This hotel does the job, especially when GSR is sold out and your trip is already planned… It was pretty cheap, less than $ 130 for two nights. There were a lot of downsides such as parking, extremely thin walls, and cleanliness. When we came back late at night there we nooooo parking whatsoever, some people had to park on the street or in the back which is kind of scary… About the thin walls… while trying to sleep, you can hear what everyone is doing next door, there was a full on party across the hall, and people getting freaky next door lol ITWAS5AM…

All Quality Inn stays are deprived of quality management, I have stayed at a few and will never stay at any of the chains any longer, yes they are cheaper than the average area hotels, but at a cost to you. If you do not mind having to park on the street because this location shares a parking lot with another motel on the lot, don’t mind paying an average of $ 70 per night, but getting a room where the lights are as dim as candles, nonoperational coffee maker and an out of order refrigerator and other items not fixed before you check into your room, then by all means, book your stay with them. I will pay more to stay at the other 4 star hotels where you sure will get what you paid for!

It looks decent from the outside, but it’s rundown from the inside, the hallways smell really bad. Like Asian food gone bad. Kind of like old stale ramen noodles. I don’t know if everyone is making food in their rooms or what, but it stank. It looked like a jail once you got out of the main lobby. So let me break a few things down. We were driving from Utah to SF, decided to stay here for the night. I choose this property because i needed pet friendly, free breakfast and free wifi. The good — — pet friendly — gal at the front desk in the evening had great customer service The Bad — Parking — really packed not much parking Wifi — constantly down. I couldn’t connect to it. I needed the wifi because I had to work in the morning. The gal at the front desk was awesome and allowed me to go into other rooms to see if I could connect in other areas. I found a room she switched us. Unfortunately the connection didn’t last that long and I couldn’t connect anymore. Thus losing my work… and losing money. Room — run down and dirty(see pics) I didn’t even want to take my shoes off. Free breakfast — horrible… Just nasty, I threw it out. Hallways — grimy and dirty and stinky I know this isn’t Hyatt or Hilton, and I have stayed at many low budget hotels, but at least their stuff worked and rooms and hallways were clean. This place was sooo bad. Never again will I stay here.

To the naked eye, this place is probably two or three stars. But this hotel has a lot to offer! However, I’m going to throw a few negatives out there. First, I’m not a fan of the neighborhood. I didn’t feel unsafe, but it was slightly run down. Another slight to the hotel is that it looks really nice on the outside, but it’s somewhat dated. And now for the fantastic positives… First, you can’t go wrong with the price. This is a veeeeeery reasonable deal. Second, the place offers free breakfast that includes everything from waffles, eggs, and sausage, to your standard cereal and yogurt. Third, the hotel offers a shuttle to four places — Grand Sierra Resort, downtown Reno, the Reno airport, and Renown(nearby hospital). Fourth, Quality Inn offers accommodations that are very comfortable for the price. If I were to return to Reno, I’d consider staying here again as it helped my trip go off without a hitch.

All I wanted was to check in and go shower get a good night rest, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. The parking is horrible, was a long wait for check in and not only that the beds are very uncomfortable squeaky and really hard. According to website beds are pillow top well nothing about these beds was comfy I felt like sleeping I’m my car would have been more comfortable. This is the worst discomfort I have ever had in a hotel. Best part about this place was the breakfast, but I will not ever stay at this particular location again.

What a DUMP! Thank God I only had to stay here for one night. The place is in a bad area — twice I had panhandlers ask me for money and one became hostile towards me. The hallways are very dark, the room was not very clean and it smelled bad. All that and it still cost as much as the nice hotels in town. I’d give ZERO stars if that were an option.
