For a second time I needed my mother-of-the-bride dress altered. I had gained some weight and needed the dress let out. It was not an easy alteration, but Kristen was able to do it beautifully! Once again I highly recommend Kristen. Her prices are fair and she does excellent work.

Not sure what took me so long to write this review. I first worked with Kristen four years ago when she helped alter/customize my wedding dress. She took my dress that I bought online with a v neck and straps and turned it into a strapless sweetheart! It required a lot of work! But turned out exactly like I had imagined! Since then I have had her take in multiple items of clothing! Everything has been done in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

I have used Kristen a few times now for different projects around my home… pillow covers, ottoman covers, etc. She has always delivered beautiful work within a timely manner. I can honestly say that her attention to detail far surpassed my excpectations and paled in comparison to any work I have had done in the past. It is quite evident that she is exceptionally skilled at what she does! I not only will be bringing her projects in the future, but would also recommend her to anyone that has this type of project… or like me is sewing illiterate :) I look forward to doing business with her again in the near future.

i brought 4 pairs of pants to kristen to shorten. she did a great job. when i bought more pants later and started wearing new shoes, i needed the new pants shortened and the previous pants lengthened a little bit. the previous pants were perfect. the new pants were too short. i emailed her and told her i needed her to fix her mistake and her response was that she didn’t know what went wrong but she didn’t make a mistake, and that she wasn’t available to fix them for about 3 weeks because she was unpacking in her new house and wouldn’t be in the studio. ok… i try to be flexible when i can. i emailed her 3 weeks later and we couldn’t come up with a good time when she’s in the studio and i’m not at work. she was getting ready to go on vacation for the holidays and not taking new appointments until january, so she offered to let me drop them off on her home porch. convenient for both of us and i can get my pants fixed before she leaves since i’m not a new appointment. right? wrong. i waited. and waited. 3 weeks later i emailed asking if they were ready and it turns out she LEFTTOWN anyway without fixing them! so in the end, i STILL had to wait 6 weeks for her to fix her mistake. this is very poor customer service and i won’t return. there is a dry cleaner ¾ mile from my house that does a great job.
