Alliance 2020

I contacted Alliance 2020 about the process they go through and the services they provide and found them to be very informative and transparent. I’ve known a high-​ranking employee all my life, and I can tell you with certainty that this company ranks very high in terms of how it conducts business and the level of integrity in all their transactions is the highest.
This is very important in today’s environment of privacy concerns. When I sought to pursue screening of potential workers, regardless of my relationship, I was informed that I must first receive authorization from the potential worker to perform a background check — and although this was inconvenient as an employer, it only gave me further assurances in the high degree of ethical conduct they uphold. Clearly others who have provided Alliance 2020 poor ratings here on Unilocal are from people who are not telling the whole story.
I have done further research and found that Alliance 2020 is «accredited» by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners — here is the link:
Anyone considering to hire Alliance 2020 will find them to be prompt, professional, courteous and extremely competent. I’m very pleased to have checked them out thoroughly and look forward to using them for all my background screening needs.

Whew let me first off apologize for my extreme tardiness on writing my review. I had misplaced my basic information form with Kylie’s name on it. I most def wanted to give credit where credit is due & mention Kylie.
At first I felt like my GPS just dropped me off in a random place but I told myself I might as well go inside & see if I can figure it out or at least ask. You will be surprised on what you can find out once you just read a few signs. In no time I realized I was in the correct place once I head one more floor up.
When I first walked in… I felt like I was in a scene out of a comedy or something. lol. I heard chatter about a Seahawk game, friendships, & snap chat.
That made me feel a little better because I don’t know something about getting fingerprinted is nerve racking. Even if you know that nothing will come back on the negative side. I just never had to do anything like this for a job so the process was new & alarming.
I’m glad that I had Kylie! We laughed at the feeling of «oh m goodness I have to get fingerprinted!» We also spoke about never ever going to a Seahawks game. However that would soon change for Kylie as he got invited by the boss man (I believe I recall) to catch a game. (Lucky duck she was).
Anyhow I would just like to state that Kylie’s customer service was great. She was very attentive, gentle, warm, & funny. I’m glad she was there to ease the task at hand.
Thank You Alliance 2020 for having awesome employees such as Kylie. She really knows her job & is fantastic at explaining the whole process. even the turn around times & what steps come next.

Friendly staff and quick service for real estate license fingerprint requirements. Plus, if the cards the State sent you get damaged (like mine) they have fresh ones for you.

Rating back at 1, due to threat to sue and contacting my employer in attempt to rid of this post. Further harassment, threats or potential crimes will be met with not only legal action but information will be relayed to media outlets.
Details:
1. Said VP in Alliance 2020 has threatened to sue me for personal defamation.

Email convo:
(name omitted):“I just spoke to the manager at the Tara apartments. He is going to call or text you so he can show you. I told him you are still liable on the lease but have a person who stepped in for you. In the event the tenant does not pay you would still be responsible on for the lease.
In regards to your statements on Unilocal:
I want to be real clear with you! I plan to take any and all necessary actions to resolve the deformation of character you have posted on Unilocal.I’m so (company name omitted) will not like you posting their name on Unilocal nor will you current employer but maybe they will.

Thanks for going above and beyond for me. I have spoken to the manager as well and he’ll show me the apartment today.

Because of this Unilocal ad, I’ve received multiple emails from a VP in Alliance 2020, who dedicated his day to:
1. Cajoling me to take down this ad in its entirety.
2. Made all the calls to secure another apartment for me.
I’ve upped my customer experience review to 2 stars because despite the initial actions of a junior employee that caused me damage, a VP did step in and do everything in his power to rectify my experience.
I think this should serve as an example of the power of free speech and sticking up for your rights as a consumer.
Next steps should they come up:

Update 02/​07/​2014, morning:
1. At the time, I was on contract as a room mate in a different apartment. However, the other room mate was paying entirety of the rent. Effectively subleased.
2. A VP of company, who I cc’ed in emails, contacted me via email:
«Jiang,
The entire posting needs to be take down. The turn around time had nothing to do with you getting or not getting the apartment. Your landlord stated you are on a lease until June.

Initial Post: 02/​05/​2014
Do NOT use these guys — Took 4 days by the time they finished. Apartment was already rented.
My experience:
1. Did not contact my employment reference.(To my knowledge)
2. Stated I was unemployed on credit report. (I am a marketing manager in a major internet retailer)
3. Lied about having contacted my manager when asked. (To my knowledge)
4. They ignore calls (6 calls, no callback).
5. Required escalation to fax an employment verification.
6. Multiple typos in final doc, ie: job start date
7. Lack of communication — I was forced to provide the same contact information multiple times, within 20 minutes.
8. Sent an updated credit doc with employment information 3 days late (4 whole days total) — apartment was already rented to someone else.
Their final recommendation (whether to rent) was the following:
«CONDITIONAL – BASED ON 8 MONTHS EMPLOYMENT HISTORY, LEASE EXPIRES JUNE 2014.»
In summary, extremely poor customer experience. Do NOT trust and absolutely do NOT use these guys.

took a month to get results sent to where they needed to be. and that was after calling 3 or 4 times and going into the office twice. do not use these guys, they are convient being in Renton, but not worth the convience!
