can clean chimneys, call them. I don’t live in a million dollar home and the guy cleaning my chimney mentioned it many times; sorry I’m not pulling chimney sweeper money.

We have used Morin Chimney Sweep for years and have always been more than satisfied with their excellent service. They installed a wood-​burning stove and they were efficient, fast, and meticulous. We would not hesitate to refer others to them!

I moved into my current house two years ago. The fireplace had been cleaned out but I found the chimney was clogged and I could not open the damper. The guy came out and did a cleaning service. Unclogged the chimney. That’s it.
The fireplace had been cleaned out previously so he had nothing to do there.
I tried to have a fire and that is when I discovered the damper was not fixed. I have to jerk it back & forth several tiimes to get it to open or close. I called & they said that was not part of the service and would be a separate service charge to adjust the damper to work and was rude in his explanation.
What a shame — Morin came out to clean my chimney at my old house. The guy that came out was awesome. To bad they let their customer service fall. For the $ 100 they charge, I would have expected the damper to work.

I had them sweep my chimney which hadn’t been done in years. They were on time, efficient, and there was no mess. They also repaired some cracks they found (for an extra, but reasonable fee). I will definitely use them again.

They would not come to my area. I guess they want to stay where the money is best in Tahoe!
