Just found out today they won’t serve non fat milk:(what a shame I use to enjoy this place…

Lovelovelovelove this place. Good coffee, great tea, and an awesome hipster ambience? Yes, please. I’ve run by this place several times in the last month or so in preparation for the RTO. Oddly enough, it was my book club meeting that actually brought me inside the place. To start off I had the Coconut Chai Latte and a quiche. The latte was decent, if a little weak in flavor. But the quiche was as tasty as can be. They have an interesting and yummy selection of eats and treats, so it’s totally an acceptable place to meet for either breakfast or even lunch. I may have started off with a Coconut Chai, but I ended with a Lavender Latte. Twice over. What I mean to say is… I tried my mom’s Lavender Latte, loved it so much that I chugged my Chai, got up and got my own Lavender Latte. Then I became a crazed Lavender maniac and bought a SECOND Lavender Latte. That’s a lot of Lavender. But obviously it was delicious. So frothy. The lavender is light, but strong enough to leave a lasting impression, which is surprising considering the fact that it’s an herbal tea. Either way, I will definitely be coming back for more. As far as the book club meeting went, I wouldn’t always recommend meeting large groups here. There is absolutely enough seating to accommodate a large group, but the place seems to be perpetually packed. Overall, it was a nice experience. I look forward to coming back and having another Lavender Latte. And they have a bunch of other interesting tea blends as well! Happy Unilocaling.

Love their latte… and pastries. This was a great place, I enjoyed my first time so much that it ended up being the only place I tried over the memorial day weekend. They opened everyday at 6am, even on Memorial Day. Giving them a 5 star, nothing more to say…

Shout out to the big guy workin the register who stayed totally cool and polite and humble when my Dad did his cranky old man routine when he was confused about his order. Great customer service there and staying so patient and polite in an uncomfortable situation, thank you! Cool ambience, love the modern refab industrial feel plus lots of nice, organic outdoor space. Bonus for Reno, a parking lot adjacent to the café! Score… hassle free(and free) parking! Eclectic crowd, vast array of ages, but trends younger. Coffee was silky and smooth and great presentation, but lacked robustness and full bodied flavor. I had a soy latte though, so takeit for what its worth. Awesome pastry and savory selection, even found more than one egg-free,(allergy) savory option, very rare for a café, sooo, extra bonus. However, be sure to ask them to warm it up for you if you want it that way. Otherwise you just get your ham n cheese croissant slapped onto a plate cold. I would go back.

I’ve only gone here once so far, so here are my first impressions: The girl who served me was very friendly and sociable and offered me several options as I was deciding what to order. I ordered a flavored tea which I expected was going to come in the usual disposable cup, but she gave me a ceramic cup with a teapot. Nice touch I thought, makes it more personal. There were also a good variety of pastries, plus some ‘deals’ on the top shelf for $ 2 each, I think she said because they were there since early morning? I got one, tasted good to me, and good price. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I didn’t care for the location, which seemed to be a college area and there were a lot of students hanging around there, not sure I want to go too often if that’s the case. Still I would recommend the place, and try it out again.

Nice, quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Blueberry muffins were excellent, although I wish they had a no-nut version. This is one of those shops that will serve you in a glass mug if not taking your order to go. They had plenty of seating, indoors and out as well as a few televisions scattered around.

Still five stars for the atmosphere but the coffee attention has gone down. Latte art was on point and great cap but drip coffee shouldn’t have tons of grit like its a bad French press or something. Wanted to say something but those baristas are busy, bc at the end of the day it’s still the best place in Reno for coffee. *i guess just don’t order regular coffee? I would always choose espresso beverages anyways

loved the interior design. WIFI was a bit off in terms of speed. espresso beans smelled so good throughout the coffee shop. latte art was amazing — will order 2 shots next time. would come back again!

I love this place! It’s atmosphere is eclectic: soothing and energizing at the same time. Plus, their menu provides an array of options for the all levels of coffee connoisseurs that come from locally-provided ingredients and well-treated farm animals. I enjoyed two of their mocha cappuccinos and their frittatas. The cappuccinos were beautiful, warming, and delicious. The frittatas were a little dry, but still satisfying. I recommend this place as a meeting place for a light brunch, to catch up with friends, or to entrench yourself in your recent favorite read, but prepared to be there for a couple hours. You’ll get sucked into this comforting and inviting abode.

Let’s go for the pros : The menu is widely ranged everything from Coffee and Tea, pastries, and lunch ideas. They even have a gelato bar. My favorites to drink are always the Chai tea’s, lavender latte, and their lattes in general but switch them out with coconut milk if you want to try something different. But overall I really enjoyed their different tea lattes. The food is well thought out and there’s always something different but you can always count on some staples as well. Their pastries are enjoyable, not necessarily the best out there but still really good. I have yet to have any of their gelato but it really does look yummy. Their sandwiches are very good as well. The parking is decent. There is a small parking lot off to the side and then if that’s full there’s street parking but there’s always plenty of spaces. Their hours are very reasonable as well being that they are open till about 9 p.m. or so in the evening. Just a couple cons : Definitely do not go at rush hour you will not have any place to sit or you’ll be standing inside during winter hours to waiting for a place to sit. I would recommend to go either mid morning or later in the afternoon. One thing I was highly disappointed in were there crepes, definitely not authentic at all. Their prices are hit-and-miss for me. I don’t mind paying extra for local places but I expect more from the food in general. The pricing on the drinks are very reasonable.

Coffee Bar is my favorite coffee place in Reno! Favorite things: — Their coffee. I get quad soy lattes, everywhere, and there’s such a huge difference. They roast their own beans and they’ve got such a unique flavor; it’s hard to explain but it’s really good. Their baristas also know what they’re doing(not always a given). Most places deliver a disappointing, odd latte(too much foam, too little, way too milky, lukewarm). Coffebar’s is always consistent and perfect. — Location. Hidden away on Mt. Rose St in the residentials. It’s a nice change of pace from the bustle of downtown or midtown and yesterday we sat on their newly renovated patio. Can’t wait till they get it planted and the 2 large trees bloom offering shade. Perfect for Sunday coffee or Wednesday wine! — Food. We’ve liked almost everything we’ve had there. Yesterday we had the San Remo(Croissant with herb cream cheese, sliced cucumber, sliced turkey, pesto & pea shoots, panini’d AND the Farm Crêpe with ham, roasted red peppers, Brie, spinach and a pesto dip. Both really good. We’ve also tried some of the gluten free baked goods which were surprisingly ok but very, very sweet — best to split. My favorites, much to the dismay of my waistline, are the Ham and cheese croissant(topped with baked Parmesan) and the Raspberry Brie croissant(topped with crunchy demura sugar). Perfect grab and go’s — Atmosphere — hip but comfortable. Always lots of people but we’ve always gotten a table. Local, rotating art on display from local artisans. Love that. Friendly vibe and mix of people. Lots of students also moms and business people — I’ve struck up chats with interesting people on multiple occasions. Less pretentious feeling than some of the other Reno coffee spots.

This is my go to coffee joint for business meetings. Free WiFi is great for getting work done. I love the décor. The tables are topped with a colleague of dictionaries. One wall has a great mosaic of coffee cups. Currently they’re redoing the outdoor seating — cement slap for the tables and a fence. The vibe is a bit hipster but they do coffee right. The sweets are out of this world… I’m a huge fan of the espresso brownie which might not be on the menu anymore. They serve savory foods as well. Plus a wine tasting series. Baristas are always friendly. At times it might seem like the service is slow but they are actually making sure each order is exactly what the customer wants.

Coffeebar(right next to Wild Garlic on Mount Rose Street) is generally a coffee house, they serve pastries, breakfast sandwiches and quiches, pastries, ice cream and, of course, coffee and tea. Been here once or twice before this evening, nice place, nice atmosphere, good eats. Just a little out of the beaten path for me. But when in this neighborhood, I would definitely come back and enjoy their culinary arts. Tonight, however, I was here for a Monthly Wine Tasting. Hosted by Giuseppe’s Cellar Club, this evening we tasted 7 wines from North America. $ 20 if ticket bought in advance, $ 25 at the door. First was Gruet — Blanc de Noir(Pinot Nois & Chardonnay) $ 21/bottle. Slightly bubbly, I enjoyed this very light wine. Albuquerque, New Mexico Second was CMS, 2014(Sauvignon Blanc, Cjardonnay & Marsanne) $ 18/bottle. Also a very light wine. Both this and the Gruet would be great with a light luncheon with a berry salad. Columbia Valley, Washington Next was Calera, 2014 — Chardonnay. $ 23/bottle My inexperienced palette felt this was too dry for a white wine. Central Coast, California Fourth — Aleana, 2013 — Pinot Noir. $ 28/bottle Not bad but little heavy for a Pinot Noir. Willamette Valley, Oregon Fifth — Pedroncelli, 2013 — Zimfandel. $ 20/bottle Again, not a bad wine a little on the dry side. Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, California. This wine was paired with a Butternut Squash Mouse and crisp bacon strip. Sixth — Bishop’s Peak, 2013(Cabernet Sauvigon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdon & Cabernet Franc) $ 22/bottle Also a dry wine, but it’s supposed to be dry. Enjoyed this wine. Paso Robles, California Finally — Anaba, 2011 — Viognier Late Harvest — $ 25/bottle. A sweet dessert wine that was rather enjoyable, not overly sweet. This was served with a petite cookie. Sonoma, California. While I enjoyed being there, the space was way too small for the number of people. I got there early and got through the two tables with quite a few excuse me’s, can I get by. Later it was almost impossible to move. As I was leaving, roughly 45 minutes after entering, I had to work my way out of the room and more people were coming in. It was a nice evening, too bad they didn’t do in on the back patio. On the whole, I would definitely consider the next tasting.

A key to a successful business are the employees. That being said it is important to have a work environment that keeps employees who are face to face with the customers happy, and not hate their job. It seemed that the employees were friendly but didn’t enjoy their job and seemed to be treated poorly by management. Sarah however is my favorite barista she is nice, helpful, and funny. A true gem in the place! The food is delicious and the drinks are expert always on point. Pricey but definitely yummy. The atmosphere is nice good place to catch up with someone or go on a coffee date. Love the artwork, they frequently change it up too. Social media active so if you snap a pic on Instagram they will definitely notice you.

Coffee bar = HIPSTER. It’s pretty spacious for a coffee shop but seats are always filled up. I recommend the lavender latte and chai tea latte. Definitely a must try :)

I love this place. It’s like home. I usually go about 3 times a week for up to 2 or even 4 hours a time just editing and working. The staff has been so amazing every time I go in, I swear just as genuine as it gets. They definitely set the mood, and well delicious iced lattes definitely help. Anyway I’m thankful to have such a rad coffee shop in the neighborhood. Thankful for you coffee bar!

The coffee bar is located on Mt Rose street in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There is ample parking in the back as well as several tables on the side. The counter where you order is located in the front of the building and there are quite a few tables inside. There is a downstairs, but i did not go down. I sat down at a table and i flagged down an employee. She quickly came over and explained the counter is at the front, then offered to get my coffee. Great customer service. The ambiance is very laid back, especially outside. The latte was wonderful, with overtones of chocolate. The flavor of the espresso was extremely smooth. I will be back and enjoy the beautiful seating area outside.

I decided to visit this place on a Friday morning just before 9 a.m. while visiting Reno. I was able to easily find side street parking directly across from the coffee shop and it was only about a six minute drive from our hotel downtown. They have 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz cups available so I opted for an 8oz mocha with two shots today. The 8oz and 12oz sizes come standard with one shot, but you can get the second shot for free with your Unilocal check-in. The coffee was super good! It tasted balanced and the coffee had a unique flavor. The walls were made of exposed brick and the seating area is pretty large. The ceiling also was exposed which gave it a slight industrial feel. The staff was very friendly. I would come back if I was in the area again and wanted coffee.

This spot is unlike many coffee shops in town. It’s nestled in a residential area. It serves various coffee and tea drinks. And wine. A great use of an old brick building with simple furnishings. Plenty of tables throughout the space. Yet when full doesn’t seem loud, you hardly notice any others around you. Free wifi-Giuseppe. Two large cases of pastries, sandwiches and other treats. They even warm them up for you. I enjoyed a wonderful large breakfast bacon calzone with a little salad for $ 6.50 and a tea latte for $ 2.50. My friend had a Caprese salad that filled her plate. In good weather there are a few tables outside in the yard. Last month I stopped in and they had a great wine sale going on. Couldn’t believe the selection of wines they had and the sale prices $ 10 – 40. Just a nice place to hang out and enjoy with friends

They raised prices again — second time in less than a few months. The double latte in my own cup is now $ 3.95 — up .45 cents. Six months ago it was only $ 3.25. Still love the service and product, but the value of driving out of my way to bring them business is unfortunately starting to erode. By comparison, the reward program at Hub is now a better deal. The Hub Latte is $ 4.04 and it is delicious. After you buy 10, you get a $ 5 discount, so spread over 10 lattes that makes price per product $ 3.50. As much as I love Coffeebar, it’s hard now to justify driving past Hub for my daily cup of Joe…
