I can’t say enough about this guy! We had a branch the size of a tree come down on our neighbors fence during a storm. These were not kind neighbors to say the least and when I explained the situation Dan and his crew arrived within 30 minutes to get the tree off the fence. They were busy taking care of many people after the storm but stopping by in between jobs was above and beyond! THANK YOU Dan!

Dan and his colleague did a wonderful job pruning our trees and cutting one sickly one down, chipping all the material and hauling it away. They arrived promptly, listened well, offered thoughtful guidance, worked fast but carefully, and left our trees looking great. They cut down the tree, while being careful not to disturb the surrounding plants. They chipped the branches, cleaned up the yard, and hauled away the pieces all in under 2 hours. I am very happy with the work done by Pacific Rim Tree Service. Dan was prompt in his communications with me, and was quick to make an estimate for the work. His prices are very competitive. He and his crew showed up right on time at 8 am and got to work. Dan and his crew did an excellent job removing a massive and rotting ash tree from a spot that straddled my property line and was threatening both my house and my neighbor’s house. I was impressed with his crew’s professional and friendly manner. The whole crew was very careful about their work and making sure that the branches wouldn’t damage either house They were more than happy to answer my questions and let me watch them work. I feel so fortunate to have found Pacific Rim Tree Service in December 2014. They were very thorough, knowledgable and honest in their evaluation and estimate. Two of them looked at all the trees right up close and determined the status of each (one outfit I had just stood from a distance and counted the trees and gave an inflated estimate). I had two big trees removed and stumps ground, and five fir trees thinned, all branches chipped and wood hauled away, the clean up was spotless and they did my roof too for a very nominal fee. The crew were prompt and nice, worked hard and fast. Their price and quality could not be beat. I highly recommend them. Good, hard working and honest company.

We had a tree fall on our house in the wind storm last week. I found Pacific Rim Tree on Unilocal and liked their reviews. Dan showed up and gave us a quote and ended up coming back a couple times to clean up what he could with the weather conditions limiting what he could do.
Dan and his team are awesome, they showed up when they said they would, got right to work, and even raked up the leaves when they were done. I would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again!

Dan and the crew just got done taking down 8 giant trees in my backyard and they did everything Dan said they were going to do. We got a few bids for this project and their’s was very competitive. However, the difference was that Dan had arranged a component of the deal where we could sell our firs to a mill which would essentially get us back some of the expense it cost to have these trees removed. Dan set this deal up himself with the logging truck driver and the mill. The driver assessed this morning when he took the trees that we’d get over $ 1000 back for them.
The Pacific Rim Tree Service crew was very skilled, courteous, and extremely efficient. They started right on time at 8AM Monday and by 10:30 AM Tuesday, they had sent all my trees off on the logging truck, cleaned the yard, and bucked all the remaining wood for firewood that appears will be more than a cord.
I do business with a lot of people both for my job and personally. There is nothing more important to me than someone delivering on what they say they are going to do and for the price they quoted. Pacific Rim Tree Service charged me exactly what it said on the quote sitting on my counter from 3 weeks before. They took out these massive trees with skill and precision and is certainly someone I would recommend to anyone looking for a service like this. These guys do good business.

I had two fir trees (over 36-​inches in diameter, and at least over 115-​feet tall) that required their removal as they were damaging the roof of my house, are a safety hazard, and were causing additional yard maintenance tasks that would prefer not to waste my time on. After months of searching on the internet, Unilocal,talking to friends, researching L&I backgrounds, and getting bidding quotes for each company, I found that Pacific Rim Tree Services, with Dan K is the best in communication, customer service, knowledge, best bid, and most of all, no errors on the State Record, and fully licensed, bonded and insured!
Dan is quick to communicate over email or phone, and came by pretty quickly to do the initial assessment. After the initial examination and I heard his entire process of what he will do, what he needed, and planned everything out — I was sold then and there. This level of knowledge, great number of experience, and no up-​selling or haggling tactics; just pure honesty really made me want to do business with him.
We agreed to a later date for when he and his crew will stop by to remove my trees. It actually gave me time to remove some fencing to provide easier access for his equipment.
On the day of the tree removal, Dan and his crew got started early in the day, climbing up on the trees to cut down the limbs and proceed with getting them chipped. Afterwards, the trunk was dealt with by bring it down onto my yard for processing to firewood. After this, the stump was grounded. I am very happy with the result of all the this hard work, I don’t have to deal with tree limbs falling threatening to fall my house, or tree debris damaging my roof, and the back yard has more sunlight beaming into it. Now I have to figure out what to do with all of this yard space!
With respect to Dan and the rest of his crew, I’m very pleased with their work, adherence to schedule, their communication; the entire process went according to the plan that was laid down. During the tree removal process or stump grinding, I noticed that they deployed large sheets of plywood around the work site or the walkways to prevent loose debris from damaging my house. That is a sign of attention to detail.
