I took my 11month old in and the staff and Dr. Miller were fantastic! They were so polite and gentle. I am so happy to have found this business. They truly are the best.

My son is autistic and very, very sensitive to noise and has a heighten fear of just about everything. His front baby tooth broke and sheared off. It damaged the other front tooth next to it. Both teeth needed pulling. I dreaded this because I knew my son would go berzerk. Dr. Miller was soooooo good! Yes, they gave him«happy juice» to calm his nerves and then a bubble gum scented nitris oxide mask to relax him. He gave him numbing shots and pulled teeth and my son got through it without a peep. I don’t suggest that all children need that kind of treatment, but I believe my son did. He has had to have a total of 5 baby teeth pulled since we started going to Dr. Miller and although he’s older now and not thrilled when he has to do things that hurt(like getting teeth pulled or shots from the doctor), this office knows how to work with all kinds of children. The good news is to this day my son has no fear of the dentist(like so many people I know). They make it comfortable and their patience is bottomless.

My fiancé took our 16 month old here for his first dental visit. $ 85 for the visit, which is to be expected but what was not to be expected is their SLYTACTICSUSEDONUNSUSPECTING people like my fiancé. When she went to pay the bill they tacked on another $ 100 for a teeth cleaning. She was not asked if this was ok to do let alone informed that there would be an additional $ 100. What 16 month old needs a teeth cleaning? Our son has been taught to and has been getting his teeth brushed since he had his first tooth. There is no way a toddler with 8 teeth in his head that he has had for 5 months needs a cleaning. We are small business owners without insurance and pay cash for all of our doctors visits. They more then likely do this all day long with people that have insurance and don’t pay for it out of their pocket. DONTGOHEREUNLESSYOUWANTTOBEOVERCHARGEDFORSERVICESYOURCHILDDOESNOTNEED!

I took my toddler son here last week. Kellie the hygensit was amazing with my son. She was so patient, so understanding, positive and really knew how to help my son feel comfortable. She explained all the steps of the cleaning to him and allowed him to touch the tools first so he wouldn’t be scared of them. Dr. Miller was fantastic too. He used a monkey doll and let my son examine the monkey’s teeth before he looked at my son’s teeth. They both went the extra mile to make sure my son had a good experience. As a parent I appreciated how Dr. Miller spoke to me with respect and took time to answer all my concerns and questions. We have been to another pediatric dentist in town, and I have to say this experience was worlds better. If your child has had a bad experience in the past and you need a dental practice that really knows how to make kids comfortable this is the one.

I went through the same exact experience at Dr. Miller as KP from Belmont. Except, I did not come back the 2nd time for more work. I let them do the cleaning, the exam, and refused the 360 x-rays. The list of dental work my 2.5 year old supposedly needed was ridiculous. I’m sorry, but I’m not a fool. I am now in the process of looking for a new pediatric dentist in Reno. Any recommendations?
