House Of Lashes

I have been getting lashes for about 2.5 months now and really love them.
Tiki has been very informative, polite and professional. Otherwise I would not go back.
They do not have an onsite receptionist so the best way to make an appointment is to call or schedule it online.
Pros:
–Never having to wear mascara again
–Professionals who help pick the best eyelash look on how you want them
–Some quiet relaxing time
Cons:
–It can expensive depending on your eyelash needs
–Keeping eyes closed the whole time can be an issue for some
–It becomes a habit like coffee
Despite the cons, the pros outweigh them. I have not had eyelashes done by anyone else so I cannot comment on their professionalism.

I am making a post on Unilocal in case Joelle is going to delete my review on their Facebook page. She already deleted one of my comments on her photos mentioning how she has bad customer service skills, so I thought it’d be a good idea to post my review here as well. JOELLE’S customer service skills are VERY BAD and I am not surprised that someone else said the same thing about her on Unilocal.Also not surprised at how there is more than one review talking about how bad their customer service is.
My review that I posted on their Facebook page is in the photos. Also, I put a photo of someone else putting up a review on the same day as mine (and the only other one in 2016). I posted a bad review of Joelle and they couldn’t handle it by the looks of it. The review they posted after mine sounded forced/​fake, and that’s not an honest review. My review was legit and I was surprised at how she treated me in their shop.
Therefore, I am gladly taking my business elsewhere because House of Lashes DOES NOT deserve my business.

Not the lashes but how I was treated. I’m pretty sure it was the owner. I bought the lashes & fill from Groupon because I had burned mine off lighting my fireplace. They said they couldn’t do them until mine grew back more. Ok so it was almost 2 months. While she was doing my lashes they wanted to book the fill in 2 week (I’m a flight attendant and my schedule is mixed). They wouldn’t let me book anything but 2 weeks to the day out and were really rude when I wanted 2 weeks & 2 days out. Said I shouldn’t have booked until I knew 2 weeks exactly would work. So I booked it and then got pneumonia. I called 2 days ahead so I wouldn’t mess them up. She rudely said I couldn’t rebook and my fill would be unusable. She said to contact Groupon for a refund she wouldn’t do anything. It was a terrible experience & I would never go back and wouldn’t recommend them because of rudeness & lack of flexibility.

I see Leslie. I used to go to Seattle at another salon, but wanted to find a place closer to home. They are so thick and full after each fill, I love the dramatic look. Leslie is personable and always remembers every detail. They are a little on the pricier side in comparison to what I have been used to, but I save on time and parking by avoiding Seattle.

Tiki pays close attention to the little details to make sure my lashes are flawless. She is absolutely amazing!

I started going to House of Lashes in December 2015 and love it! Tiki has always been so patient and helpful with answering questions and explaining the process and difference between silk, faux mink, and 3d lashes. The chairs are comfortable and they’re always playing great music, I love it!

I highly recommend this salon. Everyone is professional and gives great customer service. Leslie is absolutely the best but going to anyone at this salon is a MUST! I can’t imagine NOT having my lashes. I love that I don’t have to wear Mascara or eyeliner and they last so long!

I am so happy I have had the pleasure of knowing the eyelash technicians at House of Lashes. I’ve been going there for three years now and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. I trust Tiki to give me the best service every time. I know how important each client is to her by the care and respect she gives with each visit. Thank you Tiki!

I have been getting my lashes done now off and on for about 3 years
In that time I have learned about different lash shops and lounges and the pros and cons. After doing this I realized I needed to find an expert. I wanted someone who had been in the field for a long time. Possibly owned their own shop. Somewhere where I could hand over my hard earned cash and walkout with amazing lashes that would stay.
I didn’t need cucumber water. I needed lashes. And in less than an hour.
If you want to have someone who has been doing lashes for years long before they became the next big thing Tiki Is your person. She’s busy She is an expert. And appointments, punctuality, getting you the right lashes are all important to her.
She’s particular about her work which creates amazing lashes every time. She can be particular about customers. She takes a lot of ownership in the work she’s done and the business. They are choosy about their new customers and like to get to know them to see if the lashes will work and discuss expectations and prior experiences. Sometimes it doesn’t work out for everyone. (then I get more lash time which is great!)
I’ve been going for about 4 months. I am lucky I found Tiki and that she was willing to work with the terrible lashes I had on. She removed them and then gave me new lashes. They were amazing. They are light and fluffy. I’m so excited for each appointment and to see Tiki again.
I also get compliments on them all he time. I’ve refereed 2 friends so far.
If you are lucky enough to be a first visit here. Read the website. Be prepared. Call if you have questions and make your appointment online. You might need a consult And remember be relaxed and polite. Your’e about to work with a lash genius.
If it works out you will never have to go anywhere else!

I couldn’t get anyone to answer my calls so I thought maybe I would just stop in. I got there at around 1:50pm and the woman’s name that was there was Tiki. I had never gotten my lashes done so I had NO idea at all how this process worked. Tiki told me to call. I explained that I had been calling. I told her it showed online that they had appts available for the next day so that’s why I thought maybe I could just stop in. She said I need to call or book online. I told her I had never done anything like that online before and I just wasn’t sure how, I asked do I have to know what lashes I want ahead of time or do I just come in and then figure it out. Apparently I was asking too many questions. Tiki then told me that I will have to make an appt and ask then because she has someone that is coming in a few minutes and she cannot tell me about the lashes or help me because it would be rude to the woman who has an appt to be talking to me and make her wait when she has an appt. At this time there was still Noone even there. I would’ve understood if someone came in and she could no longer help me. But it was still just her and me. She just flat out didn’t want to help me for some reason. So I then told her I would like to schedule one of the appts I saw that were available and I asked if it would be okay to just do that thru her. She said I need to call or book it online. I said okay, I just never have done it online. She said «call or online, AREN’T YOU AMERICAN?!» I was so shocked and I still don’t quite know what she meant. She then said here call this number. She rattled off a phone number so I just started dialing it and a woman answered. I left thw office area and spoke to the woman on the phone for 5 minutes. All the while, Tiki was still sitting in there by herself. The woman on the phone was super nice and very helpful.
So I end up making an appt and the woman on the phone said it would be with TIKI but that she is really good. So again I was excited since I had never had lashes. I go in the next day and Tiki says oh you made an appt. I said yes and smiled. I filled out the papers and sat in her chair. She put on a couple lashes and then said your eyes are shaking. If you don’t stop, I’m taking these lashes off and can’t help you. I said okay well maybe I’m nervous, give me just a sec. She said I have already given you 5 minutes. I’m taking the lashes off. I said your not even going to try? She took the lashes off and was done. I have never, NEVER, in my life been treated so bad by someone, ever. I left crying. I have no idea what happened.
I left and called a place I’m Bonny Lake which I had called earlier but the drive was so far. They said they could squeeze me in (I was going on a trip the next day). I went there and had NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. Because of Tiki, I was afraid my eyes might move so I asked the lady. She said no, you are fine, don’t worry at all! My lashes turned out so beautiful. I have never written a review, but I have never been treated so horribly by someone in my life. Tiki is a horrible person and very rude. I would never recommend her! Maybe she a ted so horribly because when I walked in, I said I had heard about this place thru groupon. Tiki then basically made it sound like I couldn’t use groupon, I can’t rememebr why, and I said that’s okay I still wanted lashes. But TIKI treated me awful.

I’ve been getting my lashes done by Leslie for over a year now, each time I leave looking amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! I wear glasses but also wanted length, Leslie customized my lashes design so my lashes won’t be hitting the lenses. She is amazing! Highly recommend all my friends and family to go here!

Was referred here by my sisters friend. Tiki is the lady who does my lashes she’s honest and does an amazing job I highly recommend coming to this place to get your lashes done

Been coming here for a year now. Leslie is honestly the best! It’s such a life changing for me. I would recommend it to everyone out there who’s been wanting to get their extensions. Never had any bad experience being her client. She’s very professional and loyal.

I have been getting my lash extensions with Leslie at House of Lashes in Renton for almost 2 years now. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing they are. Leslie really listened to what look I was trying to achieve and tried a couple different lengths, curls, thickness, etc., on me to find the perfect combination. She was super knowledgeable, and was very up front about guidelines for before and after extension care. She is also very accommodating for scheduling. As busy as her salon is, she will always work with me to find a time that is suitable to my requests. I no long need to worry about mascara clumping my lashes together or falsies falling off. I have gotten into a routine where I cannot live without them!

This review is not based on the lashes that Angela did. She did a good job. This review is based on comments that were made while my lashes were being completed. I’m not sure who the other lady was (Tiki?) made several remarks that I used a groupon for initial lash and fill. She said that the groupon was only for first time customers. I didn’t remember the fine print word for word while I was in the chair but I was pretty sure that it said it was available for customers that haven’t used a groupon in a year. She then proceeded to list the dates that I used the groupon… all more than 1 year ago. The fine print says:
«Expires May 26, 2016 Pacific Time (US & Canada) Not valid for customers who have used services in past 12 months.»
She made me feel bad but I did nothing wrong. I left them a voicemail but no one has called. They were truly unprofessional and I would not go back!

This place is great. Very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. The service is excellent. Tiki is very nice and knowledgeable, she is really good in accommodating your requests. I have «problematic» lashes — they are thin and do not support extensions very well. As a result the extensions do not last. I have tried several places before the House of Lashes and was ending up with almost no lashes left in the end. Tiki was able to get to the root of the problem and found the perfect length and thickness for my eyelashes. As a result they last a long time and look really good. I get a lot of compliments on them. I highly recommend this place.

House of Lashes (Renton) is by far the most professional and knowledgable establishment in the Seattle area if you want eyelash extensions. My new eyelashes changed my morning routine and my life. I no longer need to wear eyeliner and mascara, I can just get up, give them a quick comb through and head to the gym. I no longer need to worry about my makeup running when I’m working out, or crying during a sad movie.
They are so beautiful and I get so many comments on my eyes. Most people just ask me what kind of mascara I use and are surprised when I tell them NONE. Lol… never use mascara on eyelash extensions. The chemicals will break down the glue… and even more so if you use eye makeup to remove the mascara.
I had a terrible experience at a local Renton spa/​nail salon my first time getting extensions. The owner of the salon suggested I try it since it was new service being offered. I foolishly complied and ended up with clumps of black lashes that looked like spider legs glued to my lashes and eyelids. The glue she used burned my eyes and afterwards, I couldn’t even blink without pain. I went back to the same salon within a one week period to get her to «fix» my lashes. Finally, I wised up and did some online research regarding proper application and materials used for eyelash extensions.
The first time I called and spoke with Tiki, I explained my situation and she squeezed me in right away. She spent at least 20 minutes explaining all of the ins and outs of eyelash extensions, and all of the different types — from mink and silk to 4D. Instead of purchasing a Groupon, because I had no idea what would work best with my very short and light lashes, I told her to use her expertise and choose for me. I couldn’t have been more pleased.
It’s very difficult and lengthy process to remove improperly applied extensions. Removal of the glue can tear the skin on the eyelids and pull out your original lashes. If you want your new eyelashes to look good, you need all of your natural lashes without gaps. Tiki was able to remove the spider legs off of my lids painlessly and without losing a single one of my natural lashes.
She applied the 4D eyelashes in a cat-​eye shape in about 90 minutes perfectly and painlessly. They last about 2 – 3 weeks with no irritation and look gorgeous the entire time. Thank you House of Lashes, Tiki and the girls for everything! I love you guys. With over ten years of experience applying eyelash extensions, this is definitely the place to go. Don’t settle for the cheap and inexperienced eyelash places. Remember, you get what you pay for!

Had bought a groupon for this location and was contacted 1 hour prior to the appointment that the company had decided to cancel my appointment. The lady stated that this was due to a poor review that I had left for the other location. She also tried to pretend that there was a groupon fine print rule that stated that previous clients cannot use this groupon. This is obviously a blatant lie as the groupon rules do not state in any form that the groupon cannot be used for previous clients. I have attached the exact rules:
«Promotional value expires 120 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Limit 1 per visit. Appointment required. 24hr cancellation notice or fee up to Groupon price may apply. Due to the time and nature of the treatment it may not be comfortable for expectant mothers. Only valid for option purchased. No substitutions. Credit card number required at time of booking. Services must be used by the same person. Valid for Renton location only. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.»
This «corporation» does not follow through with their groupon obligation and uses a lame excuse to try to hide the fact that they are obviously refusing service due to a previous bad review at another location. The owner, Leslie, also harassed me after I sent my Unilocal review to the other location in university district. She contacted me multiple times via email and then decided to use spiteful means to ban me from the business versus try to earn my business back.
Overall, do not come here as the owners are rude and blatantly lie to the customers. Would give this place a zero if I could have. Also some of their talented lash stylists left and when I asked the owner what happened to her, she was very bitter. Just overall, a horrible business.

It was my first time getting my lashes done and it was by Tiki. She gave me lots of suggestions and in the end I told her to do what she thought would look best, but with volume :) In the end it came out so pretty! Can’t wait until my next appointment.
Ps. If you sleep with your eyes a tad bit open like me ;) … I’d suggest you stay awake as best as you can! Those chairs are sooo comfy!!!

I just got done with my 2d eyelashes by tiki and let me tell you, she’s amaaazinngg!!!
I was so happy I got to come in within two hours of making a appointment online because I was in a major eyelash crisis. My previous eyelash extension was a horror story. (Let’s just keep it at that lol)
Tiki is such a kind hearted and very patient lady. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a fix or extensions! Thank you Tiki!
