Hole in the wall but definitely authentic home style Thai cooking! Maybe I had a great experience because my boyfriend’s mom is Thai and made friends with the chef/owner. She told him to make the food how a Thai person would want it and he definitely delivered! What I liked most about this place is the diverse menu; seriously so much to choose from! They even have my beloved boat noodles! The noodles had a hearty herbal and beef taste with a mild kick. We also ordered the Yum Woon Sen(spicy glass noodles with shrimp and pork) and it had an immense amount of flavor. I ordered it really spicy and it was almost unbearable but I loved it anyway. I’m a sucker for spicy food but this was on another level so beware if you’re a wimp with the heat. My boyfriend always orders non traditional items such as cream cheese wontons and fried shrimp cakes which are mediocre at best in my opinion but I can see the average joe enjoying these items. One thing my boyfriend was thrilled about was his favorite item being available which is Khao Moo Dang(red bbq pork over rice). He loved the added hard boiled egg and Chinese sausages in the dish. Once our bellies were full and our leftover food was packaged in to go containers, the chef/owner came out to ask if everything tasted satisfactory. He specifically asked if anything was too spicy or salty and that he can always motify the food to what we’d like. He really seems passionate about his food and customer satisfaction which really stands out to me. With the amazing food quality, prices and customer service I’ll definitely be back!

This is pretty yummy– just be careful about how spicy you order it. I chose spicy and it was way too spicy for me– this rarely happens. So word to the wise! Also make sure to order rice if you get curry– I did not realize it did not come with. Fast and friendly service!

Service is not friendly. Food was ok. I read the reviews to check this place out and was disappointed. No one was in there to greet and the tables were sticky. But they had an «A» grade. The parking is horrible too because they share their space with other businesses. They seemed to be more busy with take out and ran out of rice around 2pm. So just be warned.

Food is delicious here, prices are nice, and portions are more satisfying than other Thai restaurants in the valley.

I was very happy to find this little gem. The food is great and the price is very reasonable. I ordered through Unilocal and it couldn’t be easier. The panang curry is my fave!

Food is really good, specially my shrimp cake. Only thing I didn’t like is fish cake, don’t waist your money on that… good place for takeout

Food was good, I ordered pad kee mao, cheese cake, Thai tea, and egg rolls. Pad ke Mao was dry but was ok after I put soy sauce on it, it also came with lettuce on the bottom which was gross, the Thai tea was weak in flavor, the egg rolls were creamy, and the cheese cake was good. We might come back to dine in but not for delivery, thought it got here quick. The food was good.

Great little Thai restaurant! Good price, good food, and nice people. Their Tom Kha Kai is my personal favorite. I have not had a bad dish from here.

1 star off because unless you know where this place is, you won’t find it. I walked up and down the block for about a mile before I realized that you have to walk down an alley to the back side of the building because the front of the store does not face reseda blvd, rather a parking lot behind the buildings u see on reseda. They should have a sign with an arrow on it visible from Reseda Blvd. That aside, I ordered my food to-go, the food was excellent and the portions were generous for the price. All in all a solid place to get fed. Update: So our household has been ordering from this place probably about twice a week now since the first review. I will say that a lot of our orders has been better than others, sometimes they forget an ingredient in a dish, or the spice levels can vary a lot between orders even though we always order medium. Still not bad.

Love this place! It is so cheap and the food is excellent. Service was really slow when they first opened. However, I learned that it’s best to call ahead to order and then to-go it. Also, don’t eat there on a summer day… esp when it’s 100+ degrees. I ate there once and I was literally sweating bullets. They said the AC was broken, but I don’t think they turn on their AC that much, even when it works. For food, my family and I usually get pad see yoo, pad thai, papaya salad, fried rice, and crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. Everything is delicious. Warning: the papaya salad is really spicy if you order it spicy. Medium is perfect for me.

If you craving inexpensive Thai food this is the spot in reseda, this is the spot. I came to order for pick up on a Thursday evening and this place was empty. it scared me for a second because that usual means the place sucks but i thought I’d give it a try. I ordered pad see ew, pad Thai and pineapple curry. Pad see ew was ok, I like my noodles«stir fried well done»(with some char on the noodles, if u know what I mean!) and was a little too sweet. Pad Thai was ok also, just lacking a little flavor. Pineapple curry was good but the pineapple was waaay to sweet and soft like it was obvious it came from the can. So I was satisfied because of the price and the portion(was huge!) If your looking for better quality and are willing to pay more$ then I don’t recommend this place but I may be wrong for the other stuff on the menu which I have yet to try.

NEVEREATHERE! ZEROSTARS! My coworkers and I used to like going here. Food has always been yummy and the people are very nice. But today, I stopped by on my lunch, ordered the lunch special beef and broccoli. I was about half way done when I realize there’s a big ass cockroach in my plate! Seasoned and drizzled with sauce! Which means it didn’t crawl in while my plate sat on the counter, no, he jumped into one of the ingredients and the dirty chef just grabbed him and cooked up with my order. Never have I been so disgusted in my life!!. I’ve been throwing up the rest of the day. The waiter apologized and said he wouldn’t charge us for the food. Which I wasn’t planning on paying anyways! There’s even an «A» health grade on the window, but that doesn’t mean anything I guess. I noticed tons of flies in the place, the waiter also wears sandals which is disgusting if you’re serving food. I hope they get a visit from the health inspector! I don’t want anyone to go through this horrible experience. I’ve posted a pic of the roach on my dish for all of you who need proof too.

I ordered 3 things from here for delivery. 1. Crying Tiger — Wow this was bad. Just supper bland beef. Boiled? Maybe Microwaved… I am not sure but… it was bad. Sauce did not help at all. 2. Shrimp Cake — This was the only think i liked. Dipping Sause was good and it good and crunchy with a good mix in there. 3. Combonation Fried Rice — I am going to be nice and call this ok. it was a little dry and only came with 2 shrimp. It just did not have much in the way of flavor. I don’t see myself ordering form here again sadly. I don’t write reviews often but this was bad enough that i felt i need to voice my option. –Ryan

I got pretty pumped for this place but it was honestly as Unilocal describes 3 stars, «A-Okay.» Food was decently priced as everything that came out was okay. You get what you pay for and with rising costs in running a restaurant, I cant blame them. I was hoping the spiciest would be something stupid hot and would kick me in the face but instead it was just a whimper. Service was great though so they got that going for them. 3⁄5

Been here a few times and food is decent at great prices! Small cozy spot that is a great closer alternative when we don’t have time to head out to Thai town or North Hollywood. I enjoy: — Beef salad(grilled marinated beef sirloin, mixed greens and lime dressing) — love — Pad Thai — with chicken or shrimp is good — Papaya salad — needs more kick — BBQ pork fried rice(with egg and onion) — rice was fluffy — Crispy pork w/chinese broccoli(sauteed crispy pork, fresh garlic and chines broccoli) — better if the pork was placed on the side so it can remain crispy longer but still like it :) — Cry Tiger(grilled marinated slices of beef with spicy Thai sauce) — flavorful — Boat’s noodle(with beef and beef balls, bean sprouts in braised soup) — overall decent Friendly service; located in a plaza northwest of Reseda Blvd. and Sherman Way.

This place is amazing! I always get delivery orders and found out about this restaurant less than 2 months ago and I have ordered it at least once a week since then. I love the green curry fried rice in spicy. I’m not sure how to describe this but it has basil and bell peppers in it, the best way probably it’s like pad ka pow in fried rice form. My sister loves the BBQ pork fried rice and it’s so delicious too. We also always get the cream cheese wontons. Theirs the best cuz unlike other Thai restaurants that barely put any cheese in the wontons, Saya non’s have so much cheese in them. Theyre amazing! OH and I mean let’s talk about the portions. I can literally have 3 to 4 meals of the fried rice.(It could be just me) but the portions are huge, again I always get delivery. Some place would have different portions if you dine in. But overall, this Thai place is a gem with such good prices I’m so glad my sisters got me into this. I haven’t tried other dishes yet unfortunately only cuz I just love their fried rice so much. If you’re craving cheap, delicious, authentic Thai food this is literally the place!!!

They are located in the alley – not on Reseda little FYI. It’s clean, the food is good, prices are fair. You can order through Unilocal online for pick-up or delivery. Now that I know where they are located – I plan to return to check out other menu items. The fried rice and thai tea – very good. :)

Probably the best thing about the Valley is our bountiful inexpensive, authentic, delicious, and unpretentious Thai food. Saya Non Thai is IMHO, all of the above. The restaurant is tucked away towards the back of the Bangluck shopping center and is accessible from the parking lot. The restaurant has a very extensive menu(100+ items) so be sure to go out of your comfort zone(*ahem* pad thai) and try something new! We ordered papaya salad mild, which was very tasty,(and really spicy, so be careful). I got the Rad Na noodles with pork and my girlfriend got Yen Ta Fo(seafood noodle soup). Both dishes were also really good. Rounding out the meal was an order of Thai tea. Portions here are very generous. Overall, a great, casual Thai restaurant in Downtown Reseda.

We were really looking forward to trying this place. Friday night is order in night so I placed an order through Unilocal online. Side note– Ordering through Unilocal is super easy and awesome and I love it. Chicken Satay was a little dry and the peanut sauce was oily. This was passable. Butterfly Shrimp were pretty good. Also passable. Boat’s Noodle soup was terrible. Beef was so tough like a shoe. Strange flavors not to our liking. We threw it out. Sorry Saya Non Thai. Saya Original Fried Chicken tasted okay, but was over cooked and dry. No! When ordering online, side dish options for the Fried Chicken are salad, steamed or fried rice. I choose fried rice thinking that would work with the rest of the order. They gave me French fries and ketchup packets. How do you screw up a online order in writing? Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork was oily. Just did not like this as much as I would have hoped. I’m not Asian, but I’m no novice to good Thai and Chinese food. I’m a big fan or Thai ‘ni, A & W BBQ& Seafood, Mandarin Deli, and my favorite Sam Woo Bar B Que. For the most part I was disappointed with Saya Non Thai.
