How can this location differ so much from the location in South Reno? We stopped in for a late breakfast on a Friday. I didn’t think they would be too busy, but I was wrong on that account. This place was slammed! We were seated in the back by the bathrooms(see Paul S.‘s review from 2012 to see how awesome that was). This area is really too small to have that many tables in it. I understand they are busy and trying to cram as many people as possible, but I was stacking items on our table to have enough room for my plate. Jason ordered the chicken fried steak and I had their California Benedict. Jason was fairly happy with his meal, although the coffee was really watered down. I’ve had the California Benedict at the South Reno location, but here it just wasn’t good at all. The toast was burnt to a crisp which made it impossible to cut without a steak knife. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the avocado was really old and brown and the benedict sauce itself tasted old. In the future, I’ll stick to the location in South Reno.

Amazing! Came to Reno for a family get away and I Unilocaled this place and it was everything and more! We were absolutely pleased! This is now and forever going to be our breakfast go to in Reno! Gotta call and make reservations before! Cause there will be a wait! It’s that good! Kinda tight seating and parking was confusing at first but none the less it’s a gem!

Finally made it to the Midtown Reno(original) location and much like the South Reno location… ITISDABOMB! Other than the Wet Hen Café this is probably my favorite place for breakfast in Reno. This place is small and usually very crowded at any time, even if you get there early. The food is scrumptious and the staff is very friendly and attentive. This place has a lot of hype and its well worth it. There is a parking structure and Pegs will validate, which is good for an hour.
