The Enclave is a wonderful gated community. My girlfriend and I moved in a little over a year ago and have never had a real issue. Any maintenance issues have always been promptly taken care of. The leasing staff has always been friendly, courteous and helpful. The grounds are always well maintained and the people who live here are neighborly and quiet.

In Reno, it is much cheaper to own than rent these days but if you know your stint in Reno is temporary. It is a necessary evil. The negatives Pet rent and crazy non refundable pet deposit. My pet is a glorified rug that wakes up once a day to eat. He is very much a piece of furniture. I don’t mind having a deposit because I know not all pets are like mine. However, I do not like how their deposit is non-refundable even if your pet caused no damage. To those of us with low damage causing pets, this is a huge negative. The only other annoying things are some of their utilities are not fixed. It is per usage but get this, they don’t have individual meters, so if one month your neighbor went on vacation with a running toilet for a week, you have to suffer with a large bill along with them. Depending on if you’re the type to do something like this or not, it may or may not be a positive. For people with kids, plenty of sex offenders in the neighborhood but that is the case almost anywhere you go in Reno. It would be a good idea to look up the sex offender registry but again, this place isn’t any worse off than most other complexes in Reno. If you don’t have pets and don’t want to buy, this place is okay.
