Project Discovery

Absolutely AMAZING! We booked our son’s 9^th birthday party through Project Discovery and it was more than we even imagined it would be! This truly just isn’t another ropes course or zip lining facility. They are focused on team building, problem solving, and having the best time while doing it all! We had 20 kids ranging in age from 8 — 10 and Mark our faciliator went above and beyond to make sure all the kids had a great experience. Wrangling 20 kids for four hours is a talent in and of itself, but to teach them life skills and problem solving techniques while participating in each challenge gave them a ALL STAR RATING in my book!
We brought in pizza, snacks, and cookies for the birthday party and then Mark and Cannon took the kids after for four full hours of outdoor adventure. Even after our four hour window was done, Mark and Cannon said they would stay a little longer to help some of the kids climb higher on the ropes course. That is definitely going above and beyond!
It’s such a beautiful area and all the equipment is in great shape. They pay attention to all the safety guidelines and make sure everybody knows what the rules are before starting a new challenge. Safety is of utmost importance which as a Mom makes me so happy! Having 20 daredevils (boys) wanting to swing from every tree top, can make one very nervous! :)
I would absolutely recommend Project Discovery to all my friends and family as well as co-​workers. This is a great facility for birthday parties, team building, sports team building, or just having fun for an afternoon with your friends! We’ll definitely be booking again in the future!

The staff members at Project Discovery are awesome! I have taken the TMCC Student Government students here two years in a row and each year they learn, grow, gain confidence in themselves, learn to trust each other, and overall are a stronger team. This is their favorite part of training and request to go each year. The staff at Project Discovery is safe, professional, and so good at what they do. Thank you for two years of great trainings, my students are looking forward to many more!

The ropes course was an amazing experience. I have been trying to explain it to other coaches. Next year will be my 15^th year coaching either Varsity or Community College Basketball and I can honestly say that I have never done something that with my teams:
A. Forces the boy’s to communicate to be successful and because they are a naturally competitive group they will communicate to get try and be successful.
B. Forced some of them to face some of their fears in a safe environment.
C. Was collaborative and was sure to reflect upon their learning experiences together.
D. Was all of the things above while having fun! A lot of fun!
* Project Discovery was the best team building/​bonding event I have ever encountered for one of our teams and we plan to be regular attendees from here on out.
*I believe project discovery ropes course could be great for a youth team or a cooperate event as the principles translate to to building and running effective teams. As a manager I want a team to be effective communicators that are able to problem solve and collaborate in any type of environment. This ropes course truly builds and helps people refine those skills. It is just different than anything you have done with your group before.

This is not just another ropes course. Project Discovery puts the emphasis on team development and group dynamics. Instructors guide groups through a series of challenges until they are ready to safely approach the large elements. Project Discovery is certainly fun, but more importantly people who participate in the course come away with useful tools and lessons that they can use in their lives.

I work for an organization that has contracted with Project Discovery for 12 years. We LOVE working with Project Discovery. Not only is it a gorgeous facility with state-​of-​the-​art ropes course equipment and a high standard for safety and risk management, but the staff are truly talented facilitators. Our high school participants have transformational experiences at Project Discovery every time! I, personally, and our organization as a whole, highly recommend Project Discovery.

I participated in a team-​building adventure experience with Project Discovery which included a ropes course. The staff did a great job at leading the group through greater and greater challenges. We started out on the ground with simple exercises and built towards tree-​top adventures. My favorite experience was watching a woman in our group who was afraid of heights take the Leap of Faith by jumping from a tree-​top platform to grab a trapeze bar that was suspended a few feet away. The instructors had done such a good job at building her trust in the group and the experience that she was able to conquer her fear and leap.
Overall, a wonderful experience!
