Michon is wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone — new to the area or wanting a change of stylist — Michon really listens to your needs to ensure you leave with the look you desire. She is personable, professional, and talented, and not only takes classes, but teaches classes, keeping her on top of the latest techniques and products. Want a new look? She’s all up for that too! I searched for 3 months for a new stylist, and the wait was totally worth it. My daughter and son go here now, too, and they are very happy. Michon is exceptional when it comes to color selection, strategically placing high and low lights for just the right look. Her hospitality is welcoming and genuine — whether you’re in need of a fresh cup of coffee (keurig), tea, wine, chocolates and more, she makes sure you’re comfortable, right down to playing your favorite music.

My first appointment with Michon After moving to Reno, I tried one high end salon and was not happy with the results. I continued to drive «home» every 6 weeks (a 4.5 hr drive) to get my hair colored. After returning from my last appointment I knew I needed to find someone in Reno. I searched Unilocal and a general search and Michon’s name came up in the top 5 each time. Her salon is so nice and comfortable and personal. She took the time to figure out my color and hair type. I am so pleased with the results and have booked another appointment. I hope to enjoy her other specialties like manicures and facials very soon.

I“m from out of town and needed a good eyebrow wax. Michon was great! The place is nice, she is professional, and I’d only go to her if I lived in town. I left a very happy customer!

I went to Michon to get a facial to keep myself young and pretty :) Thing is, I love a facial, but hate all the associated BS. Just give me the chemicals, wipe it off and away I go. Prettier than when I showed up hopefully.
Well, lets just say I am one handsome fella and no BS attached thanks to Michon. She took care of me according to what I wanted. Better yet, she didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Heck, she didn’t charge me and arm OR a leg. Very reasonable, very attentive and very good. I cannot recommend Michon enough.

I’ve been following Michon around for years now and this by far is the best yet! Beautiful, comfortable salon, easy location and adorable smartly priced gift shop at the front of the salon.
My cuts are always great and Michon is always available if I need extra help. This last visit, I had my nails done while my color set. In just less than two hours, I had my cut, color and nails done.

I love Michon! My Grandson used to refuse to get his hair cut. It was always hanging in his face, unkempt and I teased him I didn’t even know what color his eyes were. Finally I convinced him to go to Michon to get his hair styled. She was conservative the first time so as not to scare him away :) The next time he went he actually wanted it cut shorter! I was thrilled. Now he looks like the great handsome man I always knew he was — but no one could see his face! Thanks Michon for being considerate to his wishes and taking it slow. We’ll both see you this Tuesday for our appointments.

I came to Reno in 2006 and after having the same hair stylist for 18 years was a little nervous about starting over. I landed in Michon’s chair and WOW, I couldn’t be happier. I’ve always liked Michon’s attitude, and caringness towards my style and color. She always goes the extra mile to make her salon a comfortable place to be.
