Wow! I can’t believe I waited so long to come here. Recently I was in need of a very specific bottle of whiskey. I called multiple places and couldn’t really get my hands on it. As soon as I called Grapes and Grains they told me they would try to help me out. After taking my number, I got a call back within 15 minutes letting me know that not only had they ordered the whiskey, but it would arrive the next day! When I finally arrived at the store, I was greeted by two lovely ladies who were more than willing to assist me in finding some additional purchases. I’ve never felt such a level of customer service in a liquor store before. Even though the shop is a slight drive or of the way for me, I will be making this my go to spot for spirits and wine.

This store has a great selection of wines and cheerful and helpful service. It has ruined me for any other wine shop in the Capital region because no other place has such a varied selection of reasonably priced wines! I am not very sympathetic to people who complain about being asked to produce valid ID, which is after all, the law!

As far as wine & liquor stores go, this is one of my favorites. They have great prices and the staff is always very helpful. Often I go in looking for various liquors to bake with or a recommendation for a wine for a gift and they are able to give me a great recommendation that is not going to break the bank.
