Huong Forrest Photography

In the first month of our babies’ lives, we had a difficult time negotiating the needs and demands of twins and were certainly curious how a photographer would be able to shape our daughters into memories. Huong showed us it is possible with patience and heat.
Huong gave us a list of tips and preparations that would help the session run smoothly before our appointment. Also, Huong asked us if there were items that would be meaningful in pictures of our daughters making our session not feel manufactured and unique to us. We turned the heat up and waited for Huong.
The amiable Huong entered our battered, less-​than-​perfect home prepared for the challenge of photographing the two most beautiful girls she has had the opportunity to shoot (right Huong). She had props. She had wipes. She had a giant beanbag. She had time. With the heat up and the white noise on, our babies turned to clay. Huong carefully and purposefully shaped Stella and Lucy into pose after pose and shot after shot. It was amazing to see her in action and to recognize the special skill set Huong possesses while gently working with babies that mean so much to tired parents.
We also found Huong’s rates to be reasonable. While she is certainly not cheap, neither is the product we received. When previewing the prints we wanted to purchase the meticulous labor of her processing manifested. Beyond the time and talent of taking the pictures is the time and effort of fine-​tuning them for presentation. Perhaps this skill is where Huong shines best, or maybe it’s a tie: she’s a great photographer too.
I would like to say I want to have more babies so Huong take more pictures of our beautiful offspring, but I think I will wait until the black circles under my eyes go away. I don’t always allow people to take pictures of my children; when I do, I choose Designs by Huong.

We absolutely adore Huong and her work! She was able to capture amazing shots of my children, my pregnancy and then my newborn. She was so patient with my children and was able to bring out their personalities in the photographs. I will forever cherish the pictures I have from her.

Huong has been the greatest gift to our family. We are so blessed to work with her. She is the most professional, hard working and passionate individual… with talent beyond any photographer I have seen. the shoots are fun and she makes everyone feel comfortable. After a shoot, we wait around the computer for her to post her «sneak peeks»… Huong is like a part of our family now.
