Great service. I needed my gas fireplace repaired and hired a heating and AC place who came in and lit the pilot light after I explained that the problem is it just does not stay lit and they said it’s working now. $ 65 and they left. 20 mins and the fire was out again so I called them back. The guy was clueless as to what was wrong and had to call a coworker to get info. They ended up telling me I needed a new valve that would cost $ 500. I said I’d think about it but did not trust them. Waited about 6mos and cold weather made me call these guys. The guy checked it out and seemed to know the fireplace like the back of his hand. Fixed a fallen pipe, cleaned it all up, stayed to make sure it was working correctly and charged $ 95. It was a far better deal than the other guys $ 500.My dogs and I are enjoying the warmth now that its so cold.

I waited over eight years to get the Hudson Bay gas stove. It was quite expensive, and I wanted a perfect installation. The installers did a perfect job. They were very professional and took their time to ensure that the stove was installed and the pipes were level and plumb. They did an excellent job and where is meticulous as I would’ve been. Maintenance Review: 2STARS out of 5: Well, it’s disappointing to report that the service is below standards. Apparently, they only have two service reps. The new one is very nice and seems competent. The second is their primary service man. He repaired my stove in an unsatisfactory method. He had a very bad attitude. It was like…“I am only going too much to make you happy”. I had to prod him alone to do a good job, yet he failed. When I complained they wanted to send him back to fix the repair that he already messed up. Why do they think that he would do a better job. They claim that they are factory trained, but which factory? I give them a rating of «2÷5». As a side note: You will get no support from«Quadra-Fire»! They send you back to the worthless service department of this company.

I stopped in today to see if they sold vent-less gas fireplaces. I had found one on line but wanted to give my business locally. The guy who finally showed up, rudely and hurriedly asked what I needed. When I asked if they sold those, he rudely replied«No». I then asked if they did install only. He pointedly said«if you don’t buy it here then we don’t install it.» And walked away. He was extremely rude and the entire place was so unwelcoming. Two other people behind the counter at the desks never even lifted their heads. Stay FARAWAY from this over priced rude business. If you can even call it that. What a joke.

We cannot stand this company! Every experience has been rude! Today, I go in there to see if they have a part for my pellet stove. The guy behind the counter was looking down at whatever he was working on and asked if he could help us. No handshake, no introductions, nothing. I told him what I needed and was very abrupt about what he needed. I assured him that I had the correct unit. We seemed bothersome for him to help us. Once he gets the info for us, he hands me his card and tells me to let him know what I want to do. Hello! I need the stupid part for my stove so it will work. Needless to say, I did not buy the part from him. And I’m glad too! I checked with the store where I originally bought my stove from(Sierra Hearth and Home) and the representative gave me a price that is saving me almost $ 70 for the same part! Fireplace Distributors has no customer service, is always rude, up-charges on their products and services. Believe me, I don’t mind driving to Carson where I am treated as the customer, not a person who seems to bother the employee to do their job!
