This past week was my turn to provide food for our weekly get together with friends. We had it narrowed down to Chinese or Mexican so I chose Los 3 Toritos. I’m not sure where I first heard about it but it had been on my radar for quite some time. I sent pictures of the menu to my friends and got their orders. I went with just a cheese quesadilla and an asada enchilada. Other orders included 4 different kinds of tacos(asada, carnitas, al pastor, and pollo), Nachos with guacamole, and a chicken enchilada combo. The food was hot and delicious. The carne asada in my enchilada had good flavor and my quesadilla was pretty big with ample filling. The chicken enchilada combo was still so hot when I arrived that mine friend commented that it was still too hot! I thought that was a great testament to the freshness of their food and that they make evrything to order. I will definitely go back.

A small restaurant that doesn’t look like much, but man oh man is this place a gem! Great Mexican food. Authentic and delicious ingredients. Fair prices. My ONLY complaint is that they have changed their gaucamole, and it just not what it was before. If the gaucamole had remained that wonderful, thick, moderately spicy, hand crafted fantasticness that it used to be, this would he a hands down 5 star review.

Service was fine, but the food was just OK. Chalk it up to personal preference maybe(because they have a lot of decent reviews from others) but I guess this place just isn’t my style of Mexican food. It was, to me, bland and pretty flavorless. I ordered the small burrito(chicken) with enchilada combo, and a beef crispy taco on the side. None of the food I tried really made me go «yum!» I hate to give only two stars to a local business, but I won’t be back; the food just wasn’t something to get excited over. IMHO.

This is the home of my favorite tacos in the Reno/Sparks area. The nacho fries are also fantastic if you’re feeling like a fatty, or you’re sharing. The service is always prompt and friendly, and I have always been happy with the food. It’s a welcoming environment with your traditional Mexican fare. Definitely worth the trip. And they don’t care if you bring in your bicycle, so that’s a plus for me!

Go to place for burrito fix. Cons: Not always consistent with their rice/meat ratio, but above and beyond any other place around. Pros: Clean, Fast & Yummy, Reasonable prices

Best Mexican take out in town! The burritos are full and tasty. Love the Al Pastor in just about anything. With all the menu options, you can’t go wrong. The service is great. Never are in the place, always had take out.

Great prices. Great food. Haven’t tried anything I didn’t like. One of my fav go to mexican food spots in Reno. Fast service and even a drive thru! The salsa is amazing.

Went back and the salsa all tasted too smoky and the food wasn’t as hot. It was still good, but didn’t seem nearly as teriff as the last time.

I have only tried the chicken wet burrito with rice and beans for $ 7 and it was the worst money I have ever spent on rice! Hardly any meat in the burrito, mainly rice, 1⁄3 of the way through I had to take the tortilla away and pick out the meat. Not to mention I ate it with plastic ware so a plastic knife was needed, not a good experience and I will not be back

We love this place. GREAT food GREAT prices. Lunch specials(Mon-Friday) are a great price. Super clean place. Very friendly cashier who is always happy to see us. Food is fresh. I have had many menu items and liked all of them. Highly recommend this place if you like real Mexican food.

Good Mexican food at a great price. I tried to go to another Mexican place before I decided to come here. I am very happy that I came here. First, the place was very clean. You can tell from the décor that this was once a Del Taco, I have eaten here back then. Now it is much better than Del Taco. The menu was nice, good selection. Service was fast food like. You go to the counter order and pay. They have a salsa bar your choice red or green with radishes and some other veggies. The food was good, just not great. I had the 4 taco(pastor meat) combo with re-fired beans and rice. The beans were a little runny, the rice was good, and the Pastor meat was a little greasy. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will be back to try something else.
