K2 Engineering & Structural Design

I have been a contractor in Reno for over 20 years and have used these guys for the past 12. Their team has helped me with more than just the engineering side of building. They have years of experience in engineering AND design and it shows. Usually, engineers want to be compensated for every little change to the design because it’s more work for them. K2 takes a more comprehensive approach to the overall project and actually saved me time and money. They have a great rapport with the local building departments and my permit process time was cut drastically which saved me untold dollars because I could start my project AHEAD of schedule. Field changes were handled quickly and with a «No Problem» for a reply. I will not search any further than K2 for design, engineering and anything planning related. I know most of the quality builders in town and they use K2. Problem solved.

K2 engineered an add-​on to my existing home. They did a fantastic job in coming up with a design that met my needs & structurally was sound. It was not an easy request for what I was going for. I had nothing but a great experience in doing business with K2. The staff always returned my phone calls in a timely fashion & answered all my questions with a friendly, easy to work with voice. I highly recommend K2 for your engineering & structural design work.
