Every time I walk in, I get the overwhelming feeling to redecorate my house!!! The niche has so many darling things for your home! And the clothing! Oh the clothing! Whoever is the buyer for this place has the best style ever! Anytime I need a unique piece to complete an outfit, this is the first place I go! And then there is the gift section!!! If I need a fun birthday gift, or find themed gifts for Bunco, this is my go to place! I love the niche! It’s always filed with interesting items! The only downfall is that every time I come out of the niche, I have spent way to much money! But my house is always looking fabulous!

This is by FAR my favorite clothing boutique in all of Reno. What girl doesn’t love shopping, and better yet shopping locally. It is a win win. I love the fact that they have clothes and great home stuff as well. I am addicted to this place! It has gotten so bad that I even shop here on my lunch break. I just can’t get enough. The employees are always friendly and offer to help you find just what you are looking for. If you are looking for cute, reasonably priced, and unique clothing then this place is for you.

Love this place! The staff is wonderful and act as your personal shopper there. Make sure you sign up for their newsletter because every month they will send you a coupon for a weekend during the month. They come in handy when buying jeans!

What a Very cute store, very cute clothing I brought a friend because I thought she would like the clothing, I am plus size so I knew there would be nothing for me but thought she might find what she was looking for there. I have never felt so unwelcome from the time I walk in a store before. The person working seemed more interested in what was going on with her phone than me as a customer. We were NEVER asked once if she could help us. I would like to note that my friend did find something she wanted to get but due to the service we just walked out.

They have beautiful sparkley clothes, a good selection of jeans and rustic unique décor. I love the new location in the Reno Costco shopping center, and it’s set up really well. Prices are really reasonable for the high quality clothes and they have such a neat collection of household décor. I would highly recommend this boutique, and I can’t wait till it comes to Sparks

I disagree that the Niche is expensive, when you go into women’s boutiques you can rarely find anything other than a keychain under $ 40. 90 percent of the Niche’s tops are less than $ 40 and cute designer jeans are under $ 100. The Niche also has pretty unique things that aren’t mainstream name brands which is important to me. Their home stuff is shabby chic like and moderately priced. Their inventory is far from junkie and is priced accordingly. The staff is always very helpful and they usually have all sizes in stock and it never has the picked-thru vibe. I love the Niche for something different that isint going to break the bank.

I love this place. It’s funky and fun to find pieces among the crammed style of the store. If searching every corner isn’t your thing, this store isn’t for you. But I can spend an hour in The Niche and I always find something that fits my décor. The clothes are quite expensive and being a gal with extra curves, they don’t fit me anyway. The staff are always super nice and helpful. The prices vary widely on all items. Definitely a plus for Reno shoppers!

It was an idea someone had to come up with eventually: shopping for clothes is fun, and shopping for home stuff is fun, so wouldn’t a shop that had clothes AND home stuff be twice as much fun? I’m not sure that the math really works, but The Niche is still a fun(and much-needed) addition to Reno shopping. Located in the side wing of the extremely un-hip Shoppers Square mall(where you can get your Western wear and your Hallmark collectibles), The Niche is conveniently close to the Coldstone Creamery, in case you want to add a little sugary bloat to your waistline before shopping. When you walk in, you’ll see rows of shirts hung on the wall to your left, and wall art and decorative tables crammed on the wall to your right. It’s kind of disorienting, and the feeling continues throughout the store, although the clothes tend to keep to one area(about one-third of the store) and the home décor takes up the rest. The home décor is tasteful, earth-toned, Tuscan– and Asian-influenced stuff, very much the kind of thing you’d see at Cost Plus or Pier One. Think«antique» wine and coffee signs, fleur-de-lis and floral patterns, and lots of decorative hammered-tin signs. The clothes are fairly cute, mostly tops and skirts with a vaguely edgy flair. Check out the screen-printed t-shirts that are deliberately printed over creases in the fabric to give a fragmented, artsy effect(around $ 35). The prices are a bit high, but the clearance rack has some good deals in the $ 10 – 15 range. So is it twice as fun to have two, two, two stores in one? Well… actually, it’s kind of confusing. I kept drifting back and forth from clothes to home décor, never quite sure what I was in the mood to look at, and couldn’t decide on anything in the end. It might just be sensory overload — in which case you’d just have to plan two separate shopping trips. With a stop for ice cream each time, of course.
