Lab

Over the last year, I’ve had a TON of blood work, so I’ve checked out a few lab places in town. This one is my favorite! Hands down! The 2 ladies that work here are super friendly, and very efficient! And best of all, they have never done a bad draw on me (well crap, I just jinxed myself). Most of the time I’m in and out in under 10 minutes with a small poke that I forget about in an hour! Other places you are waiting for an hour, surrounded by sick people, only to have the tech blow a vain.
If you are on a time crunch, they do offer appointments! I made one the first few times I needed blood work, but then stopped, they are so quick, it didn’t matter! But it’s good to know they have the option.
They have extended hours which is wonderful! My favorite time to go is Saturday morning! They are always empty! I’ve made it from my car, signed in, got 3 vials of blood drawn, and back to my car in under 5 minutes on Saturday mornings! Oh, no, you reading this, don’t start going on Saturday mornings! That’s my secret time… Just kidding… not really.
The staff is very friendly and always great with my little baby when I bring her with me. The lobby is always clean and tidy, and the back facility feels sterile and well taken care of! I’m never worried about catching diseases when I am there!
I honestly won’t ever go to another lab place in town, I love this one! The staff makes this lab corp the best!
Just be forewarned… this is at an entrance of a high school, so getting in and out during certain times of the day are nearly impossible! If you are unlucky enough to try and leave lab corp right all the kids are coming/​going, your best bet is turning right out of the lab corp parking lot, heading towards the school, go around the round about, then come back past lab corp to get to the light (I promise it will make sense when you are coming out of lab corp! Just remember… turn right!

Going to Lab Corp can be a really painful experience — literally and figuratively. However, this location seems to be just on the outside of the more «convenient» locations throughout town — because I have NEVER seen a line-​up of people they way I have seen at other locations.
I made my appointment for 9:30am on a Thursday. I showed up around 9:25 and right as I parked, I realized that I had left my lab orders at home. ARG! So, I ran in and told the staff that I had to run back home and grab my lab orders. They laughed when I called myself an idiot, and apologized for getting them off schedule. They were super sweet and told me it was no problem.
When I returned with my lab orders, they joked that I’m not the first person to do that. The tech had already signed me in, I went right back, blood drawn, and done! Fast, friendly, painless. What more could you want from a Lab Corp location?

Super friendly staff! Convenient online booking, little to no wait time. Quick pricks. If you have to get it done, this place is great… I don’t know what more I would want in a lab… fancy coffee or snacks for after for the people who had to fast? I should subtract a star, but I won’t, because nobody does that.
