I am going to revisit this review after I make another trip to the store.. The food is always good here. Customer service is ridiculous at this location and I have rolled with it for about 10 visits now. The employees are smart asses and say sarcastic things to and around customers. My last visit the guy behind the counter was unhappy with the order in which I was having him make my sandwich and he was clear about it… He was also using profanity with the employees around him. I’m over it… Got ahold of the cooperate DM today so that he could reach out to the franchisee.

Gave this location another chance, wrong choice. Prices went up, no combos anymore. Kid behind the counter kept screwing up our order. If I order a hot pastrami it should be hot, the prices are not worth it 3 drinks, 2 chips a large pastrami and a medium #5 $ 30.00. Folks I can’t wait for yogis to come up here on this side of town and if you want a great sandwich and a nice drive hit up U.S. sub Base in Carson. Last time coming to this location.

Normally the service is great at this location. Lately, though, there has been an employee named Ben making visits here not so pleasant. Be he the manager or the owner(he acts like it) he gives terrible customer service. He isn’t polite to his customers. He speaks in such a condescending manner to us. This afternoon he gave a customer attitude because he decided to have his sandwich grilled after there was already mayo and mustard on it. I understand the reasoning, but there is a nice way to speak to people. After his salmonella speech, he proceeded to answer the phone while he was wearing his glove. Yes, he handled food afterward. I couldn’t take it after that. I’ve already had a horrendous experience at the Stead location and now this location.

Well, I’ve been coming here lately because I’ve been craving their sandwiches. I live in golden valley so this is a close location for me. I’ve had a great experience a few times, but when it’s the girl with the colorful dangley things in her hair, she’s a tad rude. I asked her for some soup and she said that wasn’t her department. Oh my god sorry for asking for soup when I knew it wasn’t in her department. What’s your department? Ok then relay the message to the guy at the end. How the fuck am I supposed to know that’s not her department. Excuse my French. I told her all the regs. example lettuce, tomato, onion, and all the shakers. And she said, «uhm, we do the peppers and pickles first.» Well Bitch I didn’t want the fing pickles or peppers. That’s why I said all the regulars. Really? Freaking A! Hope this review was more humorous, but I think I’ll go on the days she’s not there or go to the other location in stead blvd.

Go to the one in Stead, instead of this one, the sandwiches are the same, but I have a problem with people who act like they are doing you a favor, by letting you spend your money in their store. Heaven forbid that you make the mistake of ordering one of the condiments, out of order or before they ask you, apparently, they can’t remember more than 2 or 3 things at a time, and scold you if you speak before you are spoken to. They so called Manager is the worst of the bunch.

Although the Port of Subs brand offers a stellar product, this store falls flat on its face with poorly trained employees and terrible customer service. The employees at this store focus more on BS’ing with each other than focusing on the job at hand. Don’t order the lettuce-wrap — they’ll either tell you they don’t know how to make it or they’ll leave you with a poorly wrapped nightmare. On my latest visit myself and another guest were incorrectly charged at the register — BACK to BACK — because the employees lack any sort of professionalism and cannot pay attention to the service they’re providing. If I owned or managed this place I would be appalled by the way my store and brand were being represented. Do yourself a favor — skip this store. If you need food in the North Valleys area there are better options.
