Enviro Cleaners

So thankful for them this morning! I am a busy mom of 2 small girls that completely forgot to get a bridesmaid dress steamed before my friends wedding! They took care of it in record time for me so that I wouldn’t have to come back and even carried it to my car for me! I am so thankful for their kindness and will be switching my business to here.

A quick review on a busy day:
Service was last weekend. Enviro turned up after a random ‘net search. Since they were close to me, I went. Prices are — for this area — reasonable. They were supposed to have 5 shirts ready for me Friday morning; it was the Friday of a wedding weekend. I rolled in there Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm, and the shirts weren’t ready. But! They just asked politely if I would wait five minutes, &, five minutes later exactly, those shirts were sorted out & perfect, hanging tidily on their hangers.
Staff seems friendly enough, customers in general sounded pleased — this could be the new local cleaner, for us.

Took a dress for cleaning and it’s like they didn’t even attempt to clean it. It smelled and it had the same exact deodorant stains on it. First and last time using this place.

If I had a choice, I would rate them zero stars. I’m done going here, they ruined my $ 250 dollar dress! I think they just wash the clothing and don’t really do anything that special that you can’t do yourself. They also left my husbands white shirt with black splotches and a weird oder. Save your money!

Beware. Bad experience with them damaging my laundry. I’ve been using them to dry clean all my work clothes and after several times getting back damaged laundry, I decided to post my review here to warn others. Damage includes (broken buttons, tears and holes). The last straw being them damaging a relatively new expensive shirt.

Would not recommend. I took in several collared shirts and upon getting home noticed that they were poorly ironed and wrinkled. I also thought that $ 5 a shirt was a little pricey. Will not be going back.

All of the cleaning is done on site, and they are incredibly accommodating. I had a friend fly into town for a funeral and he needed a suit pressed this was the only shop in the area that would do it on the spot while we waited. The price was great, service excellent, and the fact that they took care of a new customer like he was an old family friend was refreshing. They will be getting all of my business from now on.

I used to swear by this place because of the convenience and very reasonable prices. I did have one issue with a pair of pants getting stained during cleaning, but nothing I couldn’t get over.
However, the last time I went I noticed my bill was easily twice what it would normally be… they changed their pricing without any notice! Only when I left I saw the $ 2.99 sign had been taken down from the side of the building. Sneaky, sneaky.
Sorry, but I’m not paying $ 7.50 to have a dress cleaned. You may say «you get what you pay for», but I have had great experiences with inexpensive dry cleaning before and I plan to do it again — someplace else.

I used the Unilocal deal here to get my comforter and winter coats cleaned. They are very nice. The pickup was a bit unorganized but other than that everything was fine!

Stink Beware. I really wanted to like and to give this environmental my business. I dropped off approx $ 70 worth of blouses and dresses for dry cleaning and they came back smellier than when I dropped them off. Weird, but I do sweat I figured being environmental I’d just ask them to re-​do the clothing. Upon picking the clothes up today they smelled a little better, faintly still of body odor, but not fresh like dry cleaning typically smells. Sadly I had to ask for a refund and take my clothes elsewhere.
I wouldn’t have even left a review of the manager didn’t proceed to solicit another customer to smell my clothes to confirm they smelled. Of course the customer that awkwardly did agreed with me and I was refunded, but I was embarrassed that he’d do that. Why disgruntle two customers at the same time?
I took my clothes elsewhere.

Not worth the money, they charge $ 2 for a shirt and dont even iron the shirts. I gave them 17 shirts and none of them had their sleeves pressed. I had to redo all my shirts, I have attached few pics for reference. Take your business elsewhere, the cheaper ones are still way better than them.

Used their Unilocal deal. They took it without any fuss and got my stuff back to me in great shape and when they said they would. No complaints.

Where is this place? Unilocal directions put me at Hot Bikram Yoga in some office park with no dry cleaning service! I ended up dropping off my suit at nearby Sunset Cleaners on 1820 Michael Faraday Drive… $ 10 for dry cleaning a men’s suit, what are other prices like in Reston?

This place is pretty slow (despite the same-​day service they claim to have, assuming you dropped it off at the time they state). Service was … weird. I honestly couldn’t understand what they were asking me, a lot of mumbling.
There are a bunch of other places in the area, but I thought I’d try this place because of the deal. Its not really worth it.

Enviro Cleaners is my secondary cleaner for when I need something quickly. Like my other primary cleaner, I get everything back same day, even on weekends and Sundays.
The staff isn’t very friendly (in some cases they’re downright snippy), but they’re always willing to make sure everything I’ve dropped gets done professionally and on time.
They will remain my secondary cleaner unless I end up moving closer.

I take back my first review, we will never use Enviro Cleaners again.
Yes, our first try went smoothly… but our second time couldn’t have gotten any worse. My fiancé brought in several of his suits and a few of my pants for a standard dry cleaning. They told him that the clothes would be ready in 3 days. He goes back 3 days later to pick up the clothes and they tell him that they are not ready. It says clearly on his receipt that our clothes would be ready by then. They tell us to come back tomorrow and they would have it ready for us. OK fine, we can wait a day.
We go back the next day and they tell us that the clothes still are not ready. WHAT?! My fiancé insists that they told him it would be ready by now. The guy then admits that THEY DON’T KNOW WHERE OUR CLOTHES ARE. So you’re telling me that instead of admitting that you don’t know where you placed our items you would rather keep pushing the problem, thus wasting our time? My fiancé then pushes them to check again… what were we supposed to do, just leave?! They come back with most of our items except for one pair of pants. They tell us to come back the next day and they will have found it by then. FINE. Not like we have any other options.
Instead of coming back the next day we decide to give them the rest of the week to resolve the issue. There was no rush for the pants, so we waited. We returned 5 days later to pick up the pants. Well wouldn’t you know… when we ask for the pants they say «You’re clothes are not ready yet.» This is the point where it become blatantly HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We know you are lying, we know you couldn’t find the pants before. We are completely fed up at this point. We demand for the pants and he again admits that they don’t know where they are. Finally, they decided to ask us what the pants look like and they find it almost immediately. WOW. It was that easy? Why didn’t you just ask for us to describe the pants in the first place? Such a waste of our time.
Forget it, I’m not risking losing my expensive work clothes for their prices. I’d rather pay more somewhere else that can actually return my items. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!

I would give them no stars if I could. I have always noticed my light colored pants coming back with fading and discoloration spots but i have NEVER complained until yesterday when one of my velvet pants (dry clean only) came back with burn marks and the zipper was ripped out. Ahmad actually had the audacity to a) tell me maybe im too big for the pants, (the pants being a size 8 and im a size 6) b) they hold no responsibility once the item was worn after their dry cleaning and c) he doesn’t need my business.
WELL if the business owner tells you himself he doesn’t need your business, then i guess i should take it where they DO need it.
he also told me those burn marks are just food spots. DUDE the velvet is gone in 4 different PATCHES. you’re telling me those are food spots?
plus they use hydrocarbon — they are NOT Environmentally friendly.

These guys do good work and are well priced. BUT, first they lost two of my shirts, substituting someone else’s. We worked that out. Then a couple of weeks later, I found a huge tear in one of the new shirts I bought to replace one of the lost ones. Ok, we worked that one out. Then a few weeks later, I’m at work and I reach back to scratch my shoulder, only to find that there is a tear on the back of my shirt.
I’m done! I’m looking for a new place! I guess you get what you pay for. :-(

I got the Unilocal!deal and drove over at lunch time to drop off shirts. I’ll update this when I pick them up, but my first impression is that they charge too much for shirts. Several reviewers indicate that this place is inexpensive or reasonably priced, but it’s not. I wish I read more, because there is one here with the actual prices. Nothing particularly fast about them either.

This place is ok, but nothing special. I had shirts done. They’re not fast, they’re not cheap, and the quality isn’t any better than any place else. The second shirt I took off the hanger had a wrinkled sleeve. They have coupons and Unilocal!deals, which make the price a little better, but I’m not someone to go tracking these things down every time I need a shirt. The guys at the counter were pleasant.

I have been using Enviro Cleaners for years now. They offer friendly and affordable dry cleaning services with a two day turn around. On the rare occasion that a problem comes up, Ahmad is always quick to correct it. There have been a few times when I haven’t even noticed a stain or tear but EC always takes care of it. As a regular, I’m always greeted by name when I arrive. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.
I’ve had shoes polished and boots re-​heeled with great results. I’ve even had zippers on purses replaced and straps restitched.
