Cool shop. Great haircut. I gave the barber my instructions on how I wanted it cut and his response was less than thrilled, but he nailed it. They have some adult magazines in the corner which is disappointing, I really want to bring my young son in but don’t feel comfortable with those magazines laying about.

I made an unusual request — trim my beard and make it neat. He said he doesn’t do shaves but will take the hair clipper and do that. I was very satisfied with the result and the price. I will come back again!

Been coming here for years. Andrew and Nick do a fantastic job at cutting mens hair. I never leave here disappointed. Nick also does straight razor shaves as well. Support small businesses!

I’ve gotten my hair cut here about a half dozen times and was generally pleased with the results, price, and atmosphere. There’s art work everywhere, and a large flat screen tv. It certainly makes for a unique barbershop experience. However, an odd incident happened during my last visit that caused me to seek out another barbershop.
Andrew, the owner, had cut my hair (as he had once before). When he finished, he said that it would be $ 14. I handed him a twenty and said, «Three back is fine.» to which he said, «Two?». I repeated that three would be fine, and he said «Two.» and turned and rang me up for $ 18, after which he quickly shoved $ 2 in my hand, and I left and went out to my car. I sat in my car baffled by what had just happened, and debated whether to make an issue over a buck. After about a minute, I was sufficiently steamed to do just that.
I walked back in asked whether their rates had gone up (I knew they hadn’t.). I pointed out that $ 14 plus a $ 3 tip should have meant $ 3 in change, not $ 2. Andrew said that I had said I wanted two back, to which I said that I had said «three» twice. Then Andrew opened his till and said that if I wanted I could have the full $ 4 back ($ 20 — $ 14 — $ 2 = $ 4), and I said no, just $ 1 would be fine. After this, Andrew and the other barber kept saying that Andrew has some hearing difficulties and that you have to speak loudly. The problem I have with that is that we had conversed pretty much the entire time he cut my hair, and he seemed to hear just fine.
I think that the 21% tip I intended to give was sufficient. Fortunately, Andrew heard me correctly when I said how I wanted my hair cut.

Been going there for years, Nick takes care of me every time. In and out and cleaned up. will keep going.

This place is an all round great barber shop! The two gentlemen that run the place give excellent cuts at a reasonable price. I’ve been going here for the past 6 months and have never been disappointed. If you’re like me, you know how hard it is to find a good barber. Look no further, this is the one.

Started off with great, but after 6 months I found that the cut started to go down hill. Had to change how I got my hair cut to see if something easier like a crew cut, and even that was not consistent.
They are also expensive at $ 18, it was 15 when I started. It also seemed that about once a month the price would go up and nothing was ever mentioned about the price increasing.

The place is beautiful, but the older man is a little bit grumpy and gruff with his dealing with customers. The younger barber seemed very nice, but he was busy. I took my son elsewhere.
In reply to owners comment — lol (that means laugh out loud) but you sir are a liar — be nicer and you wont get mediocre reviews — i didnt even give you a bad review just an honest one

Good haircuts. I had to wait a while longer for my haircut than was necessary because he had to deal with customers for his other business.

I took my very picky 14 year old son to this barber shop for a haircut. He got a great cut that he was very happy with. We walked in, didn’t have to wait long and both barbers in the shop were very friendly. I prefer to support local businesses rather than large chains and this one didn’t disappoint. Great old school atmosphere, and they clearly know what they’re doing! I watched two other customers get their hair cut while we were there, one was in his 20’s and the other, I would guess, in his 80’s. They both seemed really pleased with the results and looked great. We will definitely be back and I’ll be sending my 20 year old son here as well. Not to mention, you can’t beat the price. $ 5 off for first time customers, I promise you won’t find a better haircut anywhere for $ 12!

Nick the younger barber cut my hair and trimmed my goatee. I was very satisfied and was at a very reasonable price. it is very hard to find a barber that can do my hair the way i want it at the right price and i have finally found that barber. i would highly recommend this barber shop for you next haircut.

I’m 24 and am always disappointed by haircuts and dread when the time to get a trim comes around.
This time I was determined to get a good haircut and went online and looked up some good styles for my hair type. Decided I’d go to a barber shop instead of Supercuts or Greatclips and chose this place.
The shop is very cool with all art covering the walls, and the owner and his younger employee very friendly. I printed some pictures of the cut I was looking for and the young guy and I discussed the features my hair could pull off and where we’d have to compromise. He got to cutting and I was impressed by how meticulous he was. Nice to see someone actually care how my cut is going to turn out.
In the end I’m not exaggerating that it’s probably the best cut I’ve received. Looks great and I’m actually not disappointed!

Got an excellent haircut for $ 16 bucks here. Much more comfortable than GenericCuts and the owner is very skilled and personable. Probably the only place in Renton I’ll go for haircuts now. There’s also a sauna if you’re into that!
Walk in only, but has a nice selection of gentleman’s periodicals for you to browse while waiting!
