I love the superior service I receive each time I walk into this sephora! The staff asks me questions to ensure they are finding exactly what product(s) will meet my needs! Free samples, great educational information, and a fun atmosphere! I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out with my black and white bag!!! :)

The staff here is remote and seemingly busy, with something, else I prefer Ulta on S. Virginia St since there is a more down to earth approach with an excellent and well priced selection available. I was not happy visiting this store with its gloomy atmosphere. Go to Ulta as the staff is kinder; especially the skincare leader.

I struggled with the star-rating for this business, but I want to give it a four because of the employees I worked with. I signed up for a 45-minute makeup consultation as a way to investigate options for a new makeup look. I’m not super girly and I don’t generally wear much(if any) makeup, so I wanted to talk to someone to get a quick, natural, 10-minute daily routine. I stated as much both in my online submission and when I met with Alyssa. I liked Alyssa, and I think that she did a good job. I think she did a *great* job in selling makeup. Where I don’t think she did as great of a job was in listening to what I wanted. I left the store having no less than 12 products on my face. It took her 30 minutes to do my makeup, which is definitely not a 10-minute routine for a makeup novice. It took three Neutrogena makeup wipes to get all of it off me. What I like is that she did give me verbal instructions and tips on how to achieve the look she was creating. She tried out options on my face(e.g., contouring), that she recognized were things I wouldn’t do but that she just wanted to give me an idea of what they would look like should I go that route. She was super friendly and chatty, and didn’t pressure me to buy anything specific(though obviously she has product preferences and she shared those with me). Sephora seems pretty expensive, but that’s probably just because of my inexperience(the husband didn’t seem too shocked). The cashier was super friendly and signed me up for the buyer’s program and all that, gave me some samples, and explained how everything worked. I definitely think I’ll go back to Sephora for makeup, though I’m not sure if I’m looking for a consultation this is where I’ll go.

I love this Sephora compare Sephora at JC Penney. This store is my favorite place to buy some girly stuff. Beauty associates are always friendly and helpful. This Sephora has many more choices. I like their return policy too. The price are depends on what kind of stuff you are looking for to buy. Before buying new stuff usually I prefer asking for a sample so I don’t have to return after I use it. For member they’ve some reward or event like last weekend. Pretty cool with some special discounts.

I love the store itself but the staff could use some improvement. I wasn’t even acknowledged when I walked through the door. I slowly paced around looking for someone who could help me out with a couple questions I had. After about 10 minutes I went to the cashier and asked if she could grab someone to assist me. The only reason why I’m giving this place three stars and not two is because of the friendly cashier that walked me through store pointing out some products and helpful tips. I’ve never felt so invisible in a makeup store; next time I’ll be going to Ulta instead.

This is the only place I go for my make-up and skincare needs! Huge variety of different brands and products for you to choose from and the ladies there are extremely nice and helpful. They go above and beyond to help you find the best make-up for your skin, so you don’t have to worry about looking like a circus clown! Their prices are average on what you would expect for quality make-up and if you buy a product and decide later it isn’t suitable for you, you can return it with no questions asked! If you are hesitant to pay full price for a product, ask for a sample whether it be foundation, lotion, or face wash, they give you enough to try several times to make sure it is something you love before you shell out your hard, earned money! Convenient location and parking, and flexible hours making it accessible no matter what your schedule may be.

I LOVE Sephora so this review is not about the whole brand but about this specific store. It really frustrates me that they don’t open until 11am on Sunday– even during the holiday. Most malls open at 10am so having to wait an extra hour just seems so late. When I do get to this store right at 11:00 they are extremely overstaffed. I don’t mind help(actually enjoy it– will write about it in the next paragraph) however when you have 5 different people come up and offer you help it get seems like overkill. The nice things about the store is that they seem to consistently have strong inventory– they’ve never been out of something I need which I like. Also, when I do want someone to help me they are FANTASTIC! For example, two weeks ago I really wanted to try out purple lipstick– a woman helped me and we tried on 4 – 5 different options before I found what I liked. She was awesome with offering suggestions and when I was struggling with application she helped me there too. Unfortunately the fact that they do not open until 11 am makes this review a 3 star, not a 4 star, review. When I was there on Sunday this past weekend there were 5 people that entered the store right at 11am which makes me think that I’m not the only person who wishes they were open at 10am.

Super friendly service, especially from the German lady that works there. Great selection of makeup and high end cosmetics in general. Perfect location at the outdoor Summit Sierra shopping center at Galena. They even offer complementary makeup makeover. Pretty generous with samples of product. Recommended!

What is there to say about Sephora? The makeup artists are friendly and knowledgeable. They are attentive and there is always one around to make sure you have your questions answered. The store speaks for itself. Always clinically clean and bright. Products are great and I love that I can get high end product here. The only thing that would make Sephora perfect is if they had another location closer to Sparks. I know there is one in JC Penney but it does not sell hair product. I love their X factor brand of gel-like nail polish. It is by fat the best«gel» product that I have tried without having to use a UV lamp. If you haven’t tried it and you want to do your own nails I suggest you do so.

Whenever I need a new foundation this is my place. They now have a computer program that take 3 pictures of your skin at different places one on your cheek, neck and forehead. Then lets you choose your desired coverage, choice of foundation liquid or powder, and how much you are willing to spend. In a few seconds it lets you know which brands have a color that will match your skin. It is pretty cool, that you don’t have to try six different shades on your face to find one that looks like it matches. I settled on a heavier coverage Dior foundation. A little pricey at 48.00 a bottle, but well worth it. I only need 2 small dots of foundation to cover my face. I always get good service here. That has never been a problem. Yes, this place is pricey, but they sell high end quality makeup.

Makeup is a huge interest and hobby of mine so Sephora is one of my favorite stores. Usually I shop on their website, but if I need to be color matched to something and have to pick up samples to try out before I commit, I gotta come to the store. Unfortunately, whenever I have gone to this particular Sephora, there is not a soul to be found. When someone does finally show up, they seem really standoffish and not personable. This Sephora used to be the only Sephora in town, but now there is a Sephora inside JCPenney in the Meadowood Mall! So the only reason to go here is if you’re looking for higher-end brands that SiJCP doesn’t carry(Laura Mercier, Givenchy, Guerlain, YSL, etc.)

Ohhhh, I’ve shopped here many a time. I love Sephora with all my heart, and for good reason, too. Upon walking in, I have always been greeted with a hello, and have been asked if I need any assistance locating anything. Often times I go there with the product I want in mind, so I usually don’t need help. However, when I have gone to browse, I either get great assistance with any questions I have, or I’m asked at least 4 times if I’m finding everything okay. Hey, that’s better than not being recognized at all. Maybe it’s annoying for some patrons, but I’ve grown to appreciate the attention nonetheless. I am always so happy with my trips to Sephora. Obviously I’ll continue to visit in the future with it being so close to my home. Plus, what’s not to love about the rewards program + samples with every purchase? I hope they continue to give free samples of products because 1. I’d hate to see people abuse it and they discontinue doing it and 2. Cosmetics are often tricky to find the«right» one for you, so trying before you buy is the way to go. I love thee greatness that is Sephora.

The customer service is lacking in this store! An older woman that was working the register needs to learn some people skills! I waited at the register for several mintues, and then she offered to help a custom that was at the register after me. When I proceeded to ask her a simple question, she was very rude to me. So I set down my items(I was ready to spend about $ 100 dollars maybe a little over) and I walked out! She was probably around 60 years old, I guess I would have an attitude too, if I were her age and working at sephora.
