They Lost my test results. And I could not get ahold of anyone in town or at the corporate office who cared or did anything about it, don’t go here if you can get away with it.

This is my second visit to this Labcorp location. The website where you can go to book an appointment(although appointments are not required) gives very specific instructions on what to bring and states that providing all information online will save time so you do not have to do it at the office. Apparently the employees do not trust the computer system. They required everyone to fill out paperwork even though all of us had completed it online. The front desk person said that it often does not get transferred correctly so papers are needed anyway. This office location is dirty. There are used tissues, old paper coffee cups, and cotton on the floor in the waiting area. The carpet is coming apart at the seams with loose fiber that could pose a tripping hazard for elderly or compromised patients. There is a small screen TV in the lobby with actual antenna which I haven’t seen in decades. The employees, who seem efficient, do not seem at all concerned about being courteous or extending themselves in the name of patient care. On both visits I had the same rather unfriendly and abrupt front desk experience. A little training and management at the front desk could make this a much more pleasant experience. It doesn’t cost a thing to greet people pleasantly and answer questions patiently and kindly. I watched several people go in and all were dealt with in the same way. The employees seem pretty unhappy. Once you actually get to the blood draw, the very same employees are kind and friendly! You know that Labcorp as a company has the money to replace the torn carpet that is a tripping hazard to elderly people. A small investment in the environment would be a huge help.
