Gamestop

I just had the BEST service at the Gamestop located in Meadowood mall. My twin brother wanted to purchase Xbox LIVE online for me for Christmas apparently one of the seasonal employees they’re sold him the wrong cards upon bringing it up to the management there, the manager Marvin accommodated us by hearing us out and even presented us with with FREE 1 year online subscription! I’ll do all my game shopping at this location! #daymade

Been coming to this location for a little over about a year now. There are Good and bads about stores, this store is nice but it does have some flaws dont get me wrong it is in a mall, and for the space that they are given they do what they can with what they have.
Now! 2 reasons why I enjoy this location is because of 2 members. Grant & Jen. Grant has been with GS for a while I remember meeting him up in Carson City. Jen ive known for a few months very friendly and they go out of their way to serve a customer to the fullest extent. Perfect Customer Service.
Now! 2 reasons I kinda not like this location is it is small, and some of the other staff kinda hover to much. I know they have a job to fulfill but once youve told a guest your specials and if they need anything you could give them time to browse but not hover over them.
But with the bads, the two staff who go beyond for customers make it a 5 star experience.

This is the only Gamestop in Reno that I go to. The staff is always nice and really knowledgeable and they have great suggestions for games. My husband and I always seem to spend 10 to 15 minutes talking to one or two of the staff members about games. It’s sad GameStop gets so much flak for the price of their games and their trade-​ins, but I can’t complain, they’ll literally take anything, and I’ve been playing games since the Atari 2600 and games have stayed relatively steady in price since then. So if you wanna complain about price, go get a job. I like the selection, I like the staff, and I especially like the new store layout!

I have been in before, but it was around Christmas-​time and the line was out the door so I left before anyone could help me find what I needed. Today I was on a mission to get a used copy of the Super Mario Bros for the Wii. First we went to Game Force and their Wii selection was awful as well as the service, so we drove to the mall. The assistant manager who helped us at Gamestop was excellent! He said they only had a new Super Mario, the price difference was a mere $ 5.00 and then sold me on it by describing in detail how fun the game was. Then he told us about a promotion they were running where you trade in a game and get the price of the game plus 50% toward a used game in the store. Since we didn’t have our used game to trade with us, he called over to the store closest to our house and stayed on hold for some time until he had the store secure a used Mario game for us. He was very helpful and funny. Thank you GameStop.
