Sonia and her team are reliable, punctual and very flexible with our scheduling needs. We live in Arlington and they have no problem traveling to our home from Reston. I use them about once a month, sometimes every other month, and they always do a great job. Particularly with the bathrooms and the kitchen which in my mind are the toughest to clean and therefore top priorities! Everything is sparkling when they leave.

We have been using the services of Absolute Shine for several years for both residential cleaning as well as conducting a deep clean of a home that we previously owned as we prepared for a move. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Not only do they do excellent work, they are also extremely pet friendly and very conscientious of not disrupting family matters while cleaning our home. In fact, they have agreed on numerous occasions to change their cleaning schedule to accommodate the cleaning our home before/​after we have parties, neighborhood get-​togethers, or holiday events — they even agreed to come out and clean our home on Christmas Eve. Amazing service.

I was so ready to write a 5 star review… I called them to see if they could fit us in for the next day for a deep move out clean. Sonia was very sweet and said «Sure, no problem!» Which was awesome because we really needed it done ASAP! She said they could come the next morning at 730 and will be done around 9. We only needed the kitchen, bathrooms, hardwood floor and window seals cleaned thoroughly (we replaced all the carpet in the house a couple days prior). So the next morning, my husband leaves to go meet them at our vacant townhouse to review their clean and to pay them. It looked the almost exact same as we left it!!! The shower looked like someone just got out of it, the windows were never even opened, they just wiped down the floors (no scrubbing), the fridge had left over food crumbs… it was a disaster… my husband had to stand there and tell them what to «re-​clean» and everytime he added something to the list, they made this annoyed response and rolled their eyes. They claimed that I didn’t specify that it was a deep clean, that I just needed it cleaned. Well. I’m sorry! But EVERY clean they do should be a DEEP clean!!! Not a half-​ass clean! I’m very disappointed… I was so ready to give them more positive reviews… next time I will not go with the business who only has one review…

I keep my house pretty clean but the ladies at Absolute Shine took it up another notch. They did a great job for a great price. They worked really hard and it shows in the cleanliness of my house. I have scheduled a biweekly cleaning. I would definitely recommend them!
PROS — professional, cleaning was well done; licensed and bonded; accepts credit cards; hard workers!
CONS — depending on who they are scheduled to clean before you… there is a possibility they may be late.
