Renown Health X-Ray & Imaging – S McCarran

I would give zero stars if I could. My husband and I went there Jan. 16^th at 11: am for a chest and knee x-​ray. Unfortunately, I chose the only imaging office with a table that did not lower. (It would help immensely if their brochure noted which tables lower.) I’m in a wheelchair, so the chest x-​ray was no problem, but getting onto the table was a major issue, and my husband and the technician had to help me get onto the table, a roll around to take the knee x-​ray. It didn’t help that the pad on the table wasn’t connected to the table, and wasn’t stable at all.
It was a major ordeal, and was extremely embrassing for me. My husband could see the technician, every time she went out of the room to take the x-​ray, and she was rolling her eyes, making faces, and saying stuff to her co-​worker, she even walked over to her at one point to say something to her, about me and having to maneuver me on the table.
My husband was really pissed, but he didn’t say anything. To make matters worse, when I had to roll over on my side, I had to move my other leg over my sore knee, and she grabbed my leg, and moved it. I have bursitis in both my hips, and she treated my like a piece of meat, and it hurt so bad, I cried out two or three times, and other people in the facility heard me. They commented on in later when I was getting down off the table.
When I was leaving, I said «I“m sorry I was such a bother.» and she said, in the sticky sweet voice imaginable,“Oh you were no bother.” She was so fake, I wanted to puke, especially after my husband told me what was going on behind my back. I will never go to this facility again, and if you’re handicapped, run the other way.
I don’t know the technician’s name, because she had her name and picture covered up on her badge, (gee, I wonder why), but she was slender, not too tall, with very short, dark hair, and she was wearing blue scrubs the day I was there. By the way, the staff out front was very helpful, pleasant, and nice, it was only this *$()# in the back that ruined the experience. And the next day, I was so sore from her manhandling I could barely move. This imaging place is a joke if you’re anything but average, so make another choice.
