Dr. West is rather quiet. Unfortunately everything bad that can happen does happen to me and my surgery failed. There is a chance we can try again but I am not hesitant to allow him to do it. This was my body’s fault not the surgeons fault. I trust him. The silence from him can be deafening and sometimes downright scary but that’s just his was he’s a really!!! Nice man!

My septoplasty and turbinoplasty consultation was quick. I’m not sure I heard all of the risk factors for surgery, or the possible healing time frame (s). My surgery was successful, but my healing time feels like it has been inordinately long. At my follow up visit (3 months after surgery), Dr. West seemed surprised I was still experiencing certain healing problems. I didn’t get any information, however, to alert me that what I was experiencing was abnormal. Dr. West is pretty quiet. Make sure you have your list of questions with you – I wish I had been better prepared, or he would have shared more. 3 months is a long time to wait for a follow up visit. We’ll see how the rest of my healing plays out…

I agree Dr. West is a fabulous Dr. and both my children and my wife have been through surgery and normal ENT care with him.
The problem is his billing, business office. After 5 yrs of not seeing Dr. West we call his office to schedule a appt. for the wife and they schedule, take her in for an initial visit, reschedule her for a second visit to go over the tests from the first visit. My wife takes time off work to go to the Appt. only to be asked back in the billing office and told unless she pays a back payment from 2007 of $ 347 they will not be seeing her today. They apparently sent us to collections in 07′ yet we did not get any bills or collection notices from them, we offer to make payments on it and they refuse saying it was not there acct. anymore contact the collection agency. On top of which in 2008 with heavy economic pressures and lack of work we filed chp 7 and all collection debt was discharged.
I know they have the right to see who they want, but they could have told us in advance that this was an issue before scheduling the appt. and or called us to let us know they would not be seeing my wife so she did not have to take time off work only to be told go away.
This kind of office management only brings down the great work Dr. West does with his patients.

I can’t give Dr. West enough commendations. Dr. West has been my ENT doctor for the past year and has provided excellent care. He performed my tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy in April 2009. He explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. As an adult, the tonsillectomy recovery was painful, but Dr. West prepared me for that and prescribed adequate pain medication.
I’ve also had a nasal turbinate reduction procedure (somnoplasty) to address my chronic sinus infections. Again, Dr. West answered all of my questions and provided excellent care.
Dr. West continues to provide superb ENT treatment and is at the top of his field. I highly recommend him.
