I called to have them clean my mother-in-laws house after she had a heart attack. The(2) Hispanic Ladies that came in spoke English upon their arrival, but as slow as they were working, when they were asked why was it taking so long, they did not know how to respond. A rep from the Merry Maids came and tried to have us sign up for a weekly/monthly service, and we may have certainly have if they cleaned anything. I was initially going to have them stay for 6 hours,($ 600) but after 3 hours they were barely done with a small kitchen. The only thing they did was clean the stove and some of the counters in(3) hours. The worst business ever. I cut them at(3) hours. They literally did nothing. The one maid would pick up a cup, clean underneath it, place the cup down, move to the second cup. They were slow, and we were totally taken advantage of. Do not use them. You will waste your money. The absolute worst performance I have ever seen.

This service was laughable. Worst cleaning I’ve seen or experienced. My daughter even vacuumed her room after they cleaners left and she never cleans her room. That’s how bad she felt for my wife.

The positives: I called on Saturday to have my housecleaned the same day and they had two maids at my home within several hours. Both maids spoke English well so I was able to have a conversation and express my needs as far as housecleaning. The ceiling fans and kitchen cabinets looked fantastic when they were done and they were really really bad. They also did a pretty good job on the blinds. The faucets in the bathrooms were shiny and they did a great job on the countertops in the bathrooms. The ladies were very polite and responded professionally and courteously when I asked them to re clean an area. The negatives: I was very clear to the gentleman on the phone that I may need the ladies to stay up to 5 hours because I am picky and want everything cleaned. My budget was $ 500.00. When the maids arrived they mentioned that my request was 2 – 3 hours. I corrected them and made it clear that I wanted a thorough and deep cleaning of my home and if it took 5 hours then that was ok. I feel that the communication between the office and their employees was not clear and I think that this is the core of the problem with my service. After the ladies said that they were finished with the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, I went to check out their work. The furniture did not look like it had been dusted and they did not clean the floor under the dresser as there was visible dust and dirt.(This dresser is about 3−4″ off the floor). There was also visible dust under the bed that could be seen while walking up the stairs. There was streaks on the mirrors and the cabinets were not cleaned. I asked them to spot clean the walls and ceiling in the shower and that was not done. One side of my vanity mirror was not cleaned as well as the arm of the mirror and the part of the toilet that connects the seat to the tank had not been cleaned. I expressed my concerns and the ladies returned to my room. They cleaned the dirt and dust from under the bed and dresser and cleaned the other side of my vanity mirror, but did not do the other things. I asked again and one lady went back upstairs for a bit. I trusted that they completed the job after my second request and did not check it again until after they left. The area on the toilet had not been cleaned, the mirrors still had streaks, the cabinets were not cleaned, the dresser still had dust on it and the vanity mirror was still not wiped clean. I also had to request that the ladies re vaccuum my closet and the hallway. They also did a terrible job on both sets of stairs. The carpet just did not have that freshly vaccuumed look. It was still matted down in some areas. It was as if the lady did not use the correct attachment to vaccuum and the carpet had not been brushed. The closet was re vaccuumed and was fine, but the other areas looked terrible. At this time, I felt like they were just not getting it and I was wasting my breath, so I stopped requesting them to re do areas. The downstairs bathroom was«eh.» The did not clean off the tissue box holder or soap dispenser or move the toilet paper basket to vaccuum. I didn’t say anything. I was pretty irritated at that point. The ladies ok job on the kitchen, but missed some important areas. The stove top was not cleaned underneath(That was one of my original requests) The handles to the fridge were not cleaned. The counter tops in some areas were not cleaned and the floors were not cleaned very well. I specified that I wanted the floors scrubbed and deep cleaned. The ladies ended up staying about 4.5 hours. I feel as if they skipped over things and missed spots because they were not intending on spending 5 hours at my home. I feel that if they would have done a deep cleaning in the first place and set their pace for a 5 hour deep clean, there would have been better quality of cleaning. I also feel that it wasted a lot of time for them go back to an area and clean something they missed or re clean something. I had high expectations of this company and I expressed those expectations to the gentleman on the phone and the ladies that were there to clean. I feel that the rate of $ 90.00 per hour for housecleaning is fair when the cleaning is top notch, but the cleaning was not top notch and I kind of feel like I got ripped off. I was really excited that I was able to have someone come in a deep clean my home, but in the end I was disappointed.

I was extremly happy with this Co. They accomedated me for the appointment, their girls were on time and very nice! These girls work very hard and really cared about the job they did. Just as important they were mindfull of specific instructions and all with a great attitude… such a relief, this was a big job… I will call this crew back! On a side note be ready for an extra credit card charge if you decide to use a credit card.
