We bought a home where the previous homeowners built two dog doors in their interior and exterior garage doors. After putting in a request on Home Advisor, SMC L.L.C. — Steve’s name came up. We contacted him, he came over and assessed the doors, talked to us about the project and then scheduled a date and time to get the doors installed. Steve is extremely professional, on time, friendly, a wealth of information when it comes to doors and is a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone to install and/or repair doors, please consider calling Steve as he is a GREAT person to work with and his work is impeccable.

I looked all over the web trying to find a small business contractor to come and install my front door in north Seattle at a reasonable price. We are typically «do-it-yourselfers» but had a bunch of other tasks on the docket and decided to hire this task out. We came across Steve and Barbara of SMC LLC, and I am happy to report that we had an excellent service experience with them. They were prompt, affordable, professional and all around nice people who know what they are doing. I wish that I had more doors for them to install as they were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. From the initial quote and measure meeting, to the delivery of the door from Franks Lumber in their van so we could stain it ourselves to save a bit of $, to their final visit for installation, they arrived on time, arranged their schedule to fit our timing needs, and did good quality work. We are very happy with our new front door and highly recommend their service.
