Catering! Please don’t stop at the GDG website catering menu. Hicham can deliver so much more and he does it quite well. My husband had a company dinner party catered by Glory Days Grill of North Point Village Center last December. The meal and the service were excellent. A lovely carving station for roast beef(with a jus) plus chicken and side dishes made for a truly special evening. Before dinner, servers passed hot hors d’oeuvres of special shrimps and crab cakes — really delicious! The service was top notch and manager Hicham was always making sure everything was timed perfectly. Fun to have him there in his black chef’s jacket.

We stopped in for dinner and that was our first mistake. My girlfriend and I both ordered the beef on weck that was absolutely disgusting. You could tell by the look, smell and taste of the beef that it was old, reheated and way over cooked. We told the server and ordered a couple other things that were not much better. We will not be returning!

The location isn’t the best, nor the worst. I was happy to hear that a new sports bar type restaurant was opening in the area, but it’s not my go to by any means of the word. I’ve come to this location countless times now and the service/food quality/overall experience is about the same. Looks like younger high school/collage staff, who can come and go as far as service is concerned. The food is what you’d imagine from a sports bar, I wouldn’t say anything like COMEFORTHEWINGS! because they aren’t that special. What they do have going for them is an endless array of TV’s hanging on every wall and corner of the place. Doesn’t matter where you sit, you’ll be able to see the game for sure. As well as, like more Glory Days, they put individual speakers on each table so you can tune into which game/tv you’d like to hear. That is helpful for sure, however, its usually so loud in here that the speakers are overwhelmed.

This place is terrible. The boneless wings were obviously frozen with heavy breaking and no seasoning. The Glory sauce taste like ketchup with no spice or flavor. The burger was frozen too with no seasoning, most notably was the lack of salt. I would never go here again. You’re better off going to Santini’s Deli just down the street.

This place is always busy. Two reasons: it has something for everyone and not much else around for sports bar/restaurant unless you go to the town center. Great place for a quick cheap family dinner or a place to watch the game with some buddies after work. The entire staff is very friendly and they always have tons of employees working. The food is decent. The have pretty good daily specials. I recommend burger Monday and pizza Thursday’s!

I got the Hellfire burger and it was absolutely delicious, as was the side of veggies. I also got the lava cake(without raspberry sauce) which was heavenly as always. The atmosphere in the place is enjoyable, although all the TVs and distractions probably don’t make it the best date spot. My only question, though: Why is every single waiter weird/awkward? I think a good restaurant should have charismatic and polite servers. I understand getting the ‘jock’ type since it’s a sports bar, but I think this location could hire much better people for the front line.

Now I remember why I almost never eat at restaurants like this. Bad menu, bad service, and ultimately bad food brought to the table. Also, what kind of bbq place does not have brisket? When I ask a server what is good on the menu, the last response that I expect is a condescending stare and«I don’t know … depends on what you like» answer. Will not return. Would give less than 1 star if I could.

Glory Days is the type of place that used to be everywhere — the neighborhood bar/restaurant. The North Point GD is very friendly and welcoming and the food is consistently delicious. I come here at least once a week. The Manager, Hicham, is always attentive to the customers satisfaction which inspires loyalty from the patrons. Great place to hang with friends.

Love all the TVs the interaction of the managers to the guests and the atmosphere. My server tonight, Duy, all smiles, took excellent care of me and my family. Emily behind the bar, made my drink exactly to my expectations. I had the Grilled Buffalo Chicken salad. A delicious mix of cool salad and blue cheese with the spicy kick of the mild buffalo chicken grilled was the perfect combination. The slam dunk pretzels warm and soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. The cheese sauce served on the side is the perfect marriage to the pretzels.

Let’s just say it would have been better just to go to McDonalds. We wanted a nice family atmosphere and good food. Our waitress Nicolette had a bad attitude from the start. It took about 10 minutes for her to come to our table to take out drink order. Then, she brought a regular drink for Madison. The food took almost 30 minutes to come out… We asked for drink refills and got them 15 minutes later. When she brought the bill, she charged for 3 regular drinks. We asked her to fix it and she took almost 20 minutes. She came to the table when we finally flagged down the manager. And then she wouldn’t leave his side so we could actually tell him about the service. Not only did she roll her eyes once, she did it twice. I would not go back here… On the way out, the manager said«we’ll see you next time». My 5 year old responded«no, I don’t think we’ll be coming back here again.»

***update February 20, 2016. I still want to like this place. But the service is still very horrendous. What kind of manager hires a server with such a bad Russian accent and poor communication skills, that he can’t get any orders right? We’re all for giving everyone a job. But the ability to communicate in English ought to be a minimum requirement. Shame on the manager that chooses to give customers such a frustrating experience, and doesn’t have the sense to anticipate issues he is creating with the language barrier. This restaurant continues to fail on a customer service level. And that’s a management problem from the very top. Something they have never adequately addressed.

The food is good and the drink prices are reasonable. The bar, restaurant and bathrooms are always clean and the people are always nice. I’ve visited several times; the fish sandwich is my current favorite.

This place not very good. The service that I got was pretty bad for someone expecting a 20% tip. I would say ¾ times I’ve been here the service was pretty mediocre. The food is ok. It’s what you expect from a cheap sports bar.

I recently visited this location in Reston VA for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away. We were immediately greated by the manager and sat at a table in the bar(per our request). Our server came immediately, gave us the drink menu and let us have a few minutes to order. He didn’t leave us hanging for too long, nor did we feel rushed. That was the theme for the whole night. Perfect timing throughout our service. He brought us our beers and let’s us look over the menu. We ordered the new Asian lettuce wraps and the boneless wings with the honey old bay and buffalo sauce for our appetizers. These were great! The Asian lettuce wraps are a must try. Some of the best I’ve ever had for a sports bar and the wings were amazing too. The wings were nice and crispy, juicy, and very flavorful with their house made sauces. Since it was just my girlfriend and I, we ended up just ordering dessert after. We shared the molten lava cake and it hit the sweet tooth craving. Warm and moist Chocolate Cake with a vanilla bean ice cream and hot fudge and raspberry sauce. A perfect way to end our meal. So the food and service gets a 10⁄10. The atmosphere is great! I used to go to the Sterling location quite often and this location is by far way better. It’s not dark and dingy and isn’t cluttered with excessive amounts of sports memorabilia. It still has the sports decorations in a more organized and classy manner. They have patio seating and plenty of flat screen TVs all over the place, making it nearly impossible to miss any of the action. To summarize, I usually don’t write this long of a review but I was absolutely blown away with everything. 10s across the board for the food quality, customer service, and atmosphere. I recommend this glory days location to anyone and everyone!

I love Glory Days and especially this one. The manager, Hicham Younes, and his staff will always make you feel welcome from your greeting to your services. It’s not just the average sports pub and food, there are many sensible options for those seeking lighter fare with their variety of salad options and grilled items too. They also carry a very large selection of ever changing local and micro brews. This Glory Days is also a great option for us work from home folks as they offer free Wi-Fi and seating with electrical outlets, just ask your host as you are seated and they will accommodate you. I find it a great place to get out of the house for a late lunch /early dinner for quiet, good food, service and ability to get a little work done with a change of scenery. On Football Sundays, they are very accommodating to take care of the whole neighborhood and fans. Great place to watch a variety of sporting events with your friends and neighbors. I love the burgers, steaks and salads… and the occasional :-) Oreo Slider with hot fudge! It is truly a neighborhood establishment and a real sense of community. Stop in and say Hi to Hicham!

The bartender with the beard literally does not know anything about customer service. Every time I’ve gone in he always treats myself and group of friends like we are an inconvenience. I go to this location because it’s walking distance from my apartment but I keep giving this guy chances hoping he will be in a better mood. You shouldn’t be barren don’t if you don’t like people.

The only reason I used to go to Glory Grill was to have Chicago style hotdogs. They have taken them off the menu. Service was very slow too. Waited over 20 minutes too get our food and then waited to get our check. With no Chicago style hotdogs and lousy service no reason to return.

I really like this place. Here’s why: * the food(at least the food I’ve had) is excellent. My favorite is the Cedar Plank salmon, salmon cooked on a small plank of cedar wood to give it a nice smoky flavor. The vegetables are fresh and high quality, and cooked just the right amount. * the service is upbeat and friendly * the place is brand new * the place is spotless I’ve been to other Glory Days Grill restaurants and found them to be not nearly as nice. This one’s great though.

This new Glory Days is great! If you have ever been to a Glory Days you know that they have a great food, a nicely priced happy hour(which starts at 3:00 pm), and TV screens everywhere. Each table has a channel-selectable speaker so that you can hear your game or news program. What makes this location stand out is the wrap-around windows. Instead of a dark bar scene, it has a wonderful light-filled ambiance in the afternoon and early evening. The service is fantastic and a manager always stops by to make sure your have everything you need. Next time you are trying to figure out where to go for lunch or dinner, give this new location a try. You will not be disappointed.

I not too excited about going to Glory Days locations, but this location is new and fairly nice compared to the other ones. The service was above average. I really appreciated the fact that our server was able to relocate our party to a bigger table when we had some extra people join us. The food selection is pretty standard sports bar fare. I still haven’t found anything that really impresses me. The burgers are a safe bet. The beer selection isn’t huge. The big domestics are there, but not a ton of other choices. The main draws are the TVs everywhere playing football on a Sunday afternoon. Chances are, they’ll have your team on.

This location is certainly better than sterling or Fairfax locations for sure. By better, I mean it’s cleanliness and newer. Everything’s new in Reston location, service can be slow time to time and there are little things that I can point out which can be improved but still minor issues. I like their seasonal menu and beer selections for sure. Best thing they have is though their philly steak and cheese. Surprising their burgers aren’t as delicious as it look or sound on the menu. Same goes for wings. I’d prefer buffalo wing factory and o Sullivan’s for wings. They do have daily happy hour specials but ends early like 6 so I can never make it to try it out. Who starts drinking at 3 pm?

I am a regular for the Monday Burger special. Great burger, choice of side and an ice tea for less than $ 10.00. Fantastic. We always get great service and the burgers are cooked to order! The manager knows us and stops by to check on everything. The wait staff comes back unasked with drink refills. I come other days and other times. In the evening with neighbors for some beers while we watch a game. Apps at the bar are great. A quick dinner when we don’t feel like cooking. I always enjoy this place. They even opened for breakfast when the NFL had the game in London! I have always gotten great food and great service, The manager seems absolutely interested in what I think of his establishment.

I’ve been coming to area Glory Days for a long time. If you like roast beef sandwiches they make a great one called Beef on Weck. Delicious wing sauce tonight, we had hot, spicy garlic, and glory. Bartenders and staff are always pretty friendly and attentive. Picture was inspired by the kid.

I’m not sure what is going on with this Glory Days, but I would NOT recommend going here for lunch. I stopped in with a co-worker last week after telling her how much I love Glory Days as a chain and left pretty disappointed. We were greeted with confusion and the rest of our visit didn’t get much better. There was a large party in front of us and we were not acknowledged until they were taken to their seats-even with two greeters! Then when we started heading off to a table with one person, we ended up being taken back to the host stand and being re-routed to another table after he conferred with the other hostess. Then it took a while for a server to pay us a visit, so by the time she took our drink order we pretty much knew what we wanted to eat. In the interim though, it took so long to get drinks that another server stopped by our table to make sure we were being helped. Once our soda’s arrived we put in our order and waited, and waited, and waited. We were able to flag our waitress down for a soda refill but we only saw her once more to drop the check at the end, and even then, I had to flat out ask for it. The food took so long to get out to us that it was almost room temperature and my sandwich was so greasy I could barely finish half of it. We actually watched our aps come out and try to be delivered to a table behind us, only to be sent back to the kitchen and come back out 5 minutes later. So I am sure that was part of the problem.(see my pretzel pic and you can tell they had been sitting out a while) Sadly, we were so hungry at that point we didn’t flag anyone down to make it right. To their credit, the bartenders that delivered our food and the other server that came to check on us were hustling, but even with their efforts, we were still there for an hour and a half for lunch. But still, and I think this is because I was not technically their table, when I asked for extra mustard and a side of mayo, I only got the mayo, and I only got that because I asked a second time when food was being dropped at a nearby table. Unfortunately, in this area, with so many other options this is just unacceptable to me. Maybe it was just a bad day, maybe the staff is new and under trained? IDK what the deal was, but I don’t have that kind of time to come back to find out. Update: Almost immediately after posting this review I received a message from GDPR asking me if the manager could contact me. I obliged and provided my contact information and have heard nothing… *crickets* It’s been a month. So, I’m going to guess that management is the issue here… too bad.

Times like this, I wish Unilocal allowed us to give half star-ratings… This place gets a solid 3 stars from me, &2 from my better half. So, 2.5 stars it is. We decided to check out this place since my guy works nearby. He’d heard from a few folks who come into his office that the Glory Days franchise of restaurants was opening this new location at the edge of a strip mall in Reston. I was pretty famished from not having eaten breakfast or lunch & stopping by here around 4pm on a Sunday seemed like a good idea, so we did it. Upon entry, we were greeted with loads of smiling and helpful employees… everyone seemed really kind & I have 0 complaints about the service. It was excellent. The food, however? Not so much. Personally, I though everything I had was decent — my guy says it was because I was starving… ;) We started with the nachos from the appetizer menu & they were just«meh.» Didn’t feel crazy fresh… just liked they’d been quickly assembled in the back(and they came out super fast after we ordered them so, that confirmed my suspicious). Also, there wasn’t any fresh cheese used in the nachos, if that tells you anything. They are worth trying once, I think. And, just know that the half portion of the nachos are what full portions would be at most all restaurants. I shudder to think of what the size of the full portion would’ve been. For an entrée, I got the cheddar ale soup that came with a pretzel on the side. And, I would totally get this again. It’s a seasonal March special & the pretzel tasted really fresh and nice(I wish it were bigger, but it was the appropriate size for the cup of soup). I also ordered a half-portion of the BBQ chicken salad, but got the chicken on the side for the carnivore sitting across from me. ;) So, I can’t give a good review on that dish because I literally just had a lot of lettuce tossed with a small amount of tomatoes and tortilla strips, chives, and shredded cheese. Nothing exciting. My husband had the Shephard’s Pie(which is on their March special seasonal menu), & thought it was just alright… he said it was nothing particularly delicious, but not terribly bad either. We both agreed that the lava raspberry chocolate cake(with ice cream on top) was the only thing — if anything — that we liked from the whole meal. In the end, the ambiance, spacious booths, multiple TV screens, and vast amount of adult beverages available would be the things that would draw me back. So, I’d consider coming back & giving the food a second shot — even if my husband says it’s not worth it. All in all, a very average experience in the ‘burbs. Sigh. Guess life out here will mean exploring eateries that are non-franchise…in hopes of finding a place that’s really tasty above anything else.

Opening day! The family and I came for dinner and being familiar with their other locations, very much were looking forward to dining closer to home. As with their other locations, its practically impossible to not sit in a location and not have several tvs nearby. The speaker box on your table allows you to receive the audio for the station you desire and keep it to your needed level. However, remember, in the end it’s still a sports bar and pretty noisy! Our waiter, Brian, was pleasant. Quick to address any concerns(of which we had few) but the willingness was greatly appreciated. We chose standard fare: hamburger, fried shrimp and Chicago styled hotdogs. I ordered my burger rare and it came back the way I asked. No one at my table had any complaints about their food. All in all, I would say well done for opening day. We walked in at the same time as a number of people and GD staff was efficient at getting us through and seated.
