We used to come here when I was a kid, but I have not been for years and years. The wife and I decided to give it a try again last night. We got there on a Friday night at 8:50pm when they closed at 9:30pm, which I felt was not super close to closing time, plus there were 3 other tables in there. We sat down and we were informed that the«all you can eat» option was not available anymore. I told them we were not planning on being here for hours but I was told they are not restocking the meat and produce. After hearing this another couple left as they were annoyed. The family behind us were annoyed also and were«allowed» to get 2 bowls at a time in place of the«all you can eat». The food was fine and the cook dudes were nice as well. The issue is how rushed and rude the owners were. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and I feel the entire menu should be served until the second they close. If the restaurant stays open an hour after closing, then that’s how it has always been at any other place. Anyway, we ate and left 15 minutes BEFORE they closed. It was annoying enough for us not to take the 10 minute trek and come here anymore… Too bad cause this place was a go to spot so many years ago.

Love this place, it has seen better days but I have been going here for nearly 35 years. Have to have some every few months and get my all-you-can-eat groove on!

Was craving Mongolian noodles and saw this place on Unilocal. We got to the restaurant and we were seated promptly. Even though the looks of the restaurant both inside and outside look old don’t let that discourage you from trying this place. My family got option where it came with Mongolian grill, rice, soup, bread, and wonton. For $ 12 it was well worth it. The taste and portions size of the food was great. There was also choice for AYCE Mongolian. Definitely will be back here.

I was there on 04/16/2016, which was a Saturday. It was not very busy when we got there. We ordered ice tea and went to get our bowl to makeup our veggie dish. The guy who cooked our meal greeted us, which was very nice, we gave him a generous tip. The lady who seated us was very nice too. The place is not very fancy, but was clean. We started with the vegetable fried wonton, which was very tasty, and a plain fried wonton, that was ok. The egg-drop soup was delicious! Our main stir-fried meal was delicious, too. I give this place an A+ rating on friendliness and delicious food. I give the service a B-. She came back only once, because it started getting very busy in the restaurant, we tried to get her attention to pay our check, but couldn’t. So my friend had to get up to go and get the lady to pay her. There was only 2 ladies working at the time. I will go back again… Thank you Mongolian Bar-B-Q Kings for the delicious food

As good as the food looked, I didn’t get a chance to try it. I walked in and waited a few minutes as there was other people waiting before me. I was asked how many in my party & waited. A party of 5 walked in after me & were seated BEFOREME. WHAT?! all the tables are the same size & there were open tables so I see no reason as to why they were seated before me after I had already been waiting.

This hole in the wall place was a total surprise, the somewhat unfriendly service there may leave a lot to be desired but never let that stop you because the quality of food is simply superb & the prices are very reasonable. One advice though; come VERY hungry.

I’ve only been to two other Mongolian BBQ places. One of them was at the mall. This place gives you so much for a «dinner». I did choose the AYCE option, but I had 2 fried shrimps, sesame pocket bread biscuit, a wonton, and soup with my bbq plate. OMG soooo good and I’m soooo full. I’m definitely coming back when I’m having a craving for Mongolian BBQ.

Service was good, but the selection was not. There are not many vegetables to choose from and the raw food area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. They do not scrape off or even attempt to clean the build up off of the grill in between orders so if you have any food allergies this is not the place for you. I have been to quite a few Mongolian places and this one was by far a huge let down in variety and flavor. We will not be returning.

Please for your own health don’t go here. The food was terrible, seriously should of seen the warning signs there was puke by the door. The food was so bland and nasty. The«fresh» meat was not fresh what so ever the chicken was frozen and had dried blood on it. The meat came in giant buckets that they scooped in to containers it was far from sanitary, the staff was not friendly at all they all looked so miserable. the worst part is it was just me two others and it was 60 $… Don’t go place needs to be reported to the health board

Came here for dinner with friends, and I loved it — never been to this location before(December visit), and with other fancier venues taking away from the smaller shops, I’m glad I was able to find this hideaway tucked back into reseda’s restaurants. I just got the one bowl, knowing it would be enough or I’d be stuffed upon exiting, and that was a good choice — my boyfriend however got the all you can eat option(usually a good move, since he’s a huge fan of leftovers!)… The staff are friendly and make sure you have all you need — and when I asked for Sriracha, the only look I got was from my boyfriend(he makes fun of my obsession with hot sauce). Enjoyed this place so much and have already come back a couple times!

I am slightly ashamed to admit my love for Mongolian BBQ and more so Mongolian Bar-B-Q King’s pocket biscuits! There is nothing better than building your own bowl of delicious meat and veggies and stuffing that concoction and stuffing it into your biscuits and pouring 5 pounds of sweet and sour sauce on it! If your in the food, I highly recommend it

Really flavorful, delicious and filling. Worth the trip from west hills. I love how the food is so hot and fresh since they cook it after you fill the bowl. And you’re in charge of what’s going into your food. Amazing experience here.

A little hole in the wall food joint along Vanowen. I see that a lot of reviewers gave them low ratings but I’m giving them 4 stars! I’m not a huge fan of mongolian bbq but I liked it here. The meats and vegetables are fresh, staff is friendly, and the food is cheap! We chose to do AYCE mongolian for $ 13(dinner price). I think you can never go wrong with the AYCE menu because you can just keep on coming back plus you also get rice, soup, egg rolls, wonton and pocket breads! You basically control how your food will taste so be careful how you season your meats/noodles so it doesn’t get too salty. Follow their sauce combinations so you don’t mess it up unless you are adventurous… also, easy on the curry powder. The buffet line can get pretty messy but I noticed that the staff cleans it up right away anyway. The line tends to be long though so there could be a wait. On our visit, there were only 2 guys cooking so we were in line for about 10 – 15 minutes. Parking is free but the lot is small. It’s not that difficult to get a spot though.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here. I used to live down the street and would always drop by to eat because the food is such a treat(and I had a major crush on the bosses daughter too). but back to the matter at hand… sitting on the corner of Corbin and Vanowen, yes, it’s not the best area. But you come here to eat, not to live. And what can you say about the food? it’s always good… the only way it can be «bad» is if you pick out the wrong meat-vegetable-sauce-oil combo. experiment a little, see what works, but don’t pout every oil and sauce over your precooked food… or else. and while«all you can eat» sounds inviting, the food really fills you up and you probably won’t be able to go back to the well too many times. give it a shot!

Mongolian BBQ in the valley? Ok. This place is definitely in a nondescript strip mall. Don’t bring a date here. You can tell that this place was built decades ago and it hasn’t been updated since then. Alas, I knew I was getting my lamb replaced but turkey but what does one do when he shows up and there isn’t even turkey. Okay, whatever. I wasn’t going to eat it anyway but just another option I had to live without. What was available? Beef, Chicken and Pork. None of the highest quality. In fact, there also wasn’t much variety as far as ingredients. The basics, onions, carrots, green onions, broccoli. The sauce selection was average. No garlic water? What? Would I ever come back to this place? Sure — would I ever crave it, No. I am craving Big Wok however!

I haven’t been back for years. A friend who loves to eat took me here one time. If you’re a fan of mongolian barbecue than this would be a good neighborhood spot to visit. They also have freshly made pocket bread available. I’m not a fan of mongolian barbecue and the whole tipping aspect as your food gets cooked. During lunch, they have all-you-can-eat, but can be pricey if you feel you have tip ever time they cook your bowl of food for you. I don’t think I’ll be back since I’m not a fan of this kind of dining experience.

This place is a little unassuming. It’s in a strip mall with pretty bad parking. Inside is pretty old, and not very impressive, kind of smells like your grandmas house. The menu is really simple. There is no way to get out of that fried wonton or egg roll. You order. Wait for your soup. Then get up and make your bowl of Mongolian BBQ deliciousness. Pack in as much meat as you can then fill up with veggies and pile the noodles as high as you can. There is a guide of how to distribute the sauces, I went for mild, but I disagree with the amount of ginger they suggest. I would go for way less, but that’s my opinion. There is also garlic powder, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes that i utilized. The BBQ was delicious, the bowl I made ended up being enough to feed a small village, so I took some home, I’ll be eating Mongolian for a few days :)

My first time to a Mongolian Restaurant. The prices are great. The service was exceptional. There wasn’t a lot of meat selection to choose from. They only have pork, chicken and beef. The beef was a bit too chewy. They give you a small portion of rice, wonton chip and sour egg soup. The pocket bread was really yummy and tasty. The inside of the restaurant was really small and when you first walk in there was an odd smell. Maybe they need to upgrade their furniture or do a little renovation. If your really hungry pay $ 1.00 for all you can eat Mongolian bowls. I don’t think it’s worth it. You can have the same amount of food and still have left overs.
