I don’t know how this man is as a therapist, but he is a terrible custody coordinator. Instead of focusing on how to make a custody agreement work for the benefit of the children, he fancies himself an attorney and just tries to interpret it to arrive at a «harmonious» solution, which generally benefits one of the parents. If said parent is the vindictive one, this usually means the children lose out. You should just set fire to $ 310 and use your time towards a more beneficial, less frustrating activity. He does not care at all about his «patients» or their children. He just wants to get them out of his office, leaving those of us who provide moral support to parents who continuously have their rights to communicate and connect with their children chipped away at picking up the pieces. By the way, when he sees you individually, he talks a good game so that you believe that he just cares about ensuring the children have as much access to both parents as possible, but when push comes to shove, whichever parent is the one trying to take the children away from the other (loving, involved) parent usually gets their way because he just doesn’t want to deal with it. Do not go to this man thinking «he’s a trained professional. He can see through bullshit.» He can’t.
