Never had a real problem at this store. Sometimes it takes up to a day for a prescription to be filled but that is rare. And had the same issue at other pharmacies as well. Staff is friendly and always helpful in helping me find something.

After some passive complaints about not storing Moosehead beer in the coolers more often, as I wrote, a year ago,… They are finally stocking Moosehead in the cooler 9 out of 10 times that I’ve shopped there. The checkers are nice, and I know many of them by name. Some of the new ones, hassle me for my CVS rewards card when I come in.(They get some kind of reward for that: ignore them if you can!). I rarely find a reason to use their coupons as I think they are a bit high-priced for things other than beer. Funny, the front doors seemed to be always covered with ply-board. The checkers I know said it would often be a robbery attempt but they didn’t know for sure. This has to be the«dumpsy-est» CVS that I’ve shopped in. I think they have a great shoplifting problem in that store. I even caught a checker asking a woman to open her purse as she felt the lady shoplifted something. It was empty of any shoplifted goods, so the checker let her go. Isn’t there some law that says if you are wrongly accused to be shoplifting and you were not– you could sue them for something like defamation of character? We were taught never to do that unless you were 100% certain.

Ghetto dirty store. My son transfered to a different company. Loves them. But CVS won’t get it thru their head. They keep auto refilling his prescription then calling and texting him early in morning when he works late. Guess it’s time to sick mom on them.

This location has the WORST customer service. I’ve been a fairly long term customer, only because its right next to my house and every single encounter I have at the pharmacy is terrible. I’m in customer service my self and If you can’t handle being pleasant to your customers then you simply shouldn’t be aloud to talk to strangers. Not only is the customer service terrible these guys go out of their way to ensure they waste your time. Example: You drop off your prescription and they tell you it’ll ready in one hour. You leave and as your pulling out onto the street you get the automated cvs text telling you its ready! Now, this has happened every time I drop off. I understand they need to over promise but they know exactly what they’re doing… wasting your time. I could go on and on but my point being is this specific cvs is not the place to go. On a lighter note, the staff outside the pharmacy are quite pleasant and always very helpful!

This is not a nice CVS. The inside is dark and creepy to me… Just appears outdated and run down. It is not very organized and the employees appear pretty lifeless. I came here only once and will stick to my other locations in the future. They should really think about giving this one a makeover! :/

The pharmacy people refuse to work with you… The dr puts 5 days early in your script and this place refuses to do it. Or they say ready in 20 mins and 2 hours later it’s still not ready come on!!! This is the worst one I will never go back… If u need ur meds on time don’t come here!!!

Not sure what’s going on with some of the other reviews, but I’ve found this store to be very clean with friendly employees. Huge selection of beer/liquor, and several specials going on — be sure to get a CVS card and utilize your coupons. OK, so the neighborhood is what it is, and the parking lot and store itself are huge, but you’ll be tons better off here for most of your needs vs. going to Raley’s across the street — I’m still astounded about how high-dollar everything there is.

It’s that thing where a drugstore looks like it barely survived the run on rations during the zombie apocalypse. Ring bell for service!

I don’t know how I always wind up in this CVS when I am Reno, but for whatever reason, I do. And this is seriously the creepiest CVS I’ve ever set foot in. It’s a total throwback to something out of the late 70s /early 80s — and not in a hip, retro way, but in a scary, horror movie way. However, all that being said, the pharmacists are really nice and efficient. So props for that.

Yuck. This store is old, dank, and disorganized. They have weird odds and ends scattered about the store, but nothing that anyone would really want to buy. The cashier folk are super slow, like glacial in speed really. The parking lot is pretty scary too, lots of weirdos seem to hang out there. Its odd because the Raley’s across the street feels safe but this place does not. Avoid at all costs.

Several months back I was driving all over Reno to every drug store pharmacy type place I could think of… I needed an(apparently) very obscure hair product that was probably much more popular in the 80’s(that crazy spray on temporary hair color stuff — a great addition to any costume or themed party!). So now I’m somewhat of an expert on CVS stores and Walgreens. This CVS was a creeper… even at 3 in the afternoon. Its in a bad neighborhood, and the parking lot is awkwardly huge, so it makes the neighborhood look even worse because there is a ton of asphalt with this square CVS building in the middle. There were kids loitering with their ADORABLE white bulldog who I wanted to pet(but I was scared of the kids lol) — They were getting eyed by the employees the whole time. I got the feeling like theft and general criminal acts might be a common fear of the employees. Everyone seemed a little on edge. The store is much bigger than the others, but half of it is devoted to beer and liquor so it doesn’t make the selection any better than the other locations. That being said, they didn’t have what I needed :/So I walked out… the wrong way… I ended up in the entrance turn around thing that I wasn’t supposed to be in — so the layout out is a bit strange. A while later I was in the neighborhood and needed some Tylenol and figured it would be MUCH cheaper at CVS than the Raleys across the street(it was like 10pm this time, and MUCH creepier). I asked to use their bathroom and they said No, only for paying customers. So I grabbed my Tylenol and asked again at the checkout stand(since I was a paying customer). They kinda looked at me, and looked at each other, and said, no we locked it cause we are closing in 30 minutes. Oh darn :(Honestly its totally understandable since I bet they have bums trying to use their bathrooms all the time — to take showers in the sink and stuff — but just so others know, if you have a potty emergency don’t pull into CVS, drive on down to the McDonald’s maybe :) All in all, it is a CVS almost like any other — but I say keep on driving to the next nearest pharmacy(I like the one on California/Mayberry).
