Junk King of Reno

Junk King was great at getting stuff I didn’t want anymore out of my house and yard. They were on time, easy to work with, and very fair on the price. Hopefully I don’t accumulate stuff that would cause me to use them again, but if I need junk hauled away I know who I am going to turn to first.

Our third garage space was getting overly cluttered with broken t.v.s and random junk. We found Junk King via Unilocal and called them on a Saturday and made an apt. For them to pick up our junk on that Monday. Shane and Craig came out from Junk King and hauled our junk away as planned. They were running late for our appt. but gave me a call to let me know and then gave another call to let me know when they were on their way. They were fast, courteous and even swept up afterwards when they got a little dirt on the road from their truck. For hauling junk away, it was a little pricey, they charge based on the amount of the load, but it helped that they offered a deal via Unilocal.If we ever need junk hauled away again, we will definitely use their service again.

I hired Junk King to remove trash from a property that I just sold. They were easy to communicate with, confirmed the appointment via email, called as requested when they were 20 minutes from the property and were pleasant & efficient.

I needed to clean my one acre property in Golden Valley before I sold it. I contact three companies, and considered doing it myself, by having Waste Management (WM) drop off a large trash container. Then I read about Junk King, I was pleasantly surprised to find Reno has a local Junk King. Unilocal reviewers gave it high praise, so I gave them a call. I must say, from the first contact with the representative taking my request for a bid to the final item being removed from my property, I was amazed. They performed beyond my expectations. Originally, I toured the property with them, they gave me a bid and they stuck to it. The cost was not that much more than having WM drop off a container and making me do all the work.
The three-​man crew was courteous, professional, efficient and hard-​working. They worked six hard hours in the heat of a summer day in Reno and preformed flawlessly. They were careful with removing items from the house and yard: they even swept up after themselves. The truck they used was brand-​spankin’ new and they all wore company t-​shirts. Even the neighbors were impressed. I had on-​hand sodas and a dozen bottles of cold water; I know it was greatly appreciated by the workers.
Not only were they great in their performance of cleaning my lot, they recycle a huge percentage (up to 60%) of the material they haul away; it does not go directly into a land fill. This idea alone is worthy of great praise in a day where more and more people are concerned where their trash ends up.
Cheers to a company that does great work, reduces waste and to be honest, they were very talented and skilled individuals. Junk King gets my vote!

I am so happy with these guys! They were polite, efficient and totally worth it! They even swept and raked the areas they worked in. I thought that was a nice touch. If I could give more stars I would!!! I highly recommend them!

I had to have about 1 ½ pickup loads removed from the house, and contacted Junk King based on the Unilocal reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. Setting the appointment was easy, the guys arrived on time, and were very courteous and professional. I will definitely be using them again in the future.
