It’s important to keep giving props to 5-​star businesses, especially if they are mom n pops. Not sure if this one is locally owned, but no matter, they offer the best customer service around. I went in recently to purchase a windshield repair kit. The only one they had in stock looked like it had been open before and part of the kit was missing. I brought this to the attention of the person helping me. He offered to order a new kit for me and contacted me a few days later when it came in. This is a business I feel incredibly good spending my money in. I know I don’t make a lot of big purchases, so hopefully a positive Unilocal review will help them to get more customers.

Very great shop. U wonder how they stay around with a oreilys AND auto zone less than a block away. It really goes to show how much of a loyal following they have and why they have it.

This place is an institution in Renton — it’s been there for nearly 40 years! And it’s definitely the cream of the auto parts store crop. Every employee at Highland East Auto Parts goes above and beyond to make sure that every customer is happy, every single time.
They’ve got a great inventory. and if it isn’t on the shelf, they’ll be able to track it down and order it for you — most of the time you’ll have it in your hands within a few hours.

Highlands East resurfaced my car’s rotors this summer, and I was impressed with their service, their professionalism, and their pricing. I dealt with three mechanics and was happy — particularly as a woman — that they took me seriously. Also, I noticed that the mechanics not actively working were discussing their own car/​truck repair/​restoration projects — these men clearly love what they do. Finally, I was impressed with their very fair pricing and the fact that no one tried to upsell me on any additional products or services.

Friendly staff and a great selection of winter wiper blades. Managed to find tail light bulbs and fix all the little seasonal ills in one stop.
