This place is always good and is accommodating to my food allergies! Love me some taco time!!!

I love my local taco time. Everytime i come in There food is always fresh & hot. The crew is always friendly & welcoming. I always like to come inside because they’ve been struggling with long drive thru times depending on the time of day but to be honest the food taste & quality is well worth the wait.

It had been years since I’ve had Taco Time up until recently. I’ve stopped by twice now, once going inside and the other time through drive thru. The parking lot is small and awkward, pay attention to where you are going. The drive thru is super narrow — watch the curbs. Inside is pretty big, lots of booths and tables. Clean. Visit #1 — Dine in: The guy behind the register was nice and friendly. Respected that I needed a few minutes to decide, like I said, it’s been a long time since I’ve been by. I ordered a Chicken Soft Taco with easy ranch, and a Medium Tater Tots. I placed my order to go. You are given a number and the employees run the food out to you. Mine came out for a «for here» order, so I had to ask for a bag and stuff to go — no big deal, they were super quick about it. Food was okay, though the taco was swimming in ranch :(Yummy tater tots, but a medium is too much for one person. Visit #2 — Drive thru: So slow. Only 2 cars in front of me and it took forever. I ordered almost the same thing as last time, just no ranch this time(didn’t want another soggy taco), and a small tater tots. Waited. And waited. And waited.5 minutes after ordering it was finally my turn to pay. Waited some more. Finally got my food. No thank yous, no asking if I needed any sauces or anything. Oh well, good thing I didn’t. Have a nice day? Taco was much better not drenched in sauce, and a small tater tot was unfortunately unsatisfying as I literally got 6 tater tots. Meh. Line was super long when I left too. I will be back though, cause it was decent for fast food — and there aren’t many other options besides nasty McDonalds for quick drive thrus in Fairwood.

This is not Mexican food by any means. This is stoner white boy food, and nothing more. The food is disgusting, greasy, and is sure to upset your stomach. FYI there is no such thing as Mexican Fries…

Great service. Lines are long sometimes but it is the only decent fast food in the hill so…

This place has no idea what Mexican food is, but then again I don’t eat at Taco Bell either. Both of these joints insult the Mexican culture by trying to pass their food off as Mexican. Next time your in Southern California or Arizona try Roberto’s or Los Betos if you want real Mexican fast food. On their drink cups and packaging they praise their employees as being loyal, long term employees, with them for years and everything being grown fresh and coming from local suppliers, what a joke. All sizzle but no steak! The kid who took my order could only tell me that there were also vegetables that came in the burrito but could not tell me what kind. As I was leaving I enlightened him to the fact that the vegetable was called lettuce, he started laughing. Over priced, dirty, weak servings(more chicken in one nuggets than in my burrito), canned refried beans, guacamole that comes in a plastic bag from a major food supplier, poor excuse for a tortilla, this place really sucks!!! But if you have never had real Mexican food before, like over paying for crap food, eating in dingy places or have very low standards you might like it. All I can say is they must pay for their reviews. Very, very disappointing. I would t eat there again if they paid me. BTW the Unilocal system required at least a 1 star rating to post this but they should give me a star for surviving after eating here.

Best place to get tacos from a fast food place my favorite is the crisp bean burrito meal I have had great service when I got food from here and the food isn’t as greasy as taco bell’s I would totally recommend this place.

I’ve always liked Taco Time. They use fresh and local ingredients and they’re a local company. The food tastes great and while it’s expensive and unhealthy, it’s in a completely different league from Taco Bell when it comes to presentation, taste, and quality. This neighborhood location is convenient to the suburbs and nice comfort food when you’re too tired to cook and want some fattening cheese and beans.

I am a Taco Time addict – I’ll freely admit this. It’s one of the things I miss the most about living in the Seattle area, now having moved away. As a couple other reviewers have pointed out, this isn’t «legit» Mexican food, nor is it trying to be. It’s just good, fresh food, and I like supporting a local chain.

This is one of the best TT I’ve been to. Thanks to Caitlyn(sp?) for always providing service with a smile.

If people put the official fast food of WA to a vote sadly it’d probably go to fish n chips at ivars or the dick’s deluxe… but everyone knows in their heart of hearts it belongs to the crisp beef burrito.

Last time Im having Taco Time from the 140th location. Havent been in 4 months because it always turns my stomach inside out and I get explosive diarrhea within 60 minutes. Same thing tonight 1 hr after eating. Use to be a good place to get a fast meal. Not anymore. I never get sick from any of the other restaurants in the Fairwood area. I have eaten Miakos food with a 8 – 9 heat rating a couple of times per month for years and have never had my insides feel like they do after eating at Taco Time in Fairwood.

Fresh ingredients! Sweet customer service! Chicken tostada salad(sub beans for rice), chicken crisp burrito, chicken tortilla soup and churros are what we usually order. This place never lets me down! Pricey, but delicious!

Always have my complicated orders done perfectly. A little slow sometimes with long lines, but the food is fresh! I wish the prices were lower.

It is a decent Taco Time. The wait in the drive-thru takes forever! I have been multiple times and it is very busy. The food taste good, much better than Taco Bell!!!

I have been eating at this Taco Time for a long time now and never have a problem with the food quality. I typically order 1 of 3 things from just plain tacos to a crisp chicken burrito. The reason I can only give this location 3 stars is because of how long the food takes. In fact, with a family of 4 we often swing through fast food drive thrus for convenience since there are always other errands to run while we are out. If I see more than 2 cars in line at this Taco Time’s drive thru, I will opt for any other of the fast food opportunities in Fairwood. Last night I really wanted Taco Time so I braved the 4 car line in the drive thru. Took 20 minutes. Not ideal. Food was great though.

Taco Time is by no means my favorite for tacos in general because I always end up messing myself up when I misread the menu. That is all me and I accept that. It is, however, one of my favorite places when it comes to fish tacos! Who would have thunk it? They are delicious and light yet filling at the same time! The salsa and cabbage are just such a bright contrast to the fish. Additionally, I love seeing my husbands face when he mistakenly grabs one of my fish tacos and takes a huge bite — PRICELESS!!! Thank you for being an unexpected happy reminder of my high school days in San Diego.

Delicious. Consistent. Fast. Reasonably priced. What can I say. It’s Taco Time. And they’re the only restaurant that has burritos AND tater tots on the menu. I’ve always had a good experience at this location.

To the people complaing about price and then comparing it to the mexican restaurant up the street… lol Taco Time’s whole deal is they are the anti Taco Bell, anti McDonalds type place. Is it true Mexican food? Not really, but the ingredients are fresh and local, which means less preservatives. They make their salsa every day, more money because it’s more labor. Personally I don’t want a drop in quality for garbage«value» meals packed with junk. You ever smelled the apples in the kids meal at McDs? Smells horrible. Is your emphasis on saving money at the expense of filling your kids with even more chemicals than they already come in contact with on a daily basis, go to Taco Bell. Personally, I will pay extra for the food for a little more piece of mind. Also, this is one of the only fast food joints with much of anything on the menu. Jack in the crack and McDs offer to put just the vegetables on the bun. So that’s another plus for me.

It is TA.STY. We all know this. We paid 11.50 for a burrito, small mexi fries and small nachos. DELISH. One beef I have(pun intended), please don’t bring me my mexi fries with the lid open. You are making them cold on the way to my table! The service was slow. 17 mins to get my food. And the parking lot just seems small to me. I am always afraid of getting hit. Not that Taco Time can do anything about it. Oh… and the mild salsa for the nachos was so GOOD. Not sure if there was crack or meth in it, but it was some tasty stuff. And I want to bathe in the sour cream/ranch sauce. Yum.
