This place is a hit or miss… sometimes my nails are perfect other times they are just ok… I wish the pedicure was longer but hey they are cheaper than most places…

I went in on Friday for a pedicure and a fill on my acrylics. I thought I would try a place at The Landing, because all the other establishments are great. I should have listened to the reviews. I came in told them what I wanted and they offered to do my pedicure first. I sit in the chair and the water is room temperature. She did ask me if the temp was ok, I told her it was cold. She said «ok.» Really? This is supposed to be hot, and relaxing. I have had many pedicures in my life, and this was the worst. She barely scrubbed my feet, and they felt rough when I walked out, not at all smooth. She wasn’t even checking to see if my callouses were smooth. The pedicure lasted 10 minutes exactly. That is not cool. Then she moved me to another gal, to do my fill. I’m guessing to spread the work out since all the employees were on their cell phones! And not seeing clients. The gal drilled my nails all the way down till they got hot, and I said it hurts, then she looked at the lady that did my pedi and they started talking in Vietnamese. I don’t understand what they were saying, by pointing at me and laughing. When she was done with the fill (which took 7 mins BTW) she had me wash my hands. I then offered to pay. I paid with a card, and the tip in cash. They deserved zero tip ! But I gave them a 5. Then all of a sudden they start raising their voice talking to each other, one if them had 5 ones, then gave the other gal 3 bucks, and kept 2 for herself, then they are passing the odd dollar back and forth. I should have ripped it out of their hands! How ridiculous! That is so unprofessional. The lady painted my nails, and gouged my pinky with her nails to clean up where she got the polish on my cuticle, and when I asked her to fix it she went on a rant again. She sat me in front of a dryer and never came back to me. I sat their for 15 minutes in front of a stupid desk fan, and she didn’t return. I walked out, and no one said goodbye or thanked me for coming in. Absolutely horrible place to go. Horrible! 2 of my nails have broken, and the polish is peeling off my right hand. It’s been 3 days! I will never go back. and I will tell all my girlfriends to stay away from this place!

I’ve been here a lot and never been unhappy with my nails but I don’t think technicians should answer their cell phones while working on clients.

We have been here a hand full of I new there is sometimes a bit of a wait but they do a good job my daughter likes it as well

So I had come in on two separate occasions. I got my eyebrows done first. They were able to fit me in quickly. She was very soft with her waxing (rare to find) and my eyebrows came out great! My skin usually gets pretty red, but they didn’t stay red as long because she was so gentle. I then came back after work to get a gel manicure done. They took their time and did a great job on the paint job. I do wish they would give more of a hand massage when doing the manicure, but besides that I was happy with both experiences (:

This place is ok if you plan ahead and make an appointment with someone you like. I’ve had some bad experiences here, but now I make an appointment with someone who always does a good job.

Worst nail salon. Looking for a new place to go, because my favorite place is all the way up in Everett. My husbands pedicure was literally 15 min long, she basically just stopped and went on to an appointment she had. Told him she was done. I was getting a gel manicure and we started at the same time, he was done before I even had polish on. This is after j refused to let her trim or file my nails with the dirty file. So it was a few min after sitting down… The woman doing my nails whipped out a dirty disposable file that had been obviously used many times before. Not clean at all. Then after the worst polish job I have gotten in a long time still charged us full price. I complained about the gel polish being all over my fingers, and she tried to CUT the polish off my cuticles! oUcH! The pad of my thumb was glued to my nail with gel polish. I was so upset I went outside and my husband went to pay. I would never go back here or recommend this to anyone else. This nail salon is located in the nice new Renton Landing area. I was expecting so much more.

Our experience was very disappointing. The only reason why my BFF and I came for pedicures was because our regular spa salon closed early. We assumed because this nail shop was located in The Landing, we’d experience a higher level of service we’ve come to expect from our regular shop. WRONG.
Never again! We arrived at 6:20pm, and was impressed with the décor. That’s where the positive aspect ended. Why didn’t o read Unilocal reviews before heading there? It was last minute, but still we went with an open mind. We saw the special in the window about $ 18 pedicure with a mani, so i decided to have shellac. The special is only valid as cash transaction. UGH! I brought my own polish, but the rude technician insisted on selecting on their nail selection. S misunderstood shellac was for manicure only. She was off putting, and when the other technicians started communicating in their language, my bff and i looked at each other and sighed. The general sense was they wanted to do a minimal job and as long as they did just enough, we’d be satisfied, NOPE! They missed the point of providing quality customer service and satisfaction, not the customer serving them.
The language barrier was a problem, and so was the customer service. The nail technician working on my BFF’s pedicure tried to argue with me regarding the type of service I requested politely before sitting down for my shellac mani and pedi.
Another thing, the arm shelf was broken, and the portable uv nail dryer was cutting off and on.
At the end of our pedicure, my BFF didn’t receive her temp sandals from the rude technician, since she was going around the shop closing out the salon 15 minutes before closing time. Luckily her nails were dry by then. It wasn’t only until my nice technician put my temp sandals on, and when I told her I’d put on her sandals, the rude technician came up to me and said, no no, I’ll do it. My bff and I were like, why didn’t you do that BEFORE closing down your shop?
We left unhappy and very unsatified. Never again.

Polish is smooth. However I had to point out crooked nails and hanging skin. The lady next to me was guiding her manicurist as well. While I was in there, three ladies came in to get nails fixed and today, the second day of my shellac, I already have a huge chip! The price was high for the quality and they urged for cash but I had none. The whole time they talked to each other instead of practicing customer service. They use the same unsterilized tools on everyone! Won’t be going back!

I got a pedicure for my birthday. I picked out the color I wanted, but she refused because she said the color would look bad on me. She made me pick another color.
I thought she was kidding. Nope.
Never going back.

Worst experience ever! Wish I reviewed Unilocal first as now I see all the poor reviews. My sister and I came here for a pedicure. The nail polish selection is poor and includes wet n’ wild brand which should have tipped me off to start. The dos pedicure itself was mediocre with little effort put in for leg massage. We arrived 40 minutes before closing and the assured they could do it. 10 minutes before closing without our nails dry they were ushering us out the door. They didn’t offer disposable flip-​flops and didn’t help my sister with her sandals. This resulted in a smudging situation and if we hadn’t been very assertive they would have kicked us out the door without correcting it. They seemed very put out and rude about it. All they wanted was to get home and didn’t care about our service or satisfaction.

This place has greatly improved since I first visited about 1 year ago. At first I didn’t like this place because some of the technicians did sloppy work and were kinda gruff with customers. Those technicians didn’t last long, however, and the current ladies all seem to do good work whenever I go and are friendly and cordial when possible. Best of all, when I get shellac manicures they last forever and never peel or chip at the edges, as can happen when not done well. They even went out of their way to accommodate me when my leg was injured and in a boot. If you haven’t been in a while, I would try again. It’s like Starbucks: not the greatest in the world, but very consistent with dependable service.

I have been going to this salon since they opened at the landing. Today I had the worst experience. I didn’t even get a pedicure out of it. I sat in the chair for over 45 min soaking. My water had gone cold. Four of us came in together and my three friends were almost done before I had even started. I never got started. Someone else came in and they started on her before me. Another client was getting the worlds longest foot massage, I was paying attention today to details. I walked out with dripping feet, because they don’t care anymore.

This post is written for my wife
She walked into the salon and asked if she could get a pedicure. The gal there asked if she also wanted a manicure? My wife asked if it could be quick since she was meeting me for dinner. The gal said she could do it right then. As they walked back to the spa chair, the gal said in Vietnamese «This lady (referring to my wife) first thing she wants to know is if it’s going to be quick? Of course it will be quick, I want to get home too!!!» My wife understood ever WORD and advised her not to speak in Vietnamese behind people’s back and walked out the door. She was completely rude!!! MY WIFE WOULD NEVER GO BACK.

My BFF and I came in for pedicures together. She decided to get a manicure as well.
My pedicure was done well and it lasted for almost six weeks. My friend had no complaints.
We were seated next to each other and someone came over to start working on my friend’s pedicure right away. A lot was said between the workers in their native language about us, then finally someone came over to start my pedicure. My friend was treated like a queen — they massaged her feet and legs, asked if she was comfortable, offered her a drink and gave her foam temp sandals to protect her pedicure. I didn’t receive any of that, and we paid for the same pedicure.
We paid cash because they said they would give a discount for cash payment.
Very little English was spoken and I don’t have any idea if they understood what I told them about my disability or not. I won’t be coming back due to the communication issue, safety hazard and how I was treated.

There are many poor reviews but I assure you ever time I come I have a great experience. Maybe things have improved since those were written because I feel it is a great nail salon.
The staff is very friendly and kind. There is a bit of a language barrier but they try and I do appreciate the effort.
I love the shellac manicures. They have a wide variety of colors for the gel manicures and I like to switch it up. The shellac lasts at least 2 weeks sometimes closer to 3 weeks depending on what I am doing. I also really enjoy their pedicures. The chairs are large and very comfortable with several massage options.
I think their prices are competitive to everyone around them and for the quality of their work it’s worth it. They offer a discount if you pay with cash (I never carry it but if I have time to stop at the ATM before coming it’s worth it).
I’ve become a regular and they remember what I like and I really appreciate that because they are always busy.

Tried this place for the first time, since it was nearby the theatre, where I was going after.
The place was pretty decent. looking through the reviews, seems like everyone was having problems. Well, guess I lucked out. The person that helped me was great! Super careful and cautious.
Price wise, because I was paying cash, for a mani & pedi it was $ 29 ($ 31 if you are paying with a card) pretty decent price. Average.
It was a clean place. Overall, nothing too special, but it wasnt a bad first experience.

This place used to be good since it was conveniently located next to work. However, the last several times here have been disappointing. The water is barely lukewarm and I just can’t get relaxed.
The last time I was here, I just ran a 15k race that morning and was in need of a nice foot massage with a pedi. How relaxing is it to have the lady doing my pedicure dig her nails into the bottom of my foot?! Definitely not relaxing at all and it hurt! It was like she was scratching my foot which I didn’t need, I just wanted a good foot rub. Oh well. I guess it’s time to look for a new place.

So I got a spa pedicure. I never had one were they don’t put anything in the water. Awkward. Lady was very quiet with a blank face. She did an awesome job with cleaning and massaging. But than I find it gross seeing they keep the cleaning things with the nail scrub things she started to clean and scrub as I tried to relax there. While the hot towels were wrapped on my feet.
I wasn’t offered to see if I want additional service? For example callus treatment, Parrafin wax the extra stuff for additional cost.
Nobody asked me how am I’m doing. But I felt they treated a American customers better. Greeted them, showed patience, and also asked what type of service etc.
I don’t like going into nail salons where they, speak to each
their own language. Which makes me feel uneasy thinking they’re talking about me or a customer secretly. As I sat there getting my nails done. I looked to see if they had a website with prices. They didnt?
I tipped $ 6 and it only cost me 19 $
Don’t get me wrong if your in renton landing I would think you would have better service.
To top it off very disspointed. Nail polishes seemed old and thinned out.
My review is not to take your customers away. It gets the job done if you need a nail color change.
But I haven’t had a pedi in almost a year and I was pregnant. So I was kinda disappointed.
I’m a germaphobe. So if your showing me what you clean with and it’s in a reusable bottle of antibacterial soap dispenser? How do I kniw it’s a good sterile cleaner and not just antibacterial soap. Second I saw the sponge the other lady used to clean the other tub in front of me. The sponge looked worn down. everyone knows that sponges carry tons of bacteria.

This place needs to shut down. Horrible job at our nails. And the RUDEST «ladies» ever!!! Myself, I got a shellac French, and by 2 days later all my nails were peeling at the edges. I’ve never had that happen with shellac before!!! I’m pretty sure they water down their paints. That was rediculous. My daughter and her friend came for fills and designs and it was so badly done, that by the time they were done doing it I was over asking them to fix and fix and fix them some more, that I just left knowing they just couldn’t fix them. They do not know how to do nails WHATSOEVER. Why are they even running a salon???
It was awful and painful to watch them know so little about going nails. Speaking of painful, my 13yr old daughter was cringing with pain from their rough handling of her hands. I asked them so many times to do different things differently, as nothing they did was good, but they just didn’t care. And seemed to enjoy inflicting pain. No joke. I’ve written about a few nail salons, but this place beats everyone and everything that was even close to being bad.
I was thisclose to going back in to obviously have them fix my nails and my daughters, but seriously I know that they will be rude and do a terrible job. So we went somewhere else to get fixed up.
Please save yourself from going a this horrible, unprofessional and disrespectful place. Can you tell I’m upset!!! :(
