What can I say? Club Lakeridge has beautiful apartments, to the point when I stumbled in after my 15 hour drive from Flagstaff with my mother and stepfather(they require stopping EVERY30MINUTES), I was in awe at the beauty of the apartment. The fireplace, the comfy couches, the cool tile in the dining room and kitchen. The dining room and kitchen bigger than the ones in my real apartment. Then, my own little bathtub, with closets and dressers so I could pretend I actually lived there. And then, oh god, then, the jets in the bathtub and the softest, fluffiest pillows ever. I slept like a baby. But then all hell broke loose. I got up in the morning, needing to finish some schoolwork and such, but first I wanted to relax with a nice game of League of Legends. Just something to wake me up before I had to get into the yucky school work grind, which I had to finish before I could really enjoy my vacation. But no, it wasn’t to be. The wifi is so freaking awful it won’t work between the hours of 10 am and 9 pm ATALL, and even when it kind of works, it’s like I’m attempting to use AOL dial-up while my brother tries to talk on the phone with whatever skeevy girl he was banging at the time: constantly dropping and consistently laggy. It was unusable for gaming, and I could barely get my work uploaded for class. Now, I get it. I’m at a nice resort, in Reno, on vacation. Maybe they were thinking, if the wifi sucks, people will go out and enjoy the amenities and the awesome sights we have in the city. But I am not that kind of person. I do not enjoy being social, or talking to drunk guys who are hitting on me while all I can think is how easily I can reach my wine key in my purse. I enjoy playing video games, and chilling. Preferably without the crowds. And the enforced tennis dress code. I could enjoy sitting by the pool, with a nice frosty beverage, but not at night. It’s chilly out there at night in Reno. And they close the pool, so you see how I couldn’t do that all night. I tried to make the best of it. I asked the internet what I could do as a young woman, alone, in Reno. It’s best ideas were the build-a-bear workshop and the sex shop. I know, maybe actually go gamble a bit, but the prospects of having to deal with the crowds is too much for introverted little me. I work full time. I go to school full time, and take summer classes. All I wanted was to relax a little, and that includes being able to use the internet without throwing my expensive hextech naga across the room out of frustration. So, please Club Lakeridge, this is my plea to you, from the introvert who wants to vacation in introverted peace, please upgrade your wifi. Because in the future, there will be a gamer on vacation who won’t be able to squash his/her violent and murderous outrage at being unable to even use google the way I did, and you’re going to have to clean blood out of your nice carpets.

Roxanne was extremely pleasant when I contacted her and she gave us a spectacular and large 2 bedroom condo in this complex. It has literally all of the amenities that you have at home and they have board and card games for the kids. There is a great fitness center which even has an indoor tennis court. We loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi. What is best is the location is centrally to large shopping areas which literally have almost all of the major stores. The complex was very clean and modern looking. The surroundings are quiet. The beds are very comfortable. There is even a gas powered fireplace that looks as if it is burning logs. Best stay in Reno by far.

From the moment we checked in with Roxanne at the front desk, we knew we picked the perfect ‘home away from home’ for our Thanksgiving vacation. The apartment style hotel was perfect for our needs, we were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner perfectly in the thoughtfully stocked kitchen. The 2 bed/2 bath rooms were clean and the inside washer and dryer were perfect to launder everything before returning home. Beautiful fireplace in the livingroom. The access to property facilities included a fun indoor pool and spa, plus we played tennis and racquetball and worked/out in the gym for free! Can’t say enough good things about this property.
