Can’t beat $ 2.99 breakfast all day!!! My wife and I got the all day breakfast special. It comes with hasbrowns, sasuage or bacon, 2 eggs any style, and toast. Got me a cup of fresh squeezed OJ and we were good to go. They had pizza and hot dogs for my kids. Can’t go wrong with this place if you either missed breakfast times, or want to save money for that expensive dinner and eat here for lunch. The prime rib and lobster looks descent… the family and I may try it next time out.

The quality of food is average. It is clean and an ok variety of food. They offer Americana, Chinese/Vietnamese food. The country breakfast is the best bang for your buck– which offers eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast for $ 3. The breakfast burrito I had was big, but not balanced. It had a lot of scrambled eggs and not much meat in it. They have a great burger deal and it’s good, especially if you’re off to the sportsbook. Not bad for $ 6. Eat here for quick food on the go. The Chinese food side of the food court is just ok. I was impressed that they cook each order fresh. Bad side is the wait. I waited in line for at least 30 minutes. Also, the cooks don’t understand English all to well. When I got my food, the brocolli beef I ordered was still a little pink. The taste was bland and not flavorful. Best bet, order the Phở or fried foods. I probably would only eat the Phở or fried foods here IF the line was very short. The seating around is spacious and offers a lot of condiments. There are wet wipes offered to disinfect your hands, which I appreciated. Pros Average food Not bad in pricing Clean looking Made fresh in your presence Cons Not too much variety Long wait for Chinese food Small walking area where you order food Some of the food is bland

I’d give it 5 stars, but the line, which wasn’t long when we got there, took forever to get through… but that’s because they cook to order your meal — so take that for what it’s worth and expect some standing in line… and even still, the lines here were definitely a lot shorter than the line upstairs at the Flavors Buffet. I finally got to the cook(we decided on the Asian/Chinese fare) and ordered a pork bun to which I was told they had no more. I was disappointed, and then angered when I checked my watch. It was only 11:30 am and the line only opened at 11 am. I was like, wait, you’re out of pork buns already?!? I didn’t see any of the people in front of me get pork buns. I want my pork buns.(yes, this is one of the reasons why my kids think I’m embarrassing to be around at times) The food I got was awesome. The dishes the kids picked were also good. No complaints there. The prices were reasonable… around $ 7 per item, depending on what you picked and the portions were huge… not skimpy at all… I just wish they had some pork buns…

If you want two lobster tails and a prime rib for dinner for under $ 20, this is the place to come! Their lobster tails are yummy and the prime rib isn’t bad. Sometimes there are long lines but you can skip it if you aren’t ordering Asian foods. It’s very affordable here and you can get some food for $ 2.99 like breakfast items.

The first thing you need to know about this place… IT’S FUCKINGCHEAP! And by that I mean I got the USDA Prime Rib & Lobster, which also came with mashed potatoes & gravy + veggies for 15 dollars. The portions were reasonable as well. Atmosphere: ~ When I heard there was a food court, I was expecting something a little bit bigger. But instead it was a tiny little place with multiple menus — Asian, sandwiches, hearty dinners, etc. You have little trays, order what you want, and then pay at the end. The dining area is pretty large so it can easily fit big groups too. Food: ~ The first thing I noticed about Fresh Express is that it is amazingly cheap. Just take a look at the menu yourself. I thought that with the cheap prices, shit’s bound to be McDonald’s quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised. My prime rib and lobster were cooked to perfection. I had a bite of my boyfriend’s burger and it was juicy with fresh veggies and the wedges were yummy as well. It looks like just because Fresh Express is cheap, doesn’t mean they skipped on the quality at all. I was very impressed with Fresh Express and loved it so much that I actually came down for a few late night munch sessions. Oops!

This place is hidden away by the slots and against the wall towards the other side of the casino downstairs. I would’ve never known that there would be food court there but pretty convenient I suppose since you don’t have to walk all the way to the middle of the casino and up the escalator and down to the other side towards Circus Circus to grab a quick bite. This place had Asian food, Mexican food, American food and a deli. I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted even though the menu was very limited for each section but I ended up getting some beef chowmein which was pretty good. It’s cooked to order, so they make it there right in front of you. My mom always get the shrimp fried rice and in my opinion, I wouldn’t get it because it was too plain? My cousin wanted to add noodles to her wonton soup but the cook said no? Which I don’t understand why when there was a bunch of noodles there and we would’ve paid the extra charge. The pad thai there is definitely not the one you get at your usual Thai restaurant either, they just threw a bunch of meat together and stir fry it with vegetables so don’t expect that tamarind taste with the peanuts in there. The noodle soup looked plain too, I think my cousins got the wonton, which doesnt come with noodle and one got the chicken and I didn’t hear good things about. Next time I come here, I would probably just stick with the deli items or the beef chowmein. Oh they also serve breakfast here too. The name says it all though, «Fresh Express Food Court», so expect a little below mediocre food!

This review is for the breakfast only. I needed a quick breakfast(no buffet this time for me). Noticed the country breakfast deal here and gave it a try. It was close to ‘cook to order’ as you can get. Friendly and fast people working here. The breakfast hit the spot.

For this dinner I visited a restaurant inside the Silver Legacy called the Fresh Express Food Court. Basically, my parents were staying at the Silver Legacy and were tired of how much food was costing them so we searched high and low(in both the Silver Legacy and the Eldorado) and found out that this place is hands down the cheapest place to eat out of all the restaurants in these two casinos. The décor in the food court is pretty lacking; there are plastic plants surrounding the dining area and the view consists of slot machines. The way this food court works is cafeteria style; I told the cooks what I wanted and they put it together. I then placed the food on my tray; at the end the cashier rings up whatever food is on the tray. There is a pretty good variety of food to choose from; I chose the pound hamburger with cheese, fries, and a domestic beer for $ 7.49. My parents chose to split the prime rib for $ 10.99. The burger was exactly what I expected; it came straight from under a heat lamp and was pretty dry… the fries were ok but nothing special. The prime rib had the same story as the hamburger… dry; good thing there was a plethora of condiments to choose from! I can agree that the food was fairly cheap but I have had much better food for the same price; it sucks that casinos are so expensive and they usually fail to deliver food that measures up to the price(except for Roxy’s which is also located in the Eldorado which is attatched to the Silver Legacy: check out my review!) My suggestion… don’t go here unless you are desperate. If you want to check out some more of my reviews visit my blog Biggest Little City Eats at:

Yes this is a food court, however I’m basing this review solely on the ‘Asian cuisine’ & the Asian cuisine alone. Yes the menu is relatively small, however you’ll quickly see that this isn’t your ‘typical’, run of the mill Asian Fast food.(which it ain’t) It’s Fresh, made to order Chinese Food smack-dab in the middle of the Silver Legacy… Have tried the Broccoli Beef, Sweet ‘n’ Sour Chicken, Chicken Curry, Szechwan Chicken, etc… ALL Damn Good…(super fresh ingredients/veggies, etc…) Shrimp Fried Rice is some of the best I’ve had, regardless of location… Gave the wonton soup a shot too which was made with flavorful stock & the wontons themselves were delish…(not soggy, held up well, etc…) Regardless of what you select, it’s made to order by ‘Authentic’ chef’s(you’ll see what I mean) with fresh ingredients plucked/gathered into a bowl & immediately cooked right before your very eyes on massive Wok’s spitting fire like dragon’s breath… The remainder of the non-asian food court is pretty mediocre/standard, however I haven’t gone wrong with any of the Asian dishes & have been a frequent customer at this hole-in-the-wall hidden gem for years…

Nowhere else can you get a prime rib and lobster dinner for $ 14.99 or breakfast platter for $ 2.99. Fuckin A!!! Burgers and pizzas are also delicious and cheap. Brad, the master behind the grill, is efficient and so nice! Tip generously please. He works hard! But, don’t let the Asian cook behind the counter fool you. Do not order the phở, noodles, chow fun, chow mein, etc. You will be supremely disappointed. Sure, it looks and smells delicious. But, it’s really not. DONOTGOANYWHEREELSEFORYOURDININGNEEDS! Avoid Café Sedona and all those other overpriced restaurants.

Woohoo first review! Sadly, this will be a review for the crappiest place I ate at in Reno. I wasn’t expecting much from a casino, but somehow my hopes went up when I saw that the two chefs in the Asian part of the restaurant were actually… Asian! There is a wide selection of dishes that actually can’t be found at any other Chinese fast food place. Props for that. The whole restaurant itself also has American food and I believe Mexican, but I don’t quite remember. Anyway, back to the food. All of the ingredients are already prepared and are out for the chefs to use, sort of like at Subway. One guy puts it all together, and the other cooks it. I ordered the Cashew & Almond Chicken, which also had some vegetables with it and came with some rice. The first chef put everything together and gave it to another guy to cook. However, he threw it in the wok, let it warm up for 30 seconds, and thew it on the plate. I was expecting some actual cooking. Maybe some soy sauce? Garlic? Any spices? Nope, nothing. After trying the dish, I almost didn’t want to eat it anymore, but I had no choice. The nuts were plentiful, which I enjoyed *that’s what she said*. However, the whole dish was just ridiculously bland and tasteless. There actually wasn’t that much chicken and the vegetables consisted a large portion of the dish. A cheap place on the bottom floor of a Reno casino. I didn’t expect much in the first place, but any restaurant can do better, especially this one.
