I have been a client here for about a year and I am so impressed with this place. Rebecca gives a great massage and is so personable. She is very talented. I signed up with their monthly membership program and look forward to my massage each month.

This is only based on service. My assistant is a long standing client of this place and likes going here. She wanted to surprise me by buying their groupon deal and scheduling an appointment. Not knowing I had personal things that day, she realized she had to reschedule the appointment. At this point, I did not have any conversation with this company. I was just a passive/potential client who didn’t know who this company was. Finally, it’s the day of the appointment. I heard passively that it was rescheduled once but I had no idea when and when the notice was. I was driving from Seattle, and we hit traffic on the way in. I called before my appointment to let them know I may be coming late. They were pleasant and said it was fine. I then heard on the radio that the traffic was due because of a gentleman who had a heart attack on an on-ramp I was headed to and that the delays were long, so I called again. They explained that they couldn’t stay longer and I understood. They also said they couldn’t reschedule because it was my second reschedule. Frustrated, but understanding, I said it was fine. Shortly after, I realized how disappointing it would be to my assistant that she bought me a gift and it wasn’t used, so I called back, offering to pay for the lost service and reschedule. At that point, the call was very unpleasant. The woman reminded me over and over that I was basically black listed at that point, wouldn’t let me explain what had happened, etc. I was prepared to come to the place, pay for the missed appointment, make sure they were paid and the therapist was paid, then RESCHEDULE a completely different day. I understand the policy but if they have a client willing to pay full price to remedy the situation, what’s the loss? However, they felt compelled to make the entire conversation about how wrong I was and how there wasn’t anything they could do for me. I understand these types of policies and without knowing situations, places like this should avoid business from clients who can’t keep appointments but if I’m calling back, only on good will, to pay for the lost time and reschedule so I didn’t have to tell my assistant that the appointment and cost was a waste, would more could I do to make it right? Anyways, I agree that the cancellation policy was fine and I don’t mind them not holding the appointment. I do, however, have a huge problem with the fact I tried to make it right and all they cared about was proving to me that I was wrong and there was nothing I could do about it. That’s not typically the attitude or communication that sits well with a potential client, especially when I was referred by someone who visits this place. Anyways, I’m sure they do a fine job but based on the communication I received, I would rather pay more and see someone else. I’ve gone to Ummelina for years and this is just a good reminder that trying someone else that’s cheaper and closer to home doesn’t necessary mean it will be better.

What an incredible place! It was relaxing from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and warm and helped me comfortable. I will definitely return. I saw Kara for a 90 minute massage. It was wonderful. She was sweet and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend her. I can tell that she truly loves what she does and that she cares about each person she sees. Everyone should check out this wonderful business.

This place is great. I had two massages from Donna. She is professional, kind and really knows how to get the kinks out! I have felt like a new women each time I left. I am booking a 3rd appointment now! :) Thanks!
